The staff that helped me (Dana and Tanvi) were amazing, as were the rest of the office staff, even the security person at the entrance providing directions. Every part of the room was clean - spotless. Though the "hospital smell" frightens me, the staff made me feel at ease the entire time. Had I lived closer, I would've made this location my go-to spot!

Dr. Fujita came in, as well as other doctors to help me survive the accidental colon and bladder injuries, and life-threatening sepsis. He repaired my colon, gave me a colostomy, and 6 months later did the reversal surgery. I survived. I recommend him.

He misdiagnosed pneumonia and after his screw up, just said she will die within a few months. We have taken her to a another specialist and these real doctors have biopsied the cancer (which he never did) and now she is on a targeted therapy. Shame on you Dr Ashouri! Something happened during my surgery. I woke up in ICU with a tube down my throat. Not the usual post op care for a hysterectomy. Though I was on strong pain medications, I asked why I was in ICU. The answers were vague. I was hospitalized for ten days and following my discharge I asked Dr. Hakim why I was in ICU. Her reply was blatantly untruthful. She told me she wanted me to have the best of care, so she put me in ICU. Doctors do not have the option to simply place a patient in ICU without a definite medical need. But I was just glad to be cancer free, so I didn't press the issue. Fast forward to September, 2023. One morning my belly swelled up like a balloon and I was in terrible discomfort. I went to the Emergency Room. After some tests, the doctor came into the little room and told me my intestines were totally blocked. I needed immediate surgery. Without it "You're in trouble. You're in bad shape. We have to operate." After the emergency surgery, the surgeon told me it was a long and difficult operation. He had to scrape scar tissue off my intestines. He couldn't promise me the scar tissue wouldn't return. I asked if this was due to my prior cancer surgery. He told me "It's very likely." The recovery was long and the post operative swelling didn't go down. Instead, it became worse as the weeks and months passed. Finally, following a C Scan, I was told that having two large surgical incisions in virtually the same place on my abdomen, in such a short time, thinned out my abdominal wall and it will no longer support my intestinal organs. Further, I was told this is a permanent condition. There are no longer any abdominal muscles that could be strengthened. The ugly truth is I am now burdened and disabled with a large, protruding belly which causes considerable discomfort. I struggle each day with constipation and the possibility that the scar tissue will return is a threat I must live with or possibly one day die with. Before Dr. Hakim I was a slender woman with a flat stomach. I was fit and healthy. Today, every day, I just get through the heavy discomfort of my ruined abdominal wall. My intestines and other organs have minimal support. What happened to me Dr. Hakim?

I had an extremely upsetting and unprofessional experience with a front desk staff member named…read moreLydia. From the moment I interacted with her, she was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic professionalism. When I asked a simple question, she actually called it "stupid" to my face -- something I never imagined hearing in a medical setting. At the time, I was under an incredible amount of stress, as my grandfather was battling cancer and in a very fragile condition. Unfortunately, due to what I believe was careless negligence on the part of the office -- including not properly reviewing his records -- his condition became severely worse. This is inexcusable, especially for a medical office where patient care should be the top priority. To make matters worse, after this critical situation arose, my repeated calls and voicemails went unanswered. There was no urgency, no follow-up, and no compassion shown. Lydia's attitude and the office's overall lack of responsibility made an already heartbreaking situation even more traumatic. I hope the management seriously evaluates how they handle both patient records and staff behavior, because no family should have to go through what we did. I will say that there was an elder Asian lady who was a nurse that made the experience with her kindness a bit better for us. She was very caring with her patients.

Each time my pharmacy sends a refill request, it takes weeks for them to respond. Most of the time I have to call and leave a message begging for someone to look in the fax box for my refill request because I am missing doses of my meds. It seems he just has too many patients. He hired a PA a while back to help with the workload but it hasn't improved the Rx refill issue.
