I was immediately greeted by the staff upon entering, who asked me about what I needed, and was kind enough to give me some advice on sewing machines. I found out that this location also sells pre-owned machines which is so nice to hear as someone who was thinking about purchasing a mid-ranged price machine in the future. I also took a look at their supplies (thread, scissors, fabric, etc.), and everything was well-priced! I had been browsing online for the same products that were either the same price or cheaper at Moore's. If I'm ever in need of supplies, I would trust Moore's to keep what I need in stock.

This most recent experience, however, was disappointing due to communication. Based on the information on their website about fast Direct to Film printing, I reached out ahead of time to confirm whether they could complete a small order of 8 shirts within two days. I also made it clear at the time of ordering that I had a flight scheduled for the morning after I would need the shirts by. I was told yes, emailed over my design promptly, and everything appeared to be on track. On the day the order was supposed to be ready, I received a call to collect payment and was told the shirts would be done before closing. When I hadn't received any update, I had to call that evening to follow up, at which point I was told the machine had "just broken" and there was no timeline for repair. The lack of proactive communication was the most frustrating part. Fortunately, I was able to find a business in Las Vegas that could accommodate the order on short notice, deliver high-quality shirts, and do so at over 30% less than my original quote. I've had good experiences here in the past, but clearer communication and earlier notice would have made a big difference in this disappointing situation.

Owner said it will be ready "midweek", he will call me when done. Thursday the following week no phone call so I called at 10:30. Owner said he was not at work (they open at 11) but he would call me when he got in with status of job. At 4:30, still no call, so I called again. He was a little put out that I had called and said he would take care of it immediately as it wasn't done. I told him I was running out of time and I needed it. He said come in tomorrow after 11. I went in at 3 PM on Friday, the charm was engraved, "48" on the front and "26" on the back not "2026" as the order stipulated. He also didn't give me a receipt when I dropped it off so I took a photo of the order which clearly said to engrave "2026" on the back. In his rush to finish the job, he failed to set the machine up correctly for the back. If I had my own business and was backlogged with work so bad that I had to give a 7 day lead time for a simple engraving job that would take 1/2 hour, I'm sure I'd be working more than 6 hours a day, 5 on Friday and not working at all on the weekends. So, in summary, if you want the owner to not call you when he said he would and engrave an expensive piece of jewelry incorrectly, he's your guy.
