Asked for the policy handbook and was told it was on the website but never got the membership password for the website. All in all there is a lot of miss information for this to be a professional company.

We have felt welcome since day 1 and it feels like a big family. The girls at the front desk are always so helpful and polite. BIG shout out to Miss Michelle, one of my daughter's hip hop instructors. She has always been so encouraging and I can tell she truly loves what she does and truly cares for the kids. I originally signed my daughter up at GDS because it was close to my rental house. We have since moved to the complete opposite side of town and I will continue to make the 35+ min drive because it is worth it. In her text conversations she was obscure and never clear in providing a confirmation. I found out why on April 1 when I was charged, because she never intended to go through with the cancellation for April. It's important to know that I enrolled my daughter early March and as I filled out the paperwork I told Georgina to wait on charging me the $150 enrollment and $150 monthly payment until I cleared that we would be able to Cancel the other place and that I'd have the funds. She kindly waited until I gave her the green light. At that time she said she knew the paperwork said 30 day cancellation, but as long as I told her 5 days before she could make arrangements. My daughter attended 2 days in March before Spring Break and the Social Distancing orders. Georgina said the policy is 30-days and because I only provided 2 weeks cancellation (the day we were told no more fencing) she said her accountant said she'd have to charge me April's $150 even though I won't be receiving any services. She said that members were doing online Zoom fencing classes. When we told Georgina we had not received any communication of those classes, she said she didn't have our information. We reminded her it was on in the contract with the 30-day cancellation policy. I have a friend whose child is a very good fencer. She warned me about this place, but because it was close to home I still enrolled my daughter here. My friend's reasoning was the quality of training...in the time we observed and trained there is a lot more strength training than fencing training. I was only there a short time so can't elaborate as much on the training. Our world is in a difficult time right now for everyone and I understand that is true for small businesses, but we all hope to get back to normalcy again and it's best that if you are a for-profit business and are going to charge someone you provide them a service. If it's a charity, then a Go Fund Me should be started. I asked her for her email so I could send her the small business information and application for assistance, but she didn't respond with her email. Let's treat each other with dignity and respect and do what's right to help each other through this difficult time.

Lisa is the most amazing instructor and it totally shows in every class, she shows you how to love and enjoy your body, everyone moves differently and we need to embrace our own "Inner Goddess" I now take classes with other VSF instructors at Smash Dance Studio in Leon Valley, I totally believe that if you want a fun night out, you ladies need to try at least one class. The owners story is interesting how she came from Vegas and ended up in SA. I have always wanted to try this class so I was more than happy to accompany my friend that evening. The class includes a welcoming drink which of course helps to loosen you up. Lots of ladies on the night we went. (Probably the coupon was getting ready to expire.) The class was easy and fun. I would go again and bring more friends. It really is a great way to spend a Girls Night Out!
