I've used them twice , fence post holes both 4x4 & 6x6 as well as sono tubes ..No complaints, we have a nice fence now 8 yrs old and a great deck .. And Aimee is very nice to deal with. A recommendation from me. read more

The worst experience you could possibly have. This company is run by people who lack the organization and the to be of any help to your project. I was in contact with Aimie many times over a two week period she advised me that my job would start on a Thursday at 6:30am, on Wednesday evening at approximately 9:45pm I received a call from Dom (the owner) who without just getting to the point that he wasn't coming made every excuse he could have as to why he didn't want to be doing my job. He started by explaining to me that the way that the inspector had advised me to have the holes dug is the wrong way and that he would not work with an inspector who did things this way. (I actually think he is just such a shorty worker that he didn't want to have to work around an inspector period) This man and his circus of clowns ruined my entire plan for my deck project as I have already had the wood delivered carried to my back yard and have planned for a inspector to have come to look at the project and for my tradesmen to come commence work on Saturday. I now am stuck to try to sort out this mess in the 11th hour as I have been screwed by this mans company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST HE AND HIS ENTIRE OPERATION ARE A JOKE AND WILL MAKE YOU REGRET EVEN DEALING WITH HIM Read this and run!!!! read more

If i could put a NEGATIVE i would! We are planning on building our deck this weekend, and its all based around the work that Master Post Hole was supposed to do. After my husband took the day off work to wait for them to show up and dig the holes, no one came, no phone call, no email nothing. After a second email we sent and numerous phone calls i got the following response from Aimee: I'm not sure where they r nor am I phoning them.... There was an accident... So at the moment I don't care about post holes... I did feel really bad that there was an accident, but as a customer shouldn't we be eligable for at least a phone call to let us know that something has come up? if i were you i would NOT use this comapny, as you clearly can not rely on them. read more

Like other reviews here had a bad experience. Booked 2 months in advance, followed their list to the letter, had everything ready for day of project. They had reccomended to use master halco postmaster posts, said they were great steel posts they had worked with before. Night before install Aimee the office person emailed saying they wouldn't be there until late morning. Fine by me but I have to leave for work at 11am and would leave instructions eg: sprinkler system shut off please note any holes that cut a tube so I can repair later, also site survey showing gate location etc. This was all marked clearly with spray paint and stakes etc. I give these to 1 guy who arrived early before leaving for work. On my way into work I get a call unknown number to me no idea who it is, me: "hello" him: "what the hell is this?" Ya you guessed, post guy apparently didn't like my instructions, said they wouldn't do the job if I wasn't there to show them where everything went(apparently you need to hold their hand while they work) I said it's all clearly marked etc, nope told rebook or find someone else and he hangs up on me, was very rude, unprofessional and blamed me for not being there. I pull over call their office, she just spoke to him and also blamed me saying I should have been there, giving attitude "everyone knows you have to be there when contractors come, that's obvious, we assumed you would understand that". After I remind her I had told her clearly I wouldn't be there and she had said it was ok and asked for my number she finally tried to be nice realizing she had actually made the error not me. Refused to continue the project for that day, rebooked me for the next week. I found someone else that same day, they came the day after and had no problem following the instructions to the letter, posts were perfect and cheaper. Save your money and time, these jokers are disorganized as*holes. read more

This is an awful company. OVER PROMISE and under deliver. I requested services last year and they did a no show three times. Hired another company to do the job for me. This year I thought, I will get in on the action early spring. Spoke to Aimee. She arranged everything again. Over promised and under delivered. I called endlessly with no response back. I scheduled a small job of 8 post holes. After several emails and confusion on which date, they didn't even show up. They refuse to respond to my emails and phone calls to follow up as to what happened. Either they're out of business or on their way if this is how they treat customers. Very unprofessional and such a waste of my time. read more

Do NOT use this company! I have never experienced such horrible customer service. We had them booked to come and they cancelled and rebooked for the next day. The next day, they just plain didn't show up. They didn't even have the courtesy to call with an explanation or to rebook. We tried to call them (don't even bother to email as their inbox is perpetually full) all you get is voice mail, which, surprise, they don't answer. Do not waste your precious time. Go somewhere else and save yourself the aggravation. read more

It didn't start well with him not showing up for our initial visit and coming two days later. Throughout the course of our short relationship Alex repeatedly ignored my requests for service and salting and occasionally sending a sub contractor (twice) who cleared snow and didn't salt. The final straw came when he said the property had been serviced by a subcontractor and upon my arrival on site it had not. I called and he said he would be out that day. He did not come out. When I messaged him the next day he lied and said he actually had been out and the property didn't require service. I live in the snow belt, I can assure you the property did need service. At that moment, I cancelled the contract, requested a prorated refund for the remainder of the year (which he had demanded be paid in full upfront). I have not heard from him since. Do not hire.

