I went in to get an estimate for body work. Instead of speaking with a salesman I spoke with Jim who is a technician. He offered two options. The work was perfect I could not see that there was any damage Jim was kind enough to sent Chad over to pick me up when the car was repaired. Removal of dents. The gentleman who assisted me advised me to not spend the money on dents and just drive the car until it runs out of steam so to speak. We brought our single-family Honda into this shop about 3 weeks ago. Not only did Master Touch take the time to assess the damage upon arrival, the Progressive adjuster happened to also be on hand and assessed the damage. Although it took a little longer than expected due insurance requirements, the owner, Jim, of Master Touch Auto coordinated with Progressive to complete our vehicle, restoring it to it's previous pristine condition. Additionally, the mirror and alignment was to be sent out to Honda to perform, contributing to costs which were not on the original insurance's estimate. Jim again stepped up, coordinating with Honda and Progressive to ensure we had a seamless experience. It is obvious that your business takes it's lead from you, Jim. I originally wrote a post on January 31 2020. The post stated that I was sure Master Touch as a business did a great. Their employee Chad took a job to paint the bags and fairing on my Harley Davidson. He kept my bike for 90 days. He created lie after lie of why the bike hadn't been painted. He was paid in full before the work was done. Chad offered to custom paint my entire bike because he had it so long. I informed him that I needed my bike by January 31, 2020. I wanted a spray out to ok the colors before my bike was painted. On Monday January 27, 2020, I sent Chad a final notice that I would pick my bike up on the 31st of January. Upon picking up my bike which was at another shop, I noticed that the bags had not been installed on the bike, they were painted on color not the 2 tone we agreed upon and the fairing wasn't painted at all. I told Chad I was not happy with this and he called the Police. I waited for the Police and they told Chad to release my bike and told me it is now a civil matter. The evening of January 31st, I received a message on Facebook Messenger from a Rae Valerio the owner of the shop where I picked my motorcycle up He stated that Chad didn't know he was contacting me. Rae than asked me to take the post down because he helped Master Touch set up their google and to indirectly slander them wasn't fair. I informed him that everyone needs to know what type of person Chad is and I can't consciously allow this to happen to someone else. Regrettably I took it down but I was curious to why I didn't hear directly from the owners of the company and put the post back up. On Thursday February 20, 2020, I received an irate call from Jimmy who stated that he was the owner of Master Touch. He said I better take my post down or he would have his lawyer contact me. We began to talk and I explained to Jimmy what the issue was. That I thought it was important for him to know exactly what type of person he had working for him. That Chad had taken a job, didn't complete it, refused to return some of my money and called the police. Jimmy stated that as far as he knew the bike was done. I went on to tell him how long the bike was in Chad's posession and that Chad said he couldn't paint the bike at the shop because the last bike Jimmy took all the money. Jimmy told me that he doesn't allow side jobs and Chad had never asked to paint my bike there at Master Touch. I told him that I had several text messages from Chad in regards to this situation. I also told him I was surprised it took so long for him to contact me. I told him about Rae Valerio saying he managed their google and Jimmy stated that that wasn't true. That infact a silent partner looks at their Google and was very upset with my post. He also stated that he was almost afraid to go home because his wife was also upset. Jimmy said to me, "First things first, take the post down. I will have Chad make this right and paint your fairing for you with a week but not at this shop." He also asked for me to send him the text communications that I had between Chad and myself. I told him that the conversation started in July of 2019 and I had hundreds of texts messages and pictures. Jimmy asked me to send the ones that I thought were the most important. I sent him several messages and pictures that night. I sent a text to Jimmy on Friday February 1 to see if he had received the messages. He responded that he infact had, but hadn't gone through them yet and would call me the next day. It is now over 7 days later and I haven't received a call from Jimmy nor has my fairing been painted by Chad. This goes to show what kind of individual works there and who employs them. Highly recommend getting your auto body repairs done anywhere else. We had two vehicles wrecked while parked in front of our home and the insurance company recommended this shop and it's unclear why. One of our vehicles was not going to be fixed by them but needed a new wheel put on it in order to drive it away from their lot. They then spent two weeks telling us they would put a wheel on it and when they finally said they did (2 weeks after the wreck) we show up to take the truck and they hadn't even touched the truck yet. So we then sat there for 2 hours while they changed a tire. (I offered to do it myself but they wouldn't allow it because of safety risks) They then agreed to not charge a storage fee which seemed logical since they took their time doing their part so that we could take the vehicle off their lot. Well come to find out today they did charge me $430 for storage fees on the truck. As for the second vehicle, they undershot the estimate by $4000 (33% of the final bill) and I believe this was done because they knew it would be totaled otherwise, and they wanted to make a few bucks off it. They also quoted 3 weeks repair time, which they ended up taking 11 weeks to do. Not only that but around week 7 they quoted one more week until they were done. They did this each week for the next 4 weeks. When they finally finished the vehicle, they left a part off from the wheel well which we ended up having a car dealership install. They all will act nice and caring in person but beware of their deceit and dishonesty. They blatantly lied to us on numerous occasions which not only says something about their character but makes me wonder about the quality of repair work they do. Taking their time allowing me to remove my vehicle from their lot, telling me they wouldn't charge storage fees, and then charging me $430 for it feels a lot like theft also. Take your car elsewhere!! read more
