I used this company in connection with my Costco delivery. I first received a call from the technician that he is 10 min away from the home to install the dishwasher. I said great, I will let my tenant know. I then get a call from an associate maybe name "Richard" from Master Pro stating that I did not pick up the phone when the technician called therefore they are cancelling my delivery, which I waited for 1 week. I said, I spoke to your technician, therefore, this is a lie and you are not delivering my dishwasher arbitrarily? Next he confirmed the address on my order and there was a typo in the address, however, it was on the same block so I asked to deliver the dishwasher anyway because it is on the same block as the address they have. He continued to tell me that based on Costco policy, they are able to deliver the dishwasher to a different address. I then said, call Costco and let's fix the address while your technicians are there. Instead of doing this he hung up the call on me. I later got a call from Costco to fix the address. MasterPro's technicians went back to the home to install the dishwasher and in 5 min left again refusing to put it in. It took 2 hours of my time to unravel this mess. Never use MasterPro unless you want a fiasco on your hands. read more

If I could give MasterPro LESS than one star, I would. The company messed up our booking to install our microwave THREE times. When The guy finally showed up at the absolute last minute, he took one look at our formica backsplash and announced that he couldn't install on that. When we pushed him, he left the room to supposedly call his supervisor. When he came back, he said he could install it but he would require us to sign a paper permitting him to do it, that the installation would destroy the backsplash, AND that he would charge us for his troubles, especially since we were his last appointment of the day. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, he announced that he was leaving and would have Costco send someone else. I am absolutely disgusted by this company and their terrible customer service. Do NOT waste your time with them. read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!! Purchased dishwasher from Costco and this joke of a company came to try and install my dishwasher and not only did NOT know how to install it they BROKE MY COUNTER TOP AND THAN TRIED TO SAY IT WAS ALREADY BROKEN. they barely spoke any English very hard to communicate with them. I asked the main installer (mario)to let me speak to his boss and he refused. They left the new dishwasher that did not work in the middle of the living room. Packed up there stuff and left leaving garbage outside in the street. Looking at previous reviews it is MORE THAN OBVIOUS the good reviews ARE FAKE accounts. **COSTCO CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ** TLDR: MasterPro is unreliable, but Costco will allow you to find your own installer/handyman and get reimbursed up to $200 for the install/haul away service. MasterPro was the only option to get my over the range microwave from Costco installed, but they never called to schedule an installation and I had to reach out via phone, email text. They finally responded after multiple attempts to arrive on a date, but did not provide a time. I followed up with them to confirm time and then got promptly ignored. When the day arrived they never showed up and no calls to communicate the change was attempted. Costco also attempted to reach out to them on my behalf and got ignored as well. I finally asked for other alternative and Costco was willing to reimburse me up to $200 for my option of reliable installers within the area and I just need to submit the invoice for reimbursement. I want other yelpers to be aware that they are other options to get your appliance reliably installed without pulling your hair dealing with MasterPro. read more

Frustrated doesn't even begin to describe our experience with trying to get an island range hood and blower installed. We purchased these appliances through Best Buy and paid for installation, hoping to have professionals handle the job. Best Buy contracts MasterPro as a third-party installer for certain appliances. However, MasterPro has come to our home four times, each visit only offering an explanation for why they couldn't complete the installation. First attempt: A 2 man crew arrives, open the box to find that there is a dent in the hood. Callup BestBuy to send a new one take notes and leave. During this visit we clearly show them the site in the kitchen where it needs to be installed and get a confirmation that everything is in place, the brackets, the duct, the power supply to finish the task. Second attempt: A two-man team arrives, inspects the replacement hood sent by Best Buy, and quickly realize that since it needs to be flushed with the ceiling, they require a team of four to complete the installation--two to hold the vent from below and two to go into the attic to secure and install it. They take notes and leave. Third attempt: Once again, a new two-man team arrives, inspects the situation, and informs us that they need four people to complete the task. This time, they blame Best Buy for not clearly communicating this requirement and lecture us about the need to make calls and send emails two days in advance to ensure that MasterPro sends a team of four to finish the job. Fourth attempt: Two days before the scheduled service, we contact both MasterPro and Best Buy to confirm that they are sending four men to complete the job, and we are assured that everything is taken care of. The day before the service, we exchange emails with MasterPro, who inform us that three senior technicians, experienced in similar installations, will be sent. However, when the three-man team arrives, they explain that MasterPro is not licensed to access the attic to complete the installation. They call Best Buy, make some notes, and then leave. NOT LICENSED TO ACCESS THE ATTIC should be informed during the first attempt. Clearly there is some business tactic at play here. Is BestBuy at fault or MasterPro is irrelevant for a customer. I really hope this review helps the management at MasterPro to look into the real issue and fix it and save the customers from false hopes that the task would be done. This has been going on for past 1 month and we are really concerned cooking in a kitchen without a proper vent installed. read more

MasterPro delivered my refrigerator and washer/dryer to our third floor up 35 stairs quickly and without any issues. They fulfilled my order through COSTCO.COM. MasterPro emailed me the same day that I placed my order and asked for delivery details. The night before the scheduled delivery date, I received an email and a phone call with a 2 hour window. Day of the delivery, MasterPro unboxed and carried the appliances up all of those stairs without any complaints and were very friendly! read more

Master Pro Installers - came through in the end. My previous review had been incredibly harsh due to MasterPro Installers dependence on their uber client Best Buy. My installation had been booked by Best Buy incorrectly. They sent the hauling team to my home before the installation team of the new item. My only communication was with the haul-away team not the appliance installation team and they had not understood the ridiculousness of the unreasonable order of the two teams. Needless to say, the dispatch called me to inform me of the installation teams near arrival, my cooktop was installed and the problem was with Best Buy and their customer scheduling. Master Pro installers did come in and complete my job thoroughly, on time (well after all the mix up,) and with professionalism. Other then the fact that they have challenges with sending out many teams without being able to thoroughly account for challenges like mine today, and that they do not give the customer any contact information for instantaneous communication.
