Jinjin is the best!!! I feel so good and refreshed after her massage session!! Highly recommend!! And I love monrovia location. Been to pasadena location before but staff there is not as friendly or welcoming as Monrovia location. Highly recommend Monrovia location. Staff is always always nice here! read more

The store has a parking lot in the back but pretty small. I didn't see parking there but easy street parking. Scheduling and checking in was easy. They have a nice waiting area inside with hot and cold water but they were so efficient I didn't get to use the waiting area lol. All good. I got a 60min massage with Lis. With yelp checkin you get a free enhancement so I chose to try the enhanced muscle therapy which they explained was icy hot at the end of the session. The massage was a whole body massage with extra attention to where you specify you have issues...very relaxing. They have an intro rate of $85 for the hour and membership fee of $85 per month to get reduced rates. All the staff I encountered were so welcoming and friendly. Great relaxing spot. read more

Love this spot. I have been going consistently for a few months now with my go-to Haley. Haley is excellent with deep-tissue and really finds the knots you need work on the most. Highly recommend! Very friendly front staff Drea and Pealey. read more

Today I had my second facial with Athena at the Massage Envy in Monrovia. Athena is such a great Esthetician, she is knowledgeable and listens to my concerns. I highly recommend asking for her. She has such a kind and caring way about her while doing the treatment and her scalp massage while my mask was on was incredible!!! She recommends what she knows my skin can use which I appreciate since she's seeing it the closest. My skin is glowing when I leave my appt! Also, the staff is always so helpful and pleasant I really love this location. read more

I love this location! Great service, friendly staff, from the front desk to the therapists. I drive past a couple other massage envy just to visit this one, I used to go to another location and experienced too many cancel appointments by the therapists.... So I have this one a try! Shout outs to Liz and Vincent that does excellent massages. Shout out to Patty, that does amazing facials! To the owner: if you see this review, pls recognize your staff! You don't want to lose your dedicated, engaged workers to other places! They are all keepers. Keep up the great work at this particular location! read more

I've been seeing Liz for massages for the past few years, and she has such wonderful, calming energy. Every session leaves me feeling deeply relaxed and grounded. She intuitively knows just what my body needs, and her space always feels peaceful and welcoming. Highly recommend! read more

Been a long-time member. Vincent and Sarah are my go-to. They are both amazing. Cancelled membership due to the odd policy that they can cancel same day, but you cannot. After the Manager verified my cancellation, I still got a charged. Very Frustrating, I will not take an answer that it was a glitched from the system cause my cancellation was approved a month ago or more. read more

Brenda was super. So kind and nines exactly what to do. Highly recommend her. I will be going back.

I wanted to update my review since my last was 8months ago. I am a long term member of Massage Envy, Monrovia location particularly. From the moment you walk in everything is cleaned, you are greeted and helped. Perks of being a member here nice staff, clean lobby, clean waiting area and excellent service. I go to James for every single massage. He is professional, nice, and gives the best deep tissue/pain management massages. Even though he is a male, and I am a woman he is very professional and a huge asset to this location. When my skin is feeling dual and needs a refresh I go to Patty for facial's. I have done red light with her, high frequency and 60-90min facials. She's kind, professional, and is another asset to this location. I am overall satisfied for years as a member. Thank you Massage envy Monrovia! Keep thriving! read more

Redundancy is a prized reward when it comes to an unforgettably wonderful experience; I'm getting that now with my repeat visits to Patty for my facials. I wouldn't sway from her because after many trials and tribulations, I've found the golden ticket I've been searching for in Patty. Expertise often comes from someone who truly loves what they do....Patty absolutely does. Try other estheticians and you'll find your way back here, to the humble massage envy in Monrovia. Membership is $85 per month & points never disappear, as long as you are a member. Don't forget to show your appreciation by tipping after your sessions. You'll see a significant & most miraculous change in your facial texture and elasticity once you visit Patty regularly, every 6-8 weeks are recommended. read more

Thank you James for definitely working on my tense shoulders I will definitely visit this location again. To the reception girls very friendly and helpful. read more

