I had to remake a whole entire bed in one of the rooms because it was covered in animal hair so there was no double check or cleanliness check. I don't think in that room. It was totally obvious as soon as I started to rearrange the pillows on the bed I noticed all the dog hair all over and I had to rewash my sheets. They did bring sheets to us later, but still that's not what I wanted to do as soon as I already paid a $30 fee to get us in one hour earlier, which I've never really heard of and if you rent Airbnb from him, mom and Pop, then I don't think that they would've done that either. It's all about money to corporation so if you want to not experience a personal stay, do not stay with Meredith lodging

We booked this property specifically because it advertised amenities that would allow our family to…read morerelax and enjoy our stay. After booking, we were informed of a strict 10:00 PM hot tub curfew that was not clearly disclosed in the listing prior to payment. When we reached out for clarification, the response from the host was dismissive and unwilling to work toward any reasonable compromise or resolution. To be clear, our family was not looking to host parties or be disruptive. We simply wanted to enjoy the hot tub quietly after spending the day caring for toddlers and family activities. Responsible adults should not automatically be treated as if they are going to create problems. What made the experience even more frustrating was the inconsistent explanation provided afterward. We were told the hot tub was for "day use only," yet nowhere in the listing did it clearly define specific usage hours before booking. Had these restrictions been clearly and transparently disclosed upfront, we would have chosen a different property that better fit our family's needs. Customer service and clear communication matter, especially when families are spending significant money on accommodations. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling misled and disappointed.

After this unexpected remodel and damage was exposed we had a delay of several months to get on their schedule. When the project date arrived, they showed up on time, cleaned well after the demolition/addition of interior floors to allow drainage and a sump-pump. My original review (4 star due to not adjusting the cost when less product was used) they owned the mistake and recognized their communication gaps. I do appreciate that attention and feel more confident in the company. I look forward to many years of DRY basement/master bedroom living.

Living in a 30-year-old home for the past two decades we've had several phases of upgrades, but one…read morething has always been absent from a 10x10 slab on our back porch: a hot tub. So, this summer, we decided to move forward with the plan to be "soakin' for the holidays" three months away. The only thing standing in the way of that dream: the slab and its neighbor had sunk a few extra degrees, roughly three inches, at the far edge. We were going to need to shore up and permanently stabilize this slab if our hopes of the (3-ton when filled) tub were going to materialize. I made a quick call to Terra Firma and they had an estimator out within a few days. The pricing was reasonable and had the standard 50% up front 50% when complete-type contract. Casey arrived spot-on at 8:00am yesterday morning and began doing his magic (the process involves boring 1/2" holes through the slab, then using high pressure and heat to inject a molten expanding foam under the slab.) The foam is rated to support about 5 tons (10,000 pounds) per pound of foam material, and....100 pounds later that whole slab is back to following the prescribed slope perfectly, raising almost three inches on the sunken side. He did a great job and was a great rep for the company, explaining what little was left to explain. He kept me up on the status of the (4-hour) job as he went along--because our slabs had previously cracked, he had to gently lift it up in small sections so as to not have the sections separate further. Perfect job. 24 hours later and the patched holes have dried to almost-invisible (see photos). Unless you know what you're looking for, you can't even really see that repairs were made. Now I just need to fill in the pre-existing cracks with concrete patching caulk and we're ready to schedule the hot tub delivery! Yippee! Thanks Terra Firma!

I will follow up once the product is installed in 8-12 weeks (9 windows). First of all, Jay (Jermaine) is an incredible sales person and knows the product very well. You will be lucky enough to work with him if you are in the East Portland/surrounding areas - or maybe you can request him! Jay was very respectful, removing shoes when entering the house, asking for consent when re-entering our home, and truly listened to my concerns regarding windows that need to be replaced immediately versus what would be "nice to have". There are mold/mildew issues with our current Cascade windows and he took that issue very seriously. He prepared not one but TWO quotes for me, according to the 5 windows needed vs 9 windows wanted. The window samples themselves are pretty great! I did research ahead of calling companies for estimates and was looking for key features: an exterior frame tilt to move water away from the house, more efficient weep holes for drainage, better heat retention in winter/heat shielding in winter (efficiency saves $$$!), and tilting or removable frames for easy cleaning. The Glasswing windows sold by DeBella have all of these features and the frames genuinely look nice. I like that the spacer between the glass is the same material used in aeronautics, rather than metal spacers - those are the current bane of my existence in my moulding windows. I need a mixture of picture, double-hung, and sliding/gliding windows and the latter two styles both have tilt and/or frame removal for ease of cleaning, exactly what I need on a tall two-story home. There are also built in stoppers in the frames to hold the windows open for ventilation. That's a great feature for those with cats or young persons in the house, without having to add superficial stoppers. (We currently have these on all sliding windows and they are both ugly and annoying). The window section we reviewed was the triple glass model (aka investment), though we are purchasing the double glass model - so hopefully the vinyl features are as nice when I check them out pre-installation. I'll follow up if the products have issues. Jay has answered SO MANY questions over the last 1.5-2 weeks while we sorted final details. He has been patient, kind, knowledgable and if he DIDN'T have the rare answer to my question he researched it and got back in touch with me quickly. Jay also worked with his General Manager to ensure that we were able to order all 9 windows within our budget range. Honest moment - I had a representative from Renewal by Anderson visit and run an estimate for our windows as well. While I love the Fibrex material and might have preferred it over vinyl, the ADDITIONAL $10k+ put it out of my current budget. The RbA sales person was also rather pushy, definitely in the "sleazy car salesman" mode, and was not open to discussing other lenders on their forced high finance charge. The windows also lacked features that I love about the Glasswing windows, namely the ability to tilt or remove the glass for easy cleaning from the sliding windows. When MOST of my windows will be sliding/gliding windows, that really killed my interest. I would also have to install those ugly ventilation stoppers again on MUCH more expensive windows. Overall, I prefer the commitment to customer satisfaction and ability to provide a product that fits my needs that DaBella is has provided thus far. 4 stars awarded because I DID face challenges with the initial customer service at the DaBella call center. We scheduled an appointment, they cancelled it on the day of with no reasoning but I rescheduled - then THAT got rescheduled and I nearly didn't accept another appointment. The final gentleman who called me to help schedule the appointment was VERY good at his job and convinced me to set a new time. Thank goodness he did - and Jay delivered.

First it was $39k, I say no, they come back 30 min later, "oh wait, now it's $23k" Am i bargaining for a tourist trinket on a tropical vacation? Does this work on other people? Night and day difference with the smaller family companies I've met since who are seasoned, professional, deeply knowledgeable, and give accurate pricing for the job. Oh and then there is the constant sales follow ups from the Texas office? Three times a day from various people trying to sell me windows, doors, siding, etc Comedy I've said im not interested and they keep calling I'm not even mad, it's truly hilarious how bad the Da Bella sales process is. It obviously works on people or they wouldn't be in business, but goodness Laugh out loud experience with Da Bella. And everyone I've met just talks so much crap on these guys too.
