And let me just say... Willow is HANDS DOWN the best out of the three therapists I've tried here. I felt the most relaxed I've ever felt, and she somehow found every single spot that needed attention without me even saying much. It was like she read my stress levels telepathically. She was gentle but effective, really intentional with her movements, and made sure I was fully relaxed the entire time. No rushed feeling, no "are we done already?" -- just pure melt-into-the-table energy. My 60-minute massage was $55, and hubby's 60-minute deep tissue with Laura was $60 -- which is honestly such a steal for how good we felt walking out. There is truly no better way to end a long work week than with a Friday massage. We floated out of there like two stress-free marshmallows. Definitely a must-try spot if you need to reset your life (or your shoulders). We'll absolutely be back.

That said let's begin this review. ;D Ace Spa is a small peaceful and calming massage place. They're located in a small plaza on Las Tunas Dr. in Temple city. After doing my diligent search in finding the best massage spa in town I finally found the one that has good reputation. I came early evening as a walk-in at Ace Spa; from the outside it looks bloody modest like most of Asian spa in SGV. I was in dire need to alleviate my thicc back particularly the lower back. I asked for a basic body (1hr./$55) massage and was escorted to one of their dim lit rooms. My female masseus (WeiWei) was exceptionally skilled and professional. There I was getting ready and watching the bloody clock like a marathon runner. Her massage techniques (Deep tissue) were fantastic and hits every muscles of my body. She communicated well throughout our session and was lovely and fun to work with. Therefore, I tipped her significantly. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. And I felt genuinely cared for from beginning to end. All my muscle soreness was gone. I highly recommend AS.

You get checked in and the host was very nice. He offered us water as we waited for our masseuse to come get us. The waiting area in the second building looked very upscale and the rooms were separated by a wall and drapes. Soft instrumental music was playing in the background. I came here with a friend to get a massage and the staff were extremely friendly and very professional. For $40 and hour, it wasnt bad and it came woth hot stones. I couldn't get truly comfortable because the head pillow had a layer of protection that made me feel like im being suffocated. I told my friend I wished my masseuse could have left the stones on my body after being worked on with them. She told me that her masseuse left it on her. They also offer facials, lashes, and nail care! They have everything here. We will be back.

Overall a 3.5 star experience…read more I came her b/c of an IG video by Kristie Hang and was really looking forward to it for increased circulation and blood flow. I booked on Sunday for Monday 11am, 2 hr deep tissue massage. I got here and was kept waiting for about 12-13 minutes b/c they said they were preparing the room. The room is really cramped, the therapist has very little room to maneuver around you. The bed is kind of rock hard, not a true massage bed, not comfortable. Instead of breathable thin tissues that you see at the chiro or acupuncture places for your face, they use paper towels folded 2x (thick), very hard to breathe. Most of the massage is face down. Alot of deep tissue from your neck, back of arms to calves. They use a heck of alot of oil. At one point they bring out a bucket with warm water, with spikes on the bottom for your feet. Not sure why, b/c they don't really massage your feet (at 1 point, they might pound your feet before they have you flip over). - I asked for scalp and ear massage which was done well, happy about that Only a brief time was spent face up. - Massage on shoulders and chest (above breast area) was very restorative There are alot of breaks while the therapists goes to get supplies bc the room is so small. The hot stones are not very hot or soothing, and are laid on your back over a thin towel. She used 1 hot towel on my back. For the rest of my oily body (legs, thighs, etc. a fresh hot towel would have been nice), The therapist does not speak good English. She only knew a few words: Soft, Medium and Hard (strong pressure). Sometimes when it was too hard in certain pressure points, I tried to ask for more gentle, and they she would reduce the whole massage to medium. It was a touch frustrating. For 2 hrs, deep tissue: $80. Half of it was restorative. Some parts I didn't feel like it did much. Then when I was getting changed, I gave my therapist a $20 CASH tip, which works out to 25% tip. She did not look too happy and did not thank me. She gave me the feeling I should have tipped her more. She seemed displeased or disgruntled. Strange and disappointing. There is some street parking, but there are also a few spots to the rear. Everything is very dim. The reception man just says, you have to let your eyes adjust. Even the light in the bathroom. In someways maybe it was overall a good massage, b/c I slept well when I got home. A deep sleep. I just wish it could have been more restorative during the full 2 hours. Maybe I am expecting too much. Hmmm.

After a full day of sport activity at the beach yesterday, my body was in dire need of muscle relief. I walked-in Sunday morning at DWS for a full-body massage. They have different prices starting from $50 (foot massage) to $60 (body; combo) to $70 acupressure. I chose the 1-hour combo with hot stones. I was met by a female manager/owner. I proceeded to one of their dim lit room suite. It was neat with a relaxing atmosphere. My female masseuse (Mary) is exceptionally skilled, and applied the right amount of body pressure. I lay there with oil on my back and she worked on it thoroughly. And I overheard her say "Wow" in a soft voice while rubbing my upper trapezius and latissimus dorsai muscles. I almost fell asleep during the session. The session ended with my body muscles relieved of tension and ache. Staff were nice and welcoming. I tipped my masseuse $20 and thanked the staff. Overall, I had a great massage spa service. I highly recommend DWS.

Went to the location, small parking but it also have street parking. Read the sign, I forgot which day is no parking but found parking pretty easily on the street. Went in and was in a small "room". The ceiling is open so when the workers are talking in Chinese, you can still hear them. It'll be better if they tried to whisper. The massage itself was really good. There was enough pressure and the lady was not just doing whatever to pass the time. Continously massaging in different areas and the not so common areas like between the toes and hands. Docked a star for when I went to pay she said it was $60 for private room and body/foot massage. I was a little surprised as I asked for the price a day before. The sign said $60 i went from the back due to the parking so didn't see it and got out into the room right away. However since I was satisfied with the massage I just let it go

I did a walk in around 3pm on a weekday and I probably should've called ahead since there were no opening at 3pm but there was one at 4pm so I just waited a while outside. You can find parking on the street or there's also a small parking lot in the rear of the building. I opted for the 60 mins back massage as this was something I needed since my back has been tightening up. You're brought into a room with the lights dimly lighted. My masseuse was pretty strong. Though I could feel the pain a bit, it wasn't that much to warrant me to ask her to go a bit softer. She probably knew how tight my back was. Mixed with the arms, head, legs and back, she really worked on the tight areas and I was pretty happy with the experience. Definitely came out a bit sore but my knots were gone. I will come back for sure making sure I make an appointment in case.

She focused on the areas of my body that was really tense and gave me such a good massage. The only I didn't like was that my sister and I shared a room and her and the other lady massaging my sister kept talking to each other the whole entire time so it was really hard to relax. I also felt like there were times that they were gone for awhile at the beginning which I felt like the time was running with just me laying there waiting to be massaged. I would still come back for a massage but I would ask for Sophia based on what my sister and parents felt with the people that massaged them. The ambiance was relaxing if they weren't talking so much during the massage.

When I just rounded up for tip like let's say the massage was $40 but with credit card it was $42 I think so I rounded to $50 and they made a comment about the tip and I had to say, can I get my massage first at least? Rude IMO but typical. Anyways rooms are private but no door and this thin curtain is basically your door when changing so I just stayed in the corner. Massage was nice, came with hot stones. I think the person who massaged me was Flora or something, couldn't understand her. Overall if they had better customer service like understanding to pay for services AFTER getting a massage and maybe putting up a thicker curtain for privacy when changing might be better for new and returning customers.