I had 2 signature facials (60 min & 90 min) with Patty and today I did a microdermabrasion and it was AMAZING! Patty did an outstanding job. From start to finish it was flawless. She was very kind, and knowledgeable of what she was doing. I highly recommend the ME membership (monthly) I will be back to see her very soon in 2 weeks! Highly recommend Patty! She was amazing and it was extremely relaxing and enjoyable! Left with glowing skin and a pleasant experience! read more

What an amazing first experience at Massage Envy! When I arrived at my appointment, I was immediately greeted by Rick, who walked me through an easy intake form that asked about my areas of concern and current skincare routine then I was taken to the back sitting area where Patty then came and took me to the room to begin my 90-minute facial session. She was so amazing with taking care of my problem areas and knowledgeable in how to better treat my skin that was glowing by the end. I had such a great time being pampered by Patty, I can't wait to be back! read more

Recently I had the pleasure of some free time alliwing me the privilege and LUXURY of REALLY relaxing into my massage. Picture low grade snoring, and having to be awakened to flip over -- it was on that level of relaxation. If you're in the area ask for Ginger or Lissette both are dynamo masseuses. Ginger has a firm "hurts so good" touch which I've always been fond off. She gets into muscles you didn't even know you had. Lissette is firm and gentle which I also enjoy and she gives great scalp massages!! She promotes overall "calgon take me away" floaty relaxation. read more

Excellent therapist, excellent massage, and an overall excellent experience! Thanks Vincent! I've had a M.E. membership for a few months now, but I think I've finally found my repeat location that I will frequent. I received a great experience from the therapist VINCENT for a deep/firm massage. Not only did I walk away from my session feeling better physically, but I walked away feeling more informed. Vincent took the time to help explain why certain areas were tense, what some of the possible causes were, AAAAND the solutions to help fix it. He was immediately able to identify that I was a side sleeper and that I mainly slept on my left side just by recognizing tense parts of my chest, neck, and shoulder. He even took the time to help explain some pain relieving stretches I could perform to ease my sciatic pain. I could tell that he was extremely knowledgeable and that he cared about his work and clients. Definitely recommend him as a therapist. And shot-out to the front desk team member who was very friendly and helpful too. Unfortunately, I missed their name but a shout-out to you. You were working on 12/12 in the evening. Thanks Massage Envy. Best, Danny with the bad back (lol) read more

The entire staff works really hard to make sure that their clients have a very positive experience! I always feel extremely welcome when I step into Massage Envy Monrovia, and I am always greeted really warmly and courteously by everyone, from the front desk staff to my massage therapist, Connie!! I can't thank everyone enough for making each one of my visits a superb one!! I know that Connie's appointments get booked up really fast because she is a highly sought-after masseuse!! I have to praise Nicolas, one of the front desk associates, who was extremely courteous and friendly when I asked if I could redeem my free 90-minute massage from accumulating 10 stamps on my stamp card, and also use the free enhancement card that I received in the mail for Enhanced Muscle Therapy! When I was checking out at the end, he also looked far and wide on the appointment calendar to see if he could find any appointment openings for Connie for next month. But due to Connie's extreme popularity, I couldn't land an appointment that worked with my schedule, and that also happened to be open. I appreciated Nicolas' hard work in trying to help me pre-book, though! Thanks so much for your help, Nicolas!! I also want to praise Connie for providing me with such an awesome Enhanced Muscle Therapy! Usually, I get the Lavendar Aromatherapy when I get an enhancement with my massage. But this time, I decided to try the Enhanced Muscle Therapy! And I have to admit that it absolutely worked wonders for me in loosening the knots in my neck and shoulders!! Thank you so much, Connie!! You never cease to amaze me with your incredible techniques!! I started out originally at the Massage Envy location on Lake Avenue in Pasadena, which is in the same shopping complex as a Trader Joe's supermarket. But then, I tried other ME locations, including South Pasadena and Hastings Ranch Pasadena. I discovered that I really liked Hastings Ranch because that is how I came across Connie, who is such an excellent and phenomenal masseuse who really works hard to loosen my tight muscle knots, decrease the tension and stress I feel from the typical work week, and who really knows how to relax me when I need it the most!! I followed her from Hastings Ranch Pasadena to the Monrovia location!! But I know that I am one of many customers who came over to Monrovia because of her!! read more

