Review is mainly for the prenatal massage with Charletta. You can tell she's an experienced massage therapist. She did an excellent job alleviating muscle tension around my shoulders, hands, lower back, and calves. Very considerate with the amount of pressure she used and ensured I was comfortable the entire time. Professional and friendly. I highly recommend booking her for your next appointment!

I will go to their other location in White Bear Lake as I am not so turned off that I won't try again, but I will not have it from Sarah (the owner). I received a 30 minute massage and 60 minute facial. I didn't appreciate her not telling me a single thing she was doing to my face beforehand, as most other places do. And this facial HURT. I was not aware of what I was getting or what was going on my skin. The massage was ok, but the spa music was playing on Sarah's phone and her phone kept buzzing, interrupting the music...not the most professional. I also did not appreciate her making comments about my body. I get it might be a cultural thing but saying I am "so skinny! You must be less than XXX pounds!" Is absolutely not ok and very triggering. So yes, I am open to trying their other location but I will not be going back to see Sarah.

Decided to get a wax before I have my daughter and was dreading the pain, time & all that goes into a full wax lol.. but she exceeded my expectations. She's is QUICK QUICK!! I'm not sure also if she uses a different wax than my previous lady did but it was just way more pleasant. Less painful than I was anticipating and she was also so sweet kind and accommodating as well since I'm a week away from giving birth so she gave me pillows and made sure I was comfortable. Will 100% be back to get routine waxes again after I have my daughter !! Thanks Sarah!

My girlfriend and I went to Woodhouse Spa in Maple Grove expecting an upscale, relaxing, and…read morepampering experience. Unfortunately, we both left extremely disappointed. The facility itself did not feel like an upscale spa. The waiting area was very small, restrooms were limited, and there was a tiny space for everyone to change and get dressed. There was nowhere to comfortably sit and do your hair or makeup afterward. For the prices being charged, we expected much more in terms of amenities, space, and comfort. We were also both very disappointed with our massages. I have had massages at resorts, local spas, boutique spas, and chiropractic offices, and this was honestly one of the lower quality massages I have received. I could not relax, the technique was disappointing, and there was a fan blowing on me along with distracting clicking and other noises throughout the massage. My girlfriend's experience was no better. She was noticeably flinching from the amount of pressure and pain during what was supposed to be a Swedish massage. She was still in pain for the rest of the day afterward. For the price, we expected quality massages and a relaxing, pampering spa experience. We received neither. We have had much better massages elsewhere for half the price. Very overpriced and incredibly disappointing. We were really looking forward to a relaxing spa day together and left feeling like it was anything but.

For example, she helped me so much with scar tissue and flexibility after I broke my arm (humerus bone) one year. If I tell Dana about a certain problem that she doesn't know how to treat off the top of her head, she takes the time to research in the reference books she keeps in her office.
