The staff was incredibly engaging and patient with nearly twenty 8 year olds. The kids were eager to learn and listen to the activities during the party, which I think speaks to the staff connecting with the kids. There was a ton of variety for the kids to do. The studio is very clean. Plenty of room for the kids to eat snacks and cake as well as a viewing section for the parents who wanted to stay and watch. Our birthday girl loved the cutting of the cake with a saber. After cake, staff set up an ultimate obstacle course for the kids to get out even more energy! While this location is a bit far for us, I learned they are opening up a Concord location in June and I will definitely be signing up my girls for classes.

It was the best decision I have ever made for my daughter. My daughter has gained so much confidence by being there. The instructors are top notch. Their enthusiasm in each class makes me want to get back to class as well. They take the time to get to know my daughter and help her with her struggles in TKD. By doing that, it helped her persevere not only at Tkd but also at school. Kudos to the instructors. You don't know it but YOU make a difference in my daughters life. Most of all, I love how everyone there is like family. Hanmi TKD recently started a completion training class which my daughter attends. She loves it. Not only does she practice her competition forms but also get out of her comfort zone and compete at tournaments. There, every single parent, student and instructors cheer on each other. i love how the instructors goes with them to all the completions. Not many schools does that. All in all, we love Hanmi TKD. my son who's 4 years old just started and I can't wait to get my youngest daughter ( 2 years old) in there as well.

The school not only teaches the art of Taekwondo but also the Korean language. They offer a wide variety of programs for both adults and children and are reasonably priced compared to other schools. Also, they sometimes offer a 1 month free with a free uniform just to try it out. I would highly recommend sending young children here to learn the martial art and discipline.

I travel a lot for work and I train in various martial arts. I dropped in here to take party in their sparring session. It was a fantastic technique based spar. I was a complete new face in the gym and they new I was only there for one day but they could not have been more welcoming. Terry and Christina, the owners, are fantastic people. They teach a technique tree called superfoot. It's tricky but crazy effective. They were pretty patient with me as they thought me the basic concepts. LOVE this place. Will definitely come back if I'm in town again.

That being said, I cannot recommend the school enough. Mast Park is hands on, especially with the kids classes, and he is patient while managing to take no sass. My Dad regularly remarks that if I hadn't started at Park's Taekwondo that I would have ended up in military school. The Dojang (school) is spacious with one main room (with foam floor padding) and a lower area with a kicking bag. There are nice dressing rooms for men and women that each have a shower and toilet. There is also a toilet for parents and visitors not located in a dressing room. Additionally, Park's Taekwondo has more 5th Dan black belts than any school outside of Korea. Even when Master Park doesn't lead class you're guaranteed to have outstanding teaching from one of the black belts he trained.
