I had the best time at a stop here. The owner and staff are so friendly, and very knowledgeable about the crystals and gems they sell. They have the neatest black-light cubby for fluorescent gems. Such a joyful little farmers market to visit! We stopped by on our way to Luray and were so glad we did. They had great produce, a wonderful selection of pumpkins, a cute garden and an excellent rock store. Plus wonderful goat feeding! We saw people doing goat yoga but didn't get to try it our selves. For me the highlight was feeding the goat Chico, and it brought the whole family great joy. Defiantly worth the stop for kids and adults alike. Wife and I took a drive to Laray area just cuz. And on the way we stopped by this little shop. She found a candle she liked and decided to purchase. It was $16. A natural soy wax candle. They have lots of minerals inside and other gifts and items as well. A market and a little goat petting zoo area with chickens also. Cool little experience. read more

Stopped by on a whim after reading about this place on yelp. So glad we did! The moment we got there, the goats announced our arrival with their adorable little bleats. The owner came out to meet us and offered to cut up some fruits for us to feed the animals. The little goats and pigs were so cute, and loved the apple slices we fed them. The farm market had a lovely variety of treats including jams, sauces, pastas, tasty baked goods, locally-sourced cheeses and meats, munchy snacks, and some pretty unique ice cream flavors. The main shop had an incredible collection of products from small businesses, many of which were local to the Virginia area. They were one of the few shops we found that carried t-shirts specific to the city of Luray, rather than generic Virginia souvenirs. Their diverse collection included handmade birdhouses, boutique candles and lotions, hand-crafted jewelry, beautiful stones and geodes, and tons of games and puzzles for the kiddos. Although I was super tempted to buy half of the store, I ended up deciding on some local goat milk lotions and a luxurious smelling candle, along with a few snacks and a baking mix from the farm market. Since we came in the beginning of March, it was too early for garden season. However they also had a third shop exclusively dedicated to garden decor. In the warmer months they sell a variety of flowers and plants as well. The owner Jeff was extremely friendly, and it was obvious that he genuinely loved running his place. He was even nice enough to show us their future plans for adding a charming coffee shop to their space with positively stunning views of the Appalachian Mountains. Hopefully it will be up and running the next time we come back. The absolute best part of our visit was getting to see Winston the piglet coming inside for the evening. After thoroughly inspecting every corner of the shop, he happily made himself nice and comfy in his little crate. It was clear that Winston and all of the animals were being lovingly cared for. Our visit to the Massanutten Country Corner ended up being one of the highlights of our trip, and we will definitely be returning the next time we're in the area! read more

This is a wonderful country store and definitely worth the stop. They have a wonderful wide variety of items, and incredibly fresh fruit and vegetables. I also picked up some random jellies and pickle items. The customer service is beyond phenomenal. read more

Saw this place on Yelp and decided to stop in because of the amazing reviews. I was not disappointed at all! This shop is so cute and amazing! It had many crystals and geodes, soaps, candles, birdhouses, game and toys, garden plants, jams, ice cream and fresh produce!! There were three buildings that you could go in. One was the produce and other food, one was about garden decor and seeds and the other had everything else! I also loved that there was Luray designed clothes as compared to generic Virginia clothes. The best part was the animals!! When we went in the first building we were surprised to see a cat laying on the floor! It was very friendly and let you pet it. As we walked to the other buildings we stopped by and saw the goats and pigs!! We asked for feed and they gave us two containers full of carrots and other veggies to feed them for free! We spent a lot of time feeding them. Highly recommend stopping by!! read more

We stopped by Massanutten Country Corner on our way home from Luray. First, the owner is a delight to chat with. Second, he is extremely customer oriented. Third, he is very knowledgeable about their products, produce, and plants. Fourth, it is a small local business which you should visit and support. The prices are fair and the items are definitely not things you will find just anywhere. OH! They also have any incredible selection of real solid good old fashion toys, including Melissa & Doug. absolutely love this place for local staples and treats alike! i can't get enough of the Scottish oat cakes (great for breakfast, keeps me full all morning!), zucchini breads and homemade brownies. And they have squid ink pasta, which I love so very much! The selection of meat and dairy is really good, too and there is a nice variety of local produce. The staff are friendly and helpful and the goats/ponies/pigs outback are so lovely and cute!! This place has been a lifesaver during the pandemic and i hope more people continue to discover it/help keep business good! Stop here! It might be easy to miss since this lovely little spot is smack dab up against roadway construction (year 4 of a 3-year project, as I understand it). The owner might slice up some fruit so you can feed the goats and pigs out back, and you might feel better about spending $$$ on glittery rocks from Brazil here rather than at the caverns (I did). There is something to tempt anyone at this shop, with gracious hospitality from a hard working owner. read more

Lovely little stop, it's a must do!! Fabulous market with fresh local produce, local eggs, amazing homemade Mennonite pies (try the coconut cream and strawberry rhubarb - to die for), local meats and sausages, local dairy and ice cream, jams and sauces; it's all local and it's all GREAT. They also have a super cute petting pen with small friendly goats and tiny pigs - my kids go crazy. Jeff, the owner, is one of the nicest humans on the planet and will give you treats for the goats. Also a sweet gift shop with an amazing, huge doll house that is worth seeing. We own a vacation cabin in Luray and try to hit Jeff's store every time we come. We are picky city people and only wish more people knew about this place! read more
