After a brief wait, another masseuse came in and I was asked to turn over so that she could work on my back. Thinking they start off with the back and then finish with the front, I turned over. The back massage, which ended with a hot stone massage, was good. The reason for my 4 stars was not because of the quality of the massage (I enjoyed them and plan on returning) but because I was expecting a full body massage, not just a back massage - and I think that expectation/anticipation made it a bit disappointing for me. This place is great at what they do, but way too pushy in the middle of a pandemic where people are struggling financially.

Therapy Cottage is by appointment only, and they've been very prompt in returning calls after I've left a voicemail. The facility is easy to locate, though the suite itself is around the other side of the building where the UPS guy makes his deliveries. Upon walking in I noticed the comfortable waiting area, water dispenser, and basket of chocolate that I'd raid each time on my way out. Each treatment room is dim and quiet, well-appointed, and I've always felt very comfortable in there. Rachel put me on a heated table once, and it was so awesome I just wanted to sleep there. She has also heated towels to put under my neck during my treatments. Though I haven't been under the hands of the other therapists here, I've seen them once or twice and they seem like caring, nice people.
