Placed an order for pick up a 11:15 AM. The order was placed an hour in advanced; they didn't have the order ready till almost 11:40 AM. I like to support small businesses, but I'm not going to visit anymore due to the consistent lack of quality.

The space is reminiscent of grandma's kitchen. The counter is full of delicious homemade pies. The menu offers just about any pie your heart could possibly desire. I went with the classic apple crumb. This one will rank up high on my list of favorites. We added a slice of peach pie and a slice of coconut cream pie to round out the experience. The crust is flaky and tender. Fruit pies a filled with fruit and the cream pie was rich and creamy. The proprietor was very kind and helpful in making recommendations. Please note: you will definitely get what you pay for. The slices are about $10 each. Each pie is cut in 6 slices making a generous portion.

Every month or so I get this craving for their Oreo pie. It's so good! But here at this location (Waynesville) they don't give you the proper amount of portion for it being almost $9! I bought a WHOLE slice pie and it was so small! There's a whole and a half slice. If this was a whole I'm wondering what would be the half slice. A whole slice is $1 more than the half. I know there's inflation but this is just ridiculous! The Rolla one gives you the proper amount for the price. So I suggest skipping this and if you're in the Rolla area to go there. Plus, they have a full dinning area and they serve food as well :) To the slice of pie here in Waynesville, maybe train your employees better or have a pie size chart. Because it's always a different slice size every time I come one but this time was the smallest I got for it being a WHOLE! Anyways hope you don't lose business by scamming people ‍ *Covered up the name just in case it was the person that served me and I don't want their name out there.

Our family stopped here to actually grab lunch... not groceries. My sister said they have a…read morecafe/diner inside and we decided to give it a try. This review is for the cafe here and not for the grocery store: I was surprised with the number of options: diner foods (burgers, fries), Chinese, BBQ, fried chicken, etc. We got an orange chicken meal with fried rice and an egg roll for $5.99. I would bet the container weighed close to 2.5lbs. The food was good. We also got 2 chicken tenders for $4. The breading was very soft and the kids didn't even finish them. I also added 3 Icees to our order and paid around $15 total. Other people in our ground got fried chicken meals and burgers/fries. Staff were friendly. All in all, it was ok. It didn't knock my socks off but was ok for the money.

I just wanted to say that we shop there when we're in Rolla. Love the store. This review is not…read moreabout the grocery store part, just the dine in cafe part of the store. We was there on Friday Dec 19 around 3pm. We had never actually eaten in the store. Someone told us the burgers are good. So we decided to order. First off the boy who took our order wasn't very friendly, and acted like he would rather be anywhere but there helping us. After placing our order, we sat down in the eating area. I just want to say, we was shocked. We would've just left if we hadn't already paid for food. There was only 4 other people there sitting. All of the unoccupied tables (including the one we sat at over by the wall next to the soda machine), were dirty with trash, and food crumbs. Even the chairs had food crumbs in them. The counter where the cook handed us our food was covered in food crumbs, and food residue. The cook didn't even act like he cared. He just sat our food on top of it all. We watched him cooking our food, and he was acting like he didn't even want to be there. Our napkin dispenser was covered in dust, and even had some kind of dried food on it. The whole time we were there, there was between 2 and 4 boys standing around behind the counter/register doing nothing. And we even witnessed the cook picking a dish towel up off the counter and wiping his forehead off with it, and then laying it back down on the counter! Something needs to be done about this! The whole area was dirty, and unsanitary. I will say that the rest of the store was clean, but we absolutely will not be spending our money in the hot food area again! Also I tried to contact them through the store email contact on their website 3 different times since then. Every time I try it says unable to send, try again later. We had burgers and onion rings. The onion rings were good, but the burgers were overcooked and crispy on the bottom.
