My family and I always come here for our routinely check ups. One time I had a tiny rock get stuck between my brake pad and my rotor that caused my plate to bend and make a horrible sound. They looked into it and fixed without any charge, so glad it wasn't anything big nor did they charge me anything for something as simple as that. I've also come here for an occasional larger job. Like an engine rebuild. Go me. They tell me what my options are, what is priority, and keep my budget in mind. If they say I need it, I need it. There have been a few occasions where someone gives me tips and sends me off on my merry way where some other shop might have seen it as an opportunity to charge me. Well, Souk at Master Tech found the engine trouble for $250. We found an honest and fair mechanic! Souk has saved us thousands over the years and he looks at our prospects before we buy. I used to take my Nissan 300ZX to Souk in the early 90's before he decided to venture on his own and open Master Tech. My car ran like a top and unfortunately died when I moved back east in 2001. The car had more than two-hundred and thirty thousand miles on it and a mechanic in N.Y. wanted a astronomical figure, which I could not afford, to get it running again. Sadly, I got rid of it. And I LOVED that car. Had I stayed in Cali, I know Souk would've had that car running perfectly to this day. I've recommended Souk to all my friends and afterwards they wouldn't take their car anywhere else! At his shop, I've met folks that drove from considerable distances just to have his place work on their car. It's the next best thing to having a dealership, that would probably charge you an arm and a leg, do the work and probably bill you for a few unneeded extras. And the quality of the work is better than what you get at a dealership because Master Tech has ASE certified mechanics.
