Located within the vast One Illinois Center building, this cute mom and pop shop provided us with friendly, fast service. If you get lost like I did, just call them, and they will direct you. The sweet woman working (her name escapes me), was able to wash/dry/fold all of our laundry same day, within a few hours, for a very reasonable price. I just had the MOST AWFUL experience with this bad cleaner and the owner/manager. I took a favorite pair of jeans in to have a notch on the zipper repaired. They told me it needed to be completely replaced for $18. I thought that was overkill, but agreed. When I went to pick up the jeans they were wrap tightly in a sealed plastic bag. The owner/ manager INSISTED I must pay cash - no credit or debit card which I found odd since they display Visa MC etc. I should have opened and inspected my item fully at this point. My only mistake. When I opened the sealed bag at home the next morning there was a huge tear in the backside of my jeans. I figured like "any decent business" they would gladly repair if they could or refund the charges. I went in a spoke to an assistant Monday morning who said I had to speak to the manager and to come back after 2:30 pm. This is WHEN THE CRAZY - WHACKED OUT part started. When I went back she insisted in a loud angry voice that "NO WAY" she damaged the jeans. Claimed she has been doing this for 22 years and "Never, Never damaged anything". Yeah right. Said she can't refund every mistake. She said "maybe You are too fat". I explained that I never put them jeans on. They were damaged in a sealed bag and was getting mad now that she suggested I was fat. After 15 minutes I could see she was nutz and clearly some kind of money grubber. HORRIBLE, CRAZY, CROOKED. Avoid this horrible cleaner and there lousy customer service all means. read more

Used their wash and fold service while on extended business trip. $30 for 7lbs, 24 hour turn around. Not sure if this is value for money but it beat paying hotel prices. Friendly staff and easy location to find. read more

This is my go to spot for dry cleaning and alterations. It's close to my apartment and many of my frequent errand spots. Julie is always so welcoming and always knows right where my items are without needing my info. She cares for each item we bring in. I have had many high end items that have needed some stain removal and repairs. She is definitely the person I trust with those. read more

The owner is a very nice, friendly Korean lady. She was chatting with someone who stopped by to say hi when I showed up. Unfortunately, the job is never done when she says it would be done. I took in 3 dresses for hemming, and she needed 10 days. I agreed to wait, thinking she was really busy. 11 days later, when I showed up, she gasped and said only two of them were done and needed 10 minutes to finish the last one. I walked around for 12 minutes and went back in, and she said she needed 30 more seconds. In the end, I walked out with all 3 dresses in 15 minutes, but all she needed to do was set aside 45 minutes for my dresses... She also owns Kim's cleaners at Aon Center, and my dresses were not done in time at that location, either. I had to go back a few days later to pick up. No, no one called. If you use her for alteration, call first to make sure the job is done. read more
