My boyfriend and I went for a couples massage today and both had terrible massages. What's worse is neither of us knew the others massage sucked until we had spent 1:20 mins getting "rubbed down" and talked about it afterwards in the room and paid. Even when I told the guy at the front counter that my massage wasn't good, he still tried to sell me a member package. Like really? Let me sign up for more awful massages because you just want my money. Don't get me wrong, both massage therapists were nice ppl, and so we're the ppl that greeted us and took our medical histories However, I paid for two massages and apparently we both were not happy with our service. In fact, I left feeling worse than when I came in. I kept thinking, surely this man is going to amp it up soon.....NEVER HAPPENED! Apparently my boyfriend asked for deep tissue, but he fell asleep a good 8x while on the table because his therapist was gently rubbing him instead of giving him what he asked for. Neither one of us wanted to say anything because we both thought it would get better....until they both said it was over, drink plenty of water. I thought they were kidding, until they left the room! Seriously. It was so bad all we could do was laugh....it was funny until, I had to pay for the terrible service. 1:20 minute waste of my life that I can't get back. I'm wondering if either therapist was actually trained. They forced me to give this 1 star, but it wanted to give it no stars. I guess since my boyfriend fell asleep they can get 1 star for him getting a nap in. Then they gave us both checklists stating where they found tension and recommendations for the next visit....the areas having tension that they mentioned were the areas WE checked as wanting to be focused on during the massage. GENIUS!!! Only problem was, we left with the same tension and more than we came in with. They aren't jokes folks. This actually happened....today. read more
