Master Pro Installers - came through in the end. My previous review had been incredibly harsh due to MasterPro Installers dependence on their uber client Best Buy. My installation had been booked by Best Buy incorrectly. They sent the hauling team to my home before the installation team of the new item. My only communication was with the haul-away team not the appliance installation team and they had not understood the ridiculousness of the unreasonable order of the two teams. Needless to say, the dispatch called me to inform me of the installation teams near arrival, my cooktop was installed and the problem was with Best Buy and their customer scheduling. Master Pro installers did come in and complete my job thoroughly, on time (well after all the mix up,) and with professionalism. Other then the fact that they have challenges with sending out many teams without being able to thoroughly account for challenges like mine today, and that they do not give the customer any contact information for instantaneous communication. We bought a dishwasher through Costco and MasterPro was the installer. First, the two individuals who came to perform the installation did not speak any English so communication with them was impossible. Second, they force us to purchase a new airgap for $100 or they wouldn't install the dishwasher. Finally, once they had connected the water supply line, drain hose, and plugged it in the test run didn't work. "Defective" was the only English word he could say. I requested he call someone who could translate to tell us what the issue was. Someone at MasterPro called and explained the dishwasher was defective and for us to call Costco for an exchange. The installer wanted me to sign the installation order and I declined and he left. Afterwards, I detached the dishwasher checked the water supply line and drain hose. The drain hose was tangled against the water supply line preventing water from flowing. Once I untangled the lines I was successfully able to test the dishwasher and it worked perfectly. (My 649th Review) I need to start by saying there are many 5 star reviews for MasterPro. But if you check those out most of them are by accounts with less than 5 reviews, 0 friends, and 0 pictures, they are most likely fake accounts created by friends, relatives, or employees. Only trust reviews from legitimate accounts. We were so thrilled to be getting our new dishwasher from Costco. It was on sale and a great bargain. Costco Logistics informed us MasterPro would be doing the installation and they informed us of the time window they would be there to install, they showed up about 50 minutes after the window. One member of the crew spoke no english and the one that did speak english said it was his first day. They informed me a valve needed to be replaced, and they didn't have the part. At this point I was put on an employees phone with service manager David Reyes and was assured that I'd be a crews first appointment the next day with a window of 8am-10am. The crew left and we realized the crew had turned off our hot water! We tried to call MasterPro, I called and texted David Reyes multiple times, no answer. So we reached out to Costco Logistics and low and behold Felipe, the owner, calls me minutes later and promises a crew will be right out to fix the water, it took several hours, eating up an entire day off. The next day I'm up at 7:30am expecting the crew between 8:00 and 8:30am, cuz I'm the first appointment right? At 11am we called Costco Logistics as MasterPro doesn't have a phone number you can call and have someone pick up. (I have since learned extension 1100 will get you to a person/Andi). A crew showed up at 11:55am with the valve, but no knowledge of how to shut off the water. I try to help, but I'm not a plumber, the crew says they have to get to their next job, I say "ok just leave the dishwasher and the valve" they open the truck and they didn't even have the dishwasher with them! So now this has taken up my two days off and still now dishwasher! We then noticed a small wet spot underneath the sink. It turns out they had caused damage under our sink causing a tiny leak! So we brought in a professional plumber to replace the valve and fix the leak. Finally the following week after dealing with David, Felipe, Elena, and Andi from MasterPro our third team came out and were finally able to install the dishwasher! Takeaways: Bad Service, Poor Communication, Poorly trained crews and overall bad value. The only upside to losing 3+ days of our lives was that MasterPro paid us $300 for all the trouble. I'd rather have the time back. It shouldn't take multiple days to install a dishwasher! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! read more

UPDATE: A big thank you to Felipe for the quick reply here and Kessily for taking immediate action. She took our complaint seriously, launched an internal investigation, and called me the very next day to reimburse us. I'm updating this review because this is how good companies are run and they handled this situation superbly. One bad egg doesn't reflect on the whole company. -- The installers did a fine job with our dishwasher but stole a pair of AirPods Pro. We made the mistake of leaving them right above where the dishwasher was to be installed. Fortunately, we have Find My and were able to track it to exactly where the thief lives, and even went in person to physically confirm it is there with the proximity detection. We have contacted the police and will also be filing complaints with MasterPro and Costco. If anyone at MasterPro is reading this, please contact me. read more

I don't know how this company has 5 star reviews. I purchased a dishwasher from Costco and they came out and spent 5 minutes and my house and told me the dishwasher wouldn't fit. The dimensions were the same as the existing dishwasher. I tried calling and emailing NUMEROUS times with no response. HORRIBLE customer service. I had to call Costco to finally get a second appointment and no one ever showed up. Ended up returning dishwasher. Such a waste of my time. This company is a joke. read more

Henry and James were excellent. They came to replace a DOA unit and were very understanding and patient with us even though they knew the defective unit was not their fault. Two months in between Henry's visits and both were timely and efficient. He stayed back just to try and figure out the controls of the DOA unit. Luckily the replacement worked and he installed it quickly and made sure it was functional prior to leave. If I need any more installations I will be requesting Henry from MasterPros. read more

After waiting nearly 6 months for our dishwasher (nothing to do with Masterpro ) the day finally arrived when the install was supposed to happen. I happened to have an early morning appointment on the very same and was running a bit behind schedule which Felipe was able to accomodate for and he waited outside for me to show up and did explain his wait time policy on the call. Once in, he did a great job in taking out the existing dishwasher , cleaning the area and hauling it to his truck with his crew. The new dishwasher was installed in no time and he took great care in setting it up and as well doing a pre and post clean of the area. Walked me through the bells and whistles and as well handed over the guide et al and made sure i felt comfortable with the product before leaving. Great customer service and very punctual with time and execution of the job. Way to go Felipe and co!!! read more

Our experience was frustrating, exasperating, and just downright awful. Our kitchen is smaller than the average kitchen and so the dishwasher is not parallel with the sink. Holes needed to be cut for the hoses. Both teams of installers didn't have any of the hoses that were supposed to be installed. I was told by Refarl that the hose kit was available for me to get at Home Depot. I looked up the kit on their website and it was not anything they had. I also realized that the installer had broken one of the water lines and water was running out all over the kitchen. I tried calling them to explain what I wanted from them, but got totally ignored. I had to install it myself. I would not recommend this company. read more

These guys were a lifesaver. After waiting months for our new appliances to arrive, the installer recommend by Friedman's appliance had a meltdown when he arrived to our home to install our last two devices - range hood and a Bosch dishwasher. Long story short, the original installation company who showed up was unprofessional and unprepared. They told me the dishwasher we purchased wasn't going to fit and sent us down a rabbit hole to look for an alternative. In a last ditch effort to get our project completed I reached out to these guys and they gave me a quote via text message and were here two days later to install. They arrived promptly with the proper tools and materials and within two hours has completed the installation of our dishwasher. We were so relieved and I will be using these guys only for further installation jobs.
