Along with a full repaint, there were a number of small to medium maintenance things that needed doing, re surfacing the interior ceiling with new cloth, fixing some minor body issues, polishing and clearing up my head lamps. If we accept that as a society, then we might as well assign every customer a number rather than ask for their name. Caliber Collision did just the opposite. I pulled up and didn't notice the sign that read they were only seeing vehicles by appointment. I apologized to the front office and explained my new Yukon was side swapped by someone's shopping cart last week in the wind. She called R.J. to see if he wanted to look at it while I was there. He came out professionally, shook my hand and after looking at it he decided to try to buff out the scratches rather than repair them. He drove it around back for 1/2 an hour and when he returned, he smiled shook my hand and told me to have a great day. This place proves that you have still have great customer service in a world that's moving too fast and schedules that we're unintentionally making far too full. I will return with any needed repairs in the future, and I will be referring all of my family members, friends and community to Caliber Collision. During my initial visit in July, I noticed that other guests were greeted warmly upon arrival, while I was not acknowledged. That may seem minor, but it speaks volumes about customer care. Additionally, my car was returned with a small gap in the bodywork. When I inquired about it, I was told that it was "the best that could be done," which did not instill confidence. My second encounter occurred less than six months later,the insurance company referred me again to Caliber Collision - Waxahachie. This time, communication issues and tone were the problem. Staff members were contacting my spouse instead of me, and when I called regarding a missed appointment, I was scolded rather than helped. I explained that I would come in that same day, but upon arrival, I waited 27 minutes despite there being no other customers. When it came time to discuss payment, I was quoted $600 instead of the $250 deductible. The representative responded very harshly when I asked about the difference. At that point, I decided to take my business elsewhere. This location could greatly benefit from improved customer service, communication, and consistency in pricing.
