We both opted for the 60-minute combo massage which includes face, shoulders, neck, back, and feet (credit card price is currently $63). My massage therapist, David, was wonderful. Anyway, Becky and I left very happy (her massage therapist's name was Joy btw). Thank you, Asia Foot Massage! 謝謝!

I rarely leave reviews, but for Miss Anderson and her salon Carpe Diem Massage here in Memphis, it is much deserved. I was feeling rather stressed from the Holidays, work, family, etc. and really needed to relax and unwind. Looking throughout the various salons online, my gut told me to book at Carpe Diem Massage and I'm so very glad I did. Upon meeting Neysa Anderson in her beautiful salon, I was made to feel very welcome and I knew I was in good hands. The atmosphere, dimly lit with candles, was calming and the relaxing massage from Neysa that followed was enough to send me a million miles away from stresses of everyday life. Booking a treatment through Miss Anderson's Carpe Diem salon, was very smooth, and communication was very swift and clear. I tried the Regular VIP treatment package #3, which started with a swedish style massage, followed by some additional treatments that I chose, including hot stone therapy and use of a deep tissue machine. The last part of my chosen package concluded with an amazing sugar scrub table massage. My rough skin was soft for days afterwards! Time just flies during such a treatment. It was extremely relaxing to such a point, that I was almost sleeping. After the treatment I was allowed to just relax a bit and slowly come back to reality at my own pace. (Next time, I will be sure to add an additional half hour to my session). Miss Anderson is professional, very customer-oriented, and clearly cares for the experience her customers have. Her Carpe Diem salon is beautifully appointed and has such a nice relaxing vibe to it. I really felt like I received the VIP treatment here and look forward to my return. Now I feel relaxed, stress free, and ready to take on the New Year. Thank you Neysa. I'll be back soon!

I was honestly concerned though, because often those online deals reflect watered down services. Thankfully this wasn't the case with my massage at Relaxing Spirit. My massage was on point. The therapist took all of my feedback about trouble spots and firmness of the massage. She also wasn't pushy about coming to visit again. I actually liked her so much I purchase some more massages since they were also having another deal in store where you got a discount for buying a few at one time. I'm usually not someone that commits to massages or buys things in advance - but it was a good deal and the massage was well executed. If you are looking for a good massage and especially if you find a deal with this company - I'd highly recommend it. The things to know when visiting though is that it is kind of a no-frills place. It's a place to get a massage and get out. There is no sauna or luxury spa room to sit in. They do offer water when it's over, but aside from that the place is nothing fancy. I also saw the price list for massages while there and they seem pricey considering that it's not a luxury spa. Good news is that they seem to have deals going on - so if you see one for this place snag it up!!

My one complaint at one point, was the a couple of the therapists were VERY chatty. I would sit through the session and tip as normal, but would request not to have that person again in the future. It's a COMPLETE personal preference, I'm normally very friendly, but massages are my time to truly just zone out. I found out that if you express these concerns or interests, that the front desk may be able to align you better with therapists. Not just with personalities, but a little more detail with pressure (other than just light, medium, firm).
