I hit a Deer on Christmas Night and got my Insurance info the first week of January. I had major surgery on the 15th , so I dropped my car off, not knowing when I could pick it back up. I've been given the unfortunate pleasure to review this fine auto body shop. My car has gone through many repair services throughout the 5 years I've had it, and Masselle's has always treated it like it's a Lamborghini instead of a 2000 Subaru Legacy (with over 100,000 miles). They do a thorough job with any repairs and go above and beyond by cleaning the entire interior and exterior so your car welcomes you back as shiny as ever. I also feel the need to emphasize that Masselle's is not like those auto body shops where you drop your car off for one thing and end up having a convenient/suspicious wiring issue. Masselle's does quality work on many types of models and various years, but more importantly they do work fast. My car needed a fender and headlight repair, but after several hit-and-runs (NOT ON MY PART), I asked if they could also do some cosmetic surgery on my poor little Subaru. Steve, the owner, said it wouldn't cost that much more. All-in-all, it took 3 days and my Subaru looked and sounded better than when I first bought it. I put a HUGE boneheaded dent in the drivers side in our beloved 2010 Subaru Impreza wagon. Literally the first time I ever bent or scratched a car in my life. Totally my fault, totally my own stupidity. UGH! Masselle's was busy over the summer and between work and vacation and this this being a purely a cosmetic dent, I waited until they had an opening for me. I brought the car by on Sunday and by Thursday afternoon it looked better than new. Seriously, I think good auto body shops like this have some sort of black magic or deal with the devil to fix cars. Maybe a real life Photoshop spot healing tool or something. Steve was a great guy to chat with, seemed very honest and straightforward, and the car hadn't looked so good since, well, ever! (We bought it used initially...) Very clean and professional looking shop, we're very happy with the work, I feel the price was fair, and the repair looks phenomenal - a perfect paint match on what I can only imagine is a very difficult color to work with. I hit a pole in a parking garage denting the front passenger fender on my wife's brand new Audi Q7 (4 mos old). The damage extended slightly to the front door enough so you couldn't open the door fully without hearing a cracking/snapping noise. Had an incident at work that left my Jeep needing repairs, took the jeep to the shop to get an estimate. Estimate came quickly and encompassed all of the work needed done. Scheduled drop off with Steve and left my baby in his hands. The repair was completed on time and professionally as I expected after reading reviews. I noticed a couple of VERY small blemishes which Steve corrected before I picked up the following day. During the same time, the girlfriend got hit and needed repairs, so we scheduled with Steve for the following week. Even though it was an "insurance job" Steve took the time to walk her through the repairs, what was done and the costs associated. In addition he did the job right, as well as flawlessly. Met Steve who was really friendly and provided a very reasonable written quote on the spot. Their shop is very clean and well maintained. I booked the repairs right away. Dropped it off and was surprised to get a call that it was done a day before it was supposed to be. The bumper looks perfect, the paint was an exact match and the van was vacuumed and washed as well!
