Stay away from them unless you want a one and done. I scheduled my grandson for a facial. We discussed having him return for a monthly fee. I never signed a contact or discussed a year membership. He has cystic acne and the massages after 3 resulted in a worsening condition. Upon research, this treatment is not recommended for this type of acne. When he cancelled his next appointment, they stated he needed a dr's note and was responsible for a years fees!!! I would think a dr's note should be requested prior not after. I was paying for a benefit which was obviously not working. In this climate of fraud they are an example of greed and misuse of the public's trust!!! read more

Have been a massage envy member for about two years- starting in Warren location and doing regular and prenatal- and having moved to Flemington, this location offers great massages& facials on par with everything I've come to expect Lisa S has been great for massages so far! read more

do your homework it's a chain and unfortunately Flemington is one of the most expensive to get a massage when you can drive down the road for cheaper. independently owned and operated. Nothing against the masseuse because I think they're great at this location. It's the owners greed and pricing. I actually transferred my membership south now because it's significantly cheaper yet same service so why do I wanna stay with this location? Oh yeah because it's New Jersey is the reason, I don't think so. been a member for many years and now charged an up charge. If I wanna come back to Flemington, they can keep that location then I'll continue to go to other locations where it actually makes sense and they're not trying to rape you. Know what you're signing up for if you choose a membership. And I went for a chemical peel that had an up up charge to $150, what a joke. trying to be bougie Flemington good luck, btw chemical peel absolutely no peeling nothing as a result Total waste of time and money so be warned. By the way paid the Flemington cost when I transferred and had some in the bank but yet they can't figure it out so I have to pay an up charge to use Flemington now. SmH read more

I never post two reviews, but I just completed my 4th service at ME flemington. 3 were massages (1 pre-natal, then 1 8 weeks after having the baby, and another last night for a strained neck), and 1 was a facial. EVERY single person I spoke with on the phone and in spa was lovely- kind, polite, and accommodating. The therapists themselves were wonderful- Brylan (spelling?) was great for my first massage after having the baby. Jackie literally fixed my neck and shoulder last night - Jackie definitely has more of a firm pressure and was exactly what I needed. I can't believe I forgot the name of the woman who gave my facial- she was lovely as well and I can't wait to go back ! I used to go to short hills, but it was always hit or miss with staff and therapists. I will definitely stay a member and go more often now that I found such a great location with great service. read more

I would leave 0 stars if an option. Masseuse Lisa in the first 10 minutes of massage stopped abruptly and said " I'm done with you". She proceeded to yell "fuck you, you are the nastiest person I've ever met". She then pointed her finger in my face and was telling me off. I said "get your finger out of my face!" She left the room slamming the door. I got dressed quickly completely shocked, went into the hallway. When I walked out she came storming down the hallway, when she walked by she said "fuck your again" walked a bit further turned around and said " fuck you" yet again. Kept walking turned around and started yelling at me pointing her finger and was escorted away by another masseuse. read more

A single working mom with a high pressure job and two kids in college, taking a little time for myself insures my sanity (and my family's safety LOL). I don't know what I would do without my amazing crew at Massage Envy. I joined their monthly membership plan several years ago and have used it towards both massages and facials. Having had both at a number of different spas in the past, their monthly membership plan was right in line with the competition. Twice during that time, I had to suspend my membership for six months due to financial challenges. That can be embarrassing, but the staff never drew attention to my situation. Instead, they reassured me that they would be there for me when I was ready to restart. Everyone from Ashley and the front desk staff (who welcome me by my first name) to my amazing anesthetist, Cyndi, I have always been treated like a VIP! read more

My first and last time at Massage Envy. A 90 minute massage started at 4:00, with an intro to therapist. I was dressed and finished by 5:19! They included 10 minutes of pressure sales as massage time. Total SCAM!! Buyer beware! Much better at independent salon where a 90 minute massage is 90 minutes!! Also, therapist was "circling" for gratuity afterwards. A truly horrible experience. Do not go to Massage Envy in Flemington, NJ! Sub average massage and full misrepresentation on actual minutes. I would NEVER recommend Massage Envy! read more

This location does not have care for their customers. Don't see people who are having financial hard time and need help they don't try to help they keep taking their monthly fee though. Then you can't use your sessions because you have no money for gratuity to give . So now you cancel and are out the cost of 5 sessions.no refunds allowed. They we are a franchise we don't do that . So I say don't use this franchise location Flemington they don't care read more

Got a gift card as prize from a raffle at my company. I never had a "real" massage before, so i am a newbie to the spa experience. My wife and I were staying at the Main Street Manor B&B. There wasn't much to do in the area, so I remembered the gift card i had and we got a couples massage. The place was clean...calming...dark. My therapist was very nice and walked me through the process. I think her name was Sam. The massage lasted a little under an hour. i was practically asleep, so it may have been longer. Definitely relaxing. If you're new to the massage experience, they make it easy and painless. I'd ask for Sam. read more