I've never been in a position where I felt I needed to write a bad review. I usually try my very best to be understanding and if I had a bad experience, to leave it and just never go back. This for me was inexcusable and again I'm not here to get the therapist in trouble but in my opinion, if someone provides horrible service, it's a reflection on the company. I went for a hour full body massage and at first I was like hmmm the technique was questionable. I waited to see if it changed but I honestly didn't want to make him feel bad. What really got me confused was - I asked for a full body massage but he only massages my upper back (forgot I had a lower back) and massaged my calves and also forgot I had thighs. Honestly The worst massage I've ever had. I wanted it to be over. He had me turn around and the only thing he massaged, were my arms..... I left confused, paid and tipped to then come home and say WTF did I just pay for? I could have gone a few blocks down and gotten a $30 massage from a strong Asian lady with amazing technique! Honestly, will never come back to this location. It was a 50 minute massage not an hour for $70.... rip off. I'm more upset at myself for paying and not saying anything while there. read more

Kayleigh is an excellent masseuse. She focuses on the areas of stress and works out the kinks

This is an amazing location. I get facials every month with Patty and she is incredibly. She authentically cares about your experience and works with you on your skin goals. I do not like the elbow treatment on my upper back ..... It was so painful and I am older so not much fat or muscles which ended up very uncomfortable. I had to ask please take it easy on my back. She did thank God. The rest was good. The massage therapist is not very well trained. read more

Based on the reviews I chose Helen as my messeur. It was a great experience overall with it being my first ever professional massage. I got the Rapid Tension Relief add-on to my 60 min massage. It didn't feel like 60 mins at all even thought it was! I felt so relaxed. Note that you guys should go atleast 10-15 mins b4 appointment so you don't feel rushed!!! I'm coming back soon to get a facial next time with Patty! read more

I go to Patty every month for a facial. She is so professional and sweet and my skin has improved immensely after seeing her. I really enjoy our sessions. She is such a sweetheart!! Highly recommend her services! read more

Super friendly staff :)!! I always get my massages from Yoyo, I don't like deep pressure, so she does a great light to medium massage. Even though she does do deep tissue she always senses when my body doesn't like the amount of pressure and goes lighter. She craters to all my needs and let's me relax by letting me listen to my favorite podcasts. She can do any pressure and actually sticks to it! When I need a facial I always go to Sarah, she has been helping me with my skin journey and she always allows me to vent to her. She's comforting and understanding of what my skin needs the most. Lately, I've noticed less redness, more of a hydrated/glowy look, and my breakouts have been reduced!! She always does fun extractions as well which have helped me get rid of my blackheads. Love them both. read more

Had an amazing massage today with Sarah. I must say they are under new ownership and the turnaround is amazing. I am thoroughly thoroughly satisfied with my service today. I feel like a new person walking out of there. Facilities very clean, staff is incredibly professional and friendly. I highly recommend. I love that it's a local to me. I'll definitely have to treat myself more in the future. Major kudos to the new ownership. read more

I was a member of this place for over a year. The massages can be good but about 40% of the time I would walk away knowing that I got a subpar massage. When you're a member, the massages cost $85 and I think they are $145 if you are not. That's a lot of money to pay for a crappy massage. When you want to cancel your membership, they don't do it automatically, they give themselves a ten day window to do it so they can squeeze in one more credit card charge. Pretty trashy imo. We all know they could cancel it sooner if they wanted to. Facility is clean and I will say front of house staff is excellent - always really friendly and personable. read more

Patty is the best! I've had my facial done before and never have I seen instant results like after my session with Patty! First off, she is extremely knowledgeable and will examine your skin and know exactly how to treat it. 2nd, she uses only the best high end items and mixes them together to create a customized solution for your skin. Lastly, she is the best at extractions, she takes her time and gets every single one!! My face feels and looks so smooth and glowy! Thank you Patty! read more
