Before taking my brand new Tesla Model Y to Slipstream to to get a ceramic coating, I took it on a…read moreroad trip, and returned with it covered with bugs. I asked if I should wash it first, and Bryan said not to worry. Most of the car came out exceptionally well, however, there were still bug stains under the ceramic coating on the front valance, two quarter panels, and the hood. Under certain lighting conditions, it wasn't visible, however, under the right light it just looked dirty. Bryan told me it would need to be repainted to completely get rid of the stains, and offered to "dig into the paint more" but only if I signed waver not holding him responsible if the paint was damaged. While I believe Bryan is passionate about cars, and completely capable of doing excellent work, I feel that going forward I need to invest in a relationship with someone who will take responsibility for mistakes. I ended up taking it to Xpel, where they corrected the problem, and returned it next day looking tip top. The tech there even seemed sympathetic to Bryans predicament, saying it was probably just bad light, and I agree. I think Bryan is a nice guy, and does good work, it's unfortunate that this happened. I fully believe he would have been capable of fixing the problem as well, had he offered to take a look at the situation, and given the opportunity to correct the mistakes. Best wishes to him.
