I am very pleased we found Master Lee's TKD. Signed my son up at our community fall festival event. At the time I had already enrolled him in Tiger Rock. He was only there for a couple of weeks. Both my husband and I work busy schedules so we needed more flexibility. At Tiger Rock, they offer up to 3 classes per week for the Tiger Cub program (my son is 4) and with our busy schedule we were only able to take him there maybe one or two classes per week. With Master Lee's TKD they offer up to 6 classes per week and with Master Lee himself there for most days for the teaching. Much more flexibility especially if you have a busy work schedule. At the time they had a promotion going on so was able to try my son out at Master Lee for basically nothing for the first 2 weeks with uniform included. So glad I made that decision. Both places you can sit and observe and just sitting in one class at Master Lee-I knew it was it! At Master Lee...they have an extremely supportive and encouraging staff. I am very pleased with Master Lee and all his instructors. They are all genuinely nice and you can tell they love our children and has lots of patience with them. They not only teach martial arts, but discipline, respect, and confidence. My son has been coming here for over a month now and already has shown more confidence, discipline, and respect both in class and at home. To top it off- he absolutely enjoys it! Every morning my son would ask "Mommy is Tae Kwon Do today?" Today I am a proud mama! My son has been working very hard learning his words, kicks, and punches. My daughter took Taekwondo in another state with an acceptional teacher for a year and a half; we loved her teacher. Since we moved to Katy 4 years ago, we've been looking for a good school to enroll her. We went to at least 8 places to sit in and observed; sadly, we did not find one that come close to what we were looking for. Two months ago, I stopped at Master Lee to observed the class, I was so impressed that I signed her up for the entire black belt program (2 1/2 yrs). Master Lee is everything we were looking for and more. Master Lee and his staff are caring, compassionate and discipline. The kids are require to listen, focus and do their best everyday. Before they can get promoted to the next belt, they need to earn their tip by mastering their form and practice self defense, read 5 books and have great attitude. The kids earn rewards for a job well done, no trophy for participation here... love it. He also encourages them to do their best at home by showing respect, appreciation, love & thanks, go above & beyond, cleanliness and to be responsible. His classes are so fun, the energy level is amazing and it's different everyday. My daughter insists on going 5 days a week because she enjoys it so much. Master Lee is a natural born teacher. Stand by for fun as all boundaries fall when you enter his school and he helps you find your inner greatness! My Daughter began her study with Master Lee at age 5. His guidance and inspirational skill as a Martial Artist brought many positive changes to her as she developed and learned the art, sport and way of thought that is Taekwondo. For my wife and I, seeing her earn and receive her Black Belt will always be one of the most cherished chapters of our lives. My 5 year old has been attending Master Lee's Taekwondo class at the Cinco Ranch location for 2 months now. There are many taekwondo classes in the Cinco Ranch and Katy area so we were not sure which one to join. Luckily, we decided to join Master Lee's class, and we do not regret it one bit. In just 2 months, my son has shown improvements in focus, concentration, and coordination. I can even see changes in his self-confidence. He enjoys it very much and always looks forward to going to class. Master Lee is obviously very skilled in his craft (I would expect that from any instructor). However, he has a real knack and skill in teaching, developing, and encouraging children. He is patient with the children and always finds ways to keep them engaged and having fun. Same goes for his staff and trainers. They are all great with the children, and the children enjoy being with Master Lee and his trainers. If you are looking for a taekwondo class, look no further. While there may be several martial arts schools to choose from this one is different. Master Lee is exceptional in so many ways. It was my plasure to work and train with him for several years. He has qualities that are hard to find. There are many people with martial arts skill, they may not be good at teaching. Master Lee is that rare blend of a skillled martial artist and exceptional teacher. His ability to reach students of all ages and athletic abilities combined with his careful attention set him apart. Knowing when to push and when to encourage, and always with respect and love. My family and I went to an introductory class at Master Lees Tae Kwon Do a few months ago and we honestly did not know what to expect. To our surprise, the kids loved it and so did my wife! Master Lee always keeps the workouts fun and challenging. Our family ranges in age from 11 to 56, and we love to go together. Master Lee encourages the children to read, respect and behave before they are allowed to test for their next belt. Master Lee and his instructors always have a smile and words of encouragement, even if you are having a bad day. It's a great workout, and I have lost 15 lbs training there. There are not many families there and we would like some company. Both of my kids have signed up to take Tae Kwon Do at Master Lees for their PE credits from Seven Lakes. read more

The best decision ever! I tried it once and am hooked! It is such a disciplined, and serious environment, yet so much fun to be a part of a great program. The respect and admiration everyone has for the young instructors is amazing...yesterday, the head instructor announced that one of the assistant instructors was leaving back to Korea as he was done for his internship. While I am fairly new and don't know anyone well, it made me sad to hear he would no longer be a part my adult class...I know others that knew him well, were very sad. There was a soft quietness about everyone that heard the news...he will be missed. Prayers for his safe return. It's a caring environment that can make anyone feel comfortable no matter what!!! We have been very pleased with Master Lee Tae Kwon Do! Master Lee and his instructors are very friendly and you can tell the really love the kids. My 10 year old son, Drake, has been attending for about 6 months now and has his green stripe. His confidence has increased and behavior and attention at school have improved a great deal since joining. I attribute this to the discipline and self-worth that the school instills in their students. The routines and activities are different for each class each week, keeping the content fresh and interesting, yet constantly building on skills they have learned. After shopping Arround from so many Taekwondo schools, and trying some of them Master Lee's World Chapion Taekwondo is the best one I can have my 2 boys (6 1/2 yr old and 3 1/2 yr old) involve. The masters are super nice and always so patience with all the kids. I like the fact that they have multiple ones helping every kids do their best each class. I see every child's smiling and having fun during the class. It amazes me how fast they learn terms in Korean. They kids stay focus during class and learn techniques. My 4 year old daughter has been coming here since October of 2017, and as already advanced 3 belts, counting and saying Korean terms. I love that fact that Master Lee and all of his instructors take their time and ensure that each child is grasping and fully understanding the technique.
