I've been a member of Massage Haven (north Scottsdale / Grayhawk) for many years and am ALWAYS happy with the services I receive. First, I love supporting locally owned and operated businesses over national chains or franchises. If I ever have a question, concern or suggestion, the owner has met me with open ears, ready to do what it takes to keep customers happy. Second, they hire great therapists. As in any industry, turnover on some level is expected, but this small local business has therapists who've been with them for over a decade! I tend to have my "regular" and favorite therapists, but if scheduling is a challenge, the front desk is happy to consider my needs and preferences in recommending a new therapist they feel might be a fit - and I've never been disappointed. Thirdly, the space is comfortable, well appointed, clean and feels safe. Getting body services can feel vulnerable - they have created a culture and atmosphere that (as a woman) makes me feel SAFE! Also, when booking, you can mention your preference for a male or female therapist - a nice touch! And lastly, their price points and membership option make regular self-care accessible!! I wholeheartedly endorse their membership plans - they are a great way to schedule regular sessions (they key to maintaining good health!) and if I miss a month or two I don't lose my credits! Having been a member for many years, the front desk person (at the other location) tried to charge me a 3% fee to buy gift cards on my credit card. I showed her my emails with the Valentines Day specials and there is no mention of an additional fee. There is also no signage at the destination stating the fee so I told her She could not charge it. I had cash to purchase the gift cards, and she said she didn't have any, after telling me before my appointment she did. She tried to give me an "Itemized Receipt" as it was printed on top to give out. So tacky, so I declined. She was not very helpful so I took my cash and left, without purchasing. I have referred so many people to this location, but not anymore. The therapist is wonderful but this is no way to treat a long time and loyal customer. So dissapointed and would not reccomend to anyone. Now I understand why they at rated 3.8. read more

If you want an amazing relaxing and therapeutic massage, Tiffany needs to be your go-to therapist. I've been getting regular massages for over 40 years (ten years at Massage Haven AZ) and Tiffany is one of the best. She is personable, professional and extremely good at eliminating tight muscles and stubborn knots. I can't say enough about her, just trust me and try her out. I decided to stay low key for my birthday and have a spa day. Being new in town I was looking for a spa in the area that was nice and budget friendly. After doing research and checking reviews on Yelp I decided to try Massage Haven. Besides it being my birthday I get massages pretty regularly and was hoping to find a place to frequent every other month. Massage Haven was modern, very aesthetically pleasing, staff was very nice and the whole place smelled wonderful. I had my cake with me when I came and they were very accommodating and held it in the refrigerator for me until I was finished receiving my services. COMBO ONE $95 -- 1 hr massage, hot oil, aroma therapy, eye treatment, foot soak, mini hot stones and foot scrub and I added a full body scrub. I had already gotten a facial from my esthetician but next time I come here I will try one of their facials. This is my new place. I will definitely be back. read more

I called Massage Haven on a whim after having a lot of neck and shoulder pain. I was in agony and needed some relief. I was fortunate to get in for a last minute, 30 minute massage. My massage therapist was Juanita and she was WONDERFUL. I only wished I had booked a longer massage with her. She knew just what to work on and it felt amazing. I needed massage therapy ASAP to relieve what developed into some pretty excruciating pain and tension. Massage Haven was able to book me with less than 24 hours notice, confirming via text. Emma was my therapist. I initially requested deep tissue, but she recommended therapeutic massage due to the symptoms I described. She was pleasant, thorough, and also recommended some specific stretching and other tips to help with my ongoing and overall well-being. Overall great experience. They don't answer the phone. It goes to a completely different number whose mail box is full. It shows availability online but it's wide open. Wondering if they are still viable. Had a massage there over a month ago and loved the message. But for all they offer on line, I didn't see it when there. The massage room was a storage room. I agree with the rest of the reviews that the front desk service sucks and is unprofessional. I called to make an apt and the girl sounded super annoyed when she said the last apt was at 6. So you close at 7 and want to get out on time but that's not my problem. I'm assuming the same girl checked me in and she spent the entire time gossiping to her friend who was just hanging out. Again, unprofessional. On to the massage, Kristen was awesome!!!! Her massage is a 5! She did an amazing job on my back and my gazillion knots. She was super sweet, professional and applied perfect pressure. I prob got shorted at least 5 min but it didn't even matter cuz she rocked it. The front desk girl was still clueless as I had one of those groupon now things which she didn't redeem properly. She forgot to offer water as well and didn't notice the cups were out. The massage itself was very good quality, excellent massage. However, we paid for a 1 hour and 15 minute massage and instead only got a 45 minute massage. We were supposed to start at 2 pm but ended up starting at 2:10 and we were done at 2:55. It was a Valentine's Day gift for my girlfriend and I and we chose a combo package couples massage and were very disappointed when we were shorted 30 minutes given what we paid for the massage. By the time I noticed what time it was, the masseuses had already left the room and we're waiting for us to pay at the front desk and I didn't want to argue with anybody or be a hassle because it was for Valentine's Day and I didn't want to kill the mood. read more

I was lucky enough to receive a massage as a birthday gift this year. I got a deep tissue massage with Claudia and I walked out with a weight lifted off my shoulders (it was all the knots she worked out head to toe). She was amazing! My hour massage started at 12:12(was scheduled at 12)and finished at 12:55. The masseuse talked and at times stopped massaging to continue talking. I used to get massages all the time and an hour massage was head to toe. My shoulders to my thighs were done. My feet or my head wasn't touched. I'll stick to my normal location in Peoria. I have been getting therapeutic massages most of my adult life and have been going to Massage Haven for at least 4 years. The establishment is always super well organized , the front desk attentive and friendly, the facilities more than adequate. There have been many excellent massage therapists that have come and gone. I can say beyond a reasonable doubt that none as good as Claudia. Hands down, she is the best massage therapist I have ever had in my life. My only hesitation in writing this is that it might make it even harder to see her as she is in high demand. Because of a move, it had been a year since I saw her last. My massage therapist was great, she did say she was brand new at this location, but had been a massage therapist for 5 years.
