Michaela was so helpful and guided us through each piece that we were looking for offering great suggestions and listening so well to what it was we were looking for. Prices were reasonable and there were options at every price point. We ended up getting everything here for a new home and stayed within our budget.

I have bought a lot of furniture in my lifetime. I'm 70 years old. About 7 years ago I shopped…read morefor new living room furniture at Wenz and was blown away with their customer service. Several years ago I used them for staging a home we had for sale. Their selections were perfect and nothing I would have picked out myself. The sale of the home went very quickly and I'm sure the staging was a part in that. I was in the market for new living room furniture recently. I made the mistake of ordering furniture on-line. When it arrived it clearly was low quality and to return it I would have to pay shipping over $500. I'm so unhappy with it I will donate it to charity. So back to Wenz I went! Their designer was so helpful in helping me find the pieces that will be best for our space . The cost was comparable to what I mail ordered. This time I could see it in person. Lay on the sofa. And I know they will have my back if we run into any problems. Best furniture, prices and customer service is found at Wenz.

Buyer beware, super shady. I brought two rings in for inspection (insurance mandates). The owner…read moreadvised me that one of them needed work and gave me an estimate of $300 (which I would expect based on the work she stated needed to be done). I approved the work but, as is customary, advised the owner to call me should the estimate increase, which she agreed to. I also left a small pendant that just needed a 5 cent "O" ring which I wanted soldered shut; maybe a $20 job. I was advised she would call me when it was finished but I got no call. I called and was advised by the owner that the pieces were just returned to the shop that day (coincidence). I arrived at Scanlan shortly after the call and there were a number of ladies seated at the owner's desk with her (can't remember her name). She brought out my pieces and told me the total was over $800. I advised her that was not the price we agreed on at which time she asked me to step down to the register (and away from the ladies at her desk) to discuss it. I reminded her that she provided me an estimate and agreed to call me should the estimate change. She ultimately advised me she would charge me $300 for the ring and my grand total somehow ended up being $385.00. I'm no math wiz but $300 X 5% tax is $315 which means she changed me $70.00 for the "O" ring and solder....the whole thing was ridiculous! As far as her "unique" pieces, she told me the first time we talked that she purchases unwanted jewelry from people and resets the stones in her own settings. You never know what you're getting at a shop like this. And it's funny because she bragged to me that she was second generation jeweler. I will not be returning.

The owner said he could get another one in a few days in a box and would call. He texted me on 12/13 that he had one in a box and I went to the store on 12/14 to pick it up. I was shocked to see that now there was a 20% storewide sale. The owner refused to honor the new sale price and after some discussion offered me only 10% off. I requested that the sale be canceled/refunded and I would then re-purchase the mirror at the current at 20% off. He refused. After more discussion, he agreed to cancel the sale all together and give me a full credit and blow the sale entirely. I let him know that he had permanently lost a customer and his reply was that it was my perogative to shop elsewhere. This was my first, last, and only experience with this store.