Crew asked for a review... my pleasure...Had issues finding a post hole company in my area. Called several contractors had a no show called these guys and Amy was very helpful on the phone answering my questions since my first time building a fence. She explained locates and she looked after the process. The crew came in the afternoon set a couple of lines of posts and every post was set straight. The cleaned the concrete mess and swept our driveway. The price was avearage in the area (6x6 around 33 and they charged extra for a couple of hand digs close to gas line) and we are just thankful someone showed up to set our posts. Same issues with roofing nobody comes when you call and set up an appointment! read more

This company is the true meaning of competent. When I had questions about my work the office manager Aimee was more than patient and helpful to ensure that every question I had was answered. When the crew came to install the posts I sat back absolutely amazed at the craftmanship that these guys displayed. Don the owner has been doing this a long time and it shows as it was second nature to him to align and set all of my post with precision and ease. Tried calling many companies was not sure if these guy would travel to our area! Looked at google online and they take in a large area. Was very pleased they take care of the locates and we did not have to worry about he locates at all. Was able to fit in our gate by removing the gate pin and had zero issues at all very pleased professional crew showed up in the morning set 25 posts. The owner gave advice for us building the fence line in the swale we have on the left side. We call next when we build a deck in the back for sono tubes and helping us out with our posts for a pergola. read more

Had Don and Mike out again drilling some more fence posts at my new home. They drilled 6x6 fence posts over twenty of them, we supplied the posts these guys have a Ford dump truck with all their concrete mixing material. The bobcat was small enough to fit in my side yard close to the air conditioner unit. Felt bad because the bobcat was full of mud. The guys set the posts and everything was lined up straight and we built on the posts the next day. Thanks to the office for helping me with some lumber suppliers we did use Styres and saved the tax. read more

Very impressed with the overall service , prices and quality of products. When I called to enquire Aimee was very friendly and did her best to establish exactly what we were looking for. Guys showed up at my place in Hagersville set 80 plus posts in 7 hours. We waited 8 weeks but well worth the wait. They called the locates in and carried our posts to the backyard with ease. Lumber was an issue they did refer us to Hamilton Builders Supply! The team cleaned up after they completed the posts we were able to start to build the following day. We will be using them for sono tube installation next year. They did help with some gates and their google reviews spot on! read more

These guys were amazing. They showed up within the timelines they provided us and finished the work quickly. The work done was well done...straight posts and even gave us recommendations on how to complete our job. Used them to set large number of post holes in Alton village. Have dealt with them for years when they were Perfect Post Hole franchise. Always friendly and the know the business well... Awesome Company, used these guys a few days back for sono tube installation for pier supports. Master Post Hole took care of the locates, we just had to provide the sono tubes and brackets! These guys did the rest! We called several post hole companies with zero call backs, Master Post Hole called back the same day, very knowledgable at the other end. I am a contractor that deals with Master Post and have for 5 years now. I am always impressed with their work and am not sure why there is a review below stating otherwise. I am not sure that he would he going on about inspected holes as Don the owner has a multitude of experience with my own inspected jobs. Referral from a friend. These guys look after locates the utility clearances. We needed sono tubes for a backyard deck. Had some minor delays due to locates behind and rain. Glad we waited they job was difficult because of our grading in the backyard. They leveled the tubes on the grade they dealt with the building inspector. Used these guys again for our deck and they did not disappoint! Call places Useless if they actual complete your job. Come on the one guy complaining these guys did not call him back. Seriously I waited 2 weeks for my central air unit they contractor said he would be at our place every day for 2 weeks. Annoying but the guy eventually came installed the unit no issues. read more
