This is the single most unprofessional business I have ever set foot in. And I don't normally speak…read morein superlatives, so that's saying a lot. I've had my taxes done here for the last few years, and I am generally happy with the end result. However, the process of getting there has been fairly miserable. The front desk staff is nice enough, but the staff accountant with which I have made appointments has absolutely no regard for anyone else's time or sentiment. Today I had a 12:00 PM appointment, to which I arrived at 12:05 after getting lost and calling for directions. "He's at lunch," said the receptionist, apologetically. Ok. We sit down to wait. I'm not entirely surprised as I waited 40 minutes to see him last year, so we resolve to wait it out with magazines and Angry Birds. Problem is, at 1:00, he still had not returned from lunch. The receptionist again apologizes and gives me his card, suggesting I call his cell phone, the number of which is printed on the card. Not sure I wanted to go that route, I sat back down and continued to wait. 20 minutes later, I had lost whatever semblance of patience I had left. I called his cell and identified myself as his noon appointment. "Yeah?" he replied. "I'm just calling to make sure I'm going to be able to see you today," I said. "Yeah I'm finishing up at lunch," he said, clearly annoyed. I mean, how dare I interrupt his three mojito lunch with a polite phone call? Who do I think I am? In the meantime we strike up a conversation with the woman waiting beside us, who also had a noon appointment, but with another accountant. She has also been waiting an hour and a half for her "appointment." He casually meanders up at 1:45, and we sit down with him at 1:50. Yes, 1:50. Nearly two hours after our appointment time. I'm a bit heated, but I know the guy, so I try to joke about it, asking him how his lunch was and where he went. Not a glimmer of remorse or apology has been displayed, and worse, he shoots back with a nasty attitude that if I didn't like the way they do business, I could go somewhere else. Yes, he really said that. Needless to say, at this point I have been long resolved to take that advice, but here in April, I am forced to bite my tongue and give him my best stank eye in silent amazement. If he had even pretended to care a teeny little bit, I would have graciously forgiven him and moved on. This arrogant prick could give seminars in not giving a fuck, but at the end of the day I just feel sorry for him and the karma he must have. Bottom Line: A decent benefit to your wallet is not worth the disrespectful treatment you will receive at this unprofessional business.

I called several times to make my 88 year old father's car insurance payment, only to get a 'Please…read morecall back, I'm giving a quote', or 'I'm busy on the other line, can you call back'. This happened for a few days, and when I finally got thru someone to make the payment, they said his insurance lapsed at midnight that day. It's disappointing that during a pandemic, they are over working their employees and the customer ends up paying the price. Incredible that during distressed times like these, they will still take advantage of loyal customers!
