Awful! They are known to attempt to intimidate and silence customers…read more I used them back in 2024 to replace service lines to the house. I found out months later that one of the technicians helping the plumber replaced an outdoor circuit breaker with a fuse box, which destroyed my HVAC system and took out the electrical system to my house. They did not supply an invoice until I took them through the state contractor board. They refused to provide proof of insurance after I asked them to when the plumber's helper hit my deck with an excavator and was WITHIN INCHES OF HITTING ME WITH THE BUCKET OF THE EXCAVATOR. I later obtained proof of insurance along with their complete license file from the state since they refused to supply this. They also refused me service but did not state why until I filed a complaint with the state. They made materially false statements, stating that I approached their plumber in a ghillie suit while brandishing a firearm, which is 100% untrue. They also advertise and contract under a name they are not licensed under. Stateline Services IS THE SAME ENTITY AS HVAC, Inc., per the TN SOS Entity Search. This company has REFUSED to compensate me for the damages done to my property. I also located evidence through public records that suggest a pattern of corrupt activity. Law enforcement was notified and I plan to take them through state and Federal court sometime this year for many causes of action. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR SAFETY AND PEACE OF MIND! There are other contractors out there who give a damn about their customers and doing decent work. ............................ 05/12/2026: We are aware that the organization is aggressive on web surveillance and reputation management. This is evidenced by their publicly available front-end source code. They can continue to "strongly dispute" and embed all of the threats that they wish within their responses. This is nothing new. As of date, we have not been in receipt of any civil or criminal complaint. However, this organization has been sent to collections for the debt that they presently owe. They have also been charged a $50/day waste disposal/employee littering fee due to the trash that was left, later located, and disposed of, which consisted of cut PEX-B piping and cut electrical wiring containing red sheathing that matches the wire that was used for the fuse box placement that was not within the scope of work agreed to. The organization should be receiving the littering invoice sometime this week. The regulatory board legal staff stated that the property damage that occurred secondary to the overt breach of contract was within jurisdiction of a court, which is why no action could be taken against their license for what occurred. Legal counsel has been retained with regard to this matter and no further statements will be made at this time.

All their crew (shout out to Justin, Sam, Kenny, Delmus and Todd, etc) are absolute professionals who do impeccable work and communicate clearly at all times. The owners, Zac and Brittany are also fantastic. Again, communication was clear and all our dealings were completely transparent and fair. We'd choose them again for any future projects and they will certainly be our first call when we're looking for a contractor.

We thought we were getting anderson windows after we asked WHT type windows we are getting before signing the contract because the quote had parts and labor lumped into one price. We went from anderson windows from Lowes to united windows from lowes(came in broke) to American Craftsman window (aka plygem) from home depot. Plygem has a BBB rating F and Forbes rates them a 3 out of 5. At any time we're we notified of the change untill I did some research on the installed windows and received a small credit on the difference. Out repair went on for 3 months and the communications with the office manager was really poor. On 3 occasions we phoned her for status reports on parts, appts etc and she was going to call someone and get a call back. Not once did we receive a call back. The only communication we had was on july 3rd to schedule insallation on july 6th. All customer service is done by email, i was contesting the invoice because of the window price difference ( anderson window to plygem windows) a phone call to discuss the issues would have been appreciated. This compan was $70 higher than window world but we like to use local companies when available so we paid the difference. 3 stars for the installers 0 stars for the owner and office mgr
