    If you have a cotton comforter... Don't take it here, they ruined mine !!! The interior was separated and it's so wrinkly !! Horrible place

They did a fantastic job, but Yelp gave them poor reviews and Hampton a perfect score. This was one of the few luxuries of my life, a 100% woolen blanket which I purchased from and had shipped to me direct from Kerry Woolen Mills in Killarney, Ireland. I love that blanket. When I picked it up from the laundry on 17 March it was packaged in a nice clear plastic bag. I took it home in that condition. About me: I am just short of eighty years old and have several lifetime diseases (diabetes, MG, etc.), so I did not open the package until the next day. I opened the package on the Saturday following, and put it on the bed. Two things were immediately1 obvious: It did not overhang the bed as it had. It is now approximately one foot shorter and slightly more narrower. Second, there are dark spots on the blanket that were not there before. As the cleaner closes early Saturdays, I took it to the cleaner on the following Monday where I was told that the blanket had not shrunk and the dark spots were pre-existing. I had been told (by the mill over a year earlier) that the blanket should be gently washed and dried flat. I could have washed the blanket, but flat drying is beyond my capabilities, ergo the professional cleaning. The cleaner is denying any failure on their part, that the spots were pre-existing, and that the blanket is for a smaller bed. Kerry Woolen Mills keeps records, I did have the size which I had stated (order 259xx, 19 Jan. '23) I am out the cleaning (?) bill which they have not even offered to refund, the price of a new blanket €109 plus shipping €55 ($177.43) two years ago, and approximately $35 cleaning fee.     I had a very disappointing experience with Fabricare on Parkway. I dropped off 15 shirts to be…read morelaundered with starch, and they gave me a receipt confirming the request. However, when I went to pick them up, they told me that 5 of the shirts were linen and had been dry-cleaned instead--without notifying me or asking for my consent--and charged $8.50 each for it. When I explained that I never authorized dry-cleaning and asked why no one informed me, the manager was extremely rude and refused to take any responsibility. It took me three separate visits just to speak with the actual manager. They told me bluntly that I must either pay in full or leave the shirts behind. Their process is careless: they don't count your items upon drop-off, they don't inspect the garments properly, and they make decisions on how to clean your clothes without consulting you--then charge you extra for it. To make matters worse, the shirts were not cleaned properly, and although I requested full starch, it was clearly not done. They claimed they are too short-staffed to inspect clothes at the counter. That's not the customer's problem. If you're considering using Fabricare, be very clear about what you're agreeing to and confirm all charges beforehand. I will not be returning.

Don't use this company if you expect them to make anything right when they make a mistake! Buyer BEWARE! We had our sons baptism outfit cleaned and preserved in January of 2024, we got it back after a long time period and then when we went to go open it in November of 2025 for our newest son, there was a dress in there instead of his baptism outfit! We got a hold of the operations manager Tommy Riley and he stayed on a Tuesday that he would look into it further and has not gotten back to us a week and a half later!! I have called repeatedly and left messages and also texted him with no response! Now we have to file with the BBB to get our $160 dollars back and we will never have our sons blessed outfit back again!! RESPONSE: I have been an internal investigator for over a decade dealing with and recovering hundreds of thousands of dollars of money for companies through internal interviews and investigations. Would you be willing to allow me to walk through the process in person with you so that I can find the loophole someone used to swap out our boys item withal a dress?? I know you're saying there is no way it could happen, but it did and so therefore you are either calling me a liar or you're being naive to your own lack of controls throughout the entirety of the process. If a dress matching that one, that you now have possession of never came through your facility, then an employee involved in the process must've switched out the item for some reason, possible personal need, or something else. It is unbelievable to me that as a company of the community that you are more willing to believe your process is foolproof and accuse your customer of lying then to take care of the situation and figure out how to stop this from happening again. Please again, will you allow me to walk through the process used to do all of this so I can prove my point of where the breakdown could've occurred and we can understand each other better??

Wedding dress brought in and Had specific request written request to view the item before it got boxed up. My mother bought and paid for this dress and passed away before I got married so very sentimental. Upon dropping off, I was told the dress would be ready in one month and needed to be picked up at the main location. Waited a month and got a phone call that my dress was ready so I drove all the way down to the main location to find out that my dress not only wasn't there, but already was boxed up. Got the number for the manager Called the next day. She seemed very short and rude as she stated that. Yes they were well aware of it, but did not say anything after that. I asked her what could be done to correct this issue because I had to drive an hour out of my way the day prior and my dress wasn't there. She was really short with me and told me that they would unboxed it, and I could view it the next day, I asked if I would be charged double for the boxing fee since they had to do it twice and was told no. And I would have to wait an extra two days to pick it up. No apology was ever given, except by the original people that I dropped my dress off to when I picked up the dress, I was also charged more than what they told me originally so I have a feeling I may have been charged twice for boxing. For something as sentimental as a wedding dress, I would've assumed that a little more kindness would have taken place.