I frequently went by this place and was excited when my husband got me a gift certificate there for Mother's Day last year. I work full time, go to school, have children and take care of my mother so finding time is difficult. Therefore I was excited to finally try it on a rare day off. I went in and they told me since the upgrade was expired there was nothing they could do. The manage was more interested in her phone conversation than talking to me. It's unfortunate that I am someone who still cares about customer service. I will not go back to someone who obviously cares very little about potential customers. read more

I disagree with the reviews here. I've found them excellent wholistically speaking. They are kind, thorough, and experienced. I have felt relaxed and less sore after every massage read more

I love going here! I was new to the area and the staff here are very kind and giving. They are quite thorough and tend to ensure that they finish the massage well rather than stop as soon as the timer goes off. The place is very clean. The atmosphere is calm and promotes relaxation. I can't wait to bring my friends and be a regular here again! read more

Buyer beware. I made the mistake of falling for their high pressure sales and signing their contract. Things have changed, I am unemployed and was diagnosed with RA. The only way they will cancel my contract is with a note from my doctor. The last massage I had there was extremely painful with the therapist pulling at my shoulder he knew was in bad shape. When I call to talk to the manager, Nicole, she just yelled at me over the phone. Certainly not good customer service. I agree with the review by Animal F., you are better off with a local professional. read more

Do not fool yourself into thinking this is going to be a relaxing place to be a part of. They bill massages at 59 dollars each, or less! but don't believe it ! when you go in you are high pressured to give large gratuities ($30) and the massage ends up costing as much as if you went to a local independent contractor where you get much better service and an actual full hour of a massage rather than the 45 to 50 minute when you get there. Plus I was told I would only have to do 6 months of a year contract, then at the six month mark they told me this was a mistake on their workers part but refused to honor it. Really awful experience :-( The manager Nicole is particularly difficult to work with. read more

Great experience. My therapist was Tim Galgon and he is the best. He truly cares about his clients and takes the time to assess their needs. He was the best massage i have ever had and i will return for future visits. read more

My husband bought me a gift card from Flemington Massage Envy location and I only got 2 massages done out of 3 and they kept charging me every month. When we tried to contact the manager it seems the that manager is so busy that she will contact within couple week's time. This is just ridiculous business old tactics to take the money for the service we never intended to use. Be aware of this location before you buy any gift cards from them!! read more

You are clearly better off going to a competent independent. They have a very convoluted payment program and membership...just a weird business model. read more

Dishonest establishment that accuses their patrons of lying even when conversations were written down with names and dates. Also poor massages which complaint was given only when they asked how everything was. When explained as to why massge was less than average they asked if they can "make it up" they then try to charge me for it. read more

The massage was great however, this was followed by an hour facial which I wish I had not wasted my $$ on. The woman who did my facial was way too chit-chatty and wouldn't stop asking me questions. I just wanted to relax. I tried to give her a hint by only providing one word answers. Also, after the 50 minutes, she was pushy in trying to sell me the Murad products which I did not purchase. I will never get a facial there again. Also, I did try the facial at the one in Branchburg, and was equally disappointed. read more

I have been a member over a year in Flemington Nj franchise and have been doing massage for over 10 years in a number of establishments across the country and in the central Nj area. I therefore know what good looks like. My experience with the therapists have been fairly good but inconsistent due to the large turn over in some of the best therapists. I've had great experiences to fair experiences. All the therapists were kind and hard working but do not appear to be treated well (or paid well) by the management. This is the rationale for the 1 star rating - the absolutely terrible management of the flemington site is the reason I cancelled my membership due to their lack of customer focus and care. First, the scheduling is haphazard even though I always schedule one-2 months in advance and am diligent in making changes when I am the initiator of change. However, most often, I am getting repeated calls canceling or changing my appointment the day before or the day of. So if I have hour and half I am stuck with less time and with someone who does not fit my needs. Unlike most professional massage therapy places, there is a file of history of massage therapists and their preferences. Not at the massage envy at flemington! Every time I changed therapists (at least 8 times in one year) or rescheduled, it was if I was new customer with no history. In addition, their management is hard nosed and unwilling to acknowledge or fix recurring problems that have consistently been articulated and discussed. You are appeased at first with promises of change but the management continues with their bad practices. In canceling my membership, I was told "no refunds." I had to argue with a most unpleasant and arrogant manager about the refund pointing out that they consistently cancel at the last minute (knowing the therapist would be out or has left) and their inability to plan accordingly to manage their appointments and their staff turnover. The flemington location is not very clean and the massage therapist appear unhappy and stressed out. If you need stress relief do not go to the flemington location as it's a depressing place. I will see if I have issues with getting a timely refund if they assess fees. Nice therapists but bad place to work. read more
