I absolutely agree with Anne!! My husband had MOHS with Dr. Varughese in November 2024. 10 Stiches were needed on the side of his right temple. A tricky spot. Not long after the surgery you could not see a scar at all and the post op and healing were phenomenal. Dr. Varughese is competent, very attentive and super nice. A shoutout to Lauralee Pakozdi whom we see for regular checkups at the Church Street office every six months. She and her team are fantastic. read more

DO NOT recommend. They don't answer calls, respond back to messages left, prescriptions are not refilled after leaving several detailed messages on the prescription refill line weeks in a row, etc. When politely brought to the attention of the staff and the Doctor himself, they then are defensive and annoyed that it's even addressed with them instead of taking any responsibility they turn around and blame me the patient somehow?!?! Wow, if I had read these reviews never would have gone here. But couldn't get to my usual dermatologist for months. Original appt was fine, doc was pleasant and competent. But follow-up has been terrible. Got a biopsy 2 wks ago and they said to call if I didn't hear anything in that time. So today I tried to call. Operative word, tried. I have had 5 Mohs surgerys-4 on my face and one on the top of my ear. Dr. Neal Varughese performed all of these procedures. He is meticulous in his work-- a perfectionist who has a talent which cannot be taught. He works with the profile of your face in such a way that I have no scarring as a result. I can't recommend him highly enough. I also have multiple myeloma and , as a result, have experience with a wide variety of doctors, Dr. Varughese is a professional and a joy to work with. So if you require mohs surgery, have a consultation with him at Hunterdon Center for Dermatology in Flemington,NJ (908 237-4124) Since posting this review, I noticed several negative one's after mine. One person falsely said that Dr. Varughese was no longer there. Others criticized the office procedures, staff, etc. Of course I cannot speak about other people's experience, but I experienced none of these negative effects. I was there beginning summer, 2024 and after 5 mohs surgeries, had my last appointment on Friday,Jan. 9, 2025. My last surgery was a tricky one since I had allowed the cancer to get too large before coming to see the Dr. He had to do a small skin graft and still, I have no scar. Dr Varughese told me that in the future, I should just stop by, without an appointment so he could look at it. They are very responsive there and I experienced no problems at all, so if there were some in the past, they have been ironed out. read more

Dr. Lauralee Pakozdi is simply awful. She takes things personal, she is snappy, and very unprofessional. My daughter has been going to see her a few times now for her acne and whatever she does never seem to work. Doctors are not miracle workers, so it is OK that things sometimes do not work. What is bothersome is that instead of trying to figure out why something did not work or how she could help make things better, she accuses her patient for lying to her, because at some point the prescription may have worked temporarily and then it stopped. Furthermore, maybe she deals with millionaire acne patients on a regular basis, but when she casually prescribes yet another medication and suggests to "just give it a try" and that medication happens to cost $1,500 (after insurance coverage), she is either totally clueless or simply wants to screw around with her patients. Please, somebody re-train her to better interact with patients and be a reasonable person first, then maybe she can do doctor work. read more

Worse than the reviews... MUCH worse. Their tag line is "That doctor is no longer with the practice." "Surly" is the rule - NOT the exception - WHEN they answer the phone OR are present to receive arriving patients. Let us use the word "unfortunate" to describe the overall experience. Some are not possessed of reliable transportation and cursed to have to have to rely on this place. My carrier has been made aware of this level of service. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Dr Cruechi dropped the ball on this one. Doesn't have the professional demeanor to call with test results only to state she has no time. Really as the entire staff should be given pink slips. No communication no follow up. No call back from anyone. They don't care about you only how much money they can take in. So here I am looking for a surgeon to take care of my skin condition. Do yourself a favor look elsewhere, it could be a matter of life and death. The receptionist. Front desk staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. I had an appointment on 12/25/2020 with Dr. Qureshi that required prior authorization. My primary care medical assistant faxed my prior authorization 3 times. Each time, they claimed that they couldn't see it. I walk in to my appointment and they make me wait for 30 minutes "because they needed my prior authorization to be faxed- AGAIN". Turns out the form had been sitting on the reception's desk the whole time. No apology offered. Was rushed in to see Dr. Qureshi. His nurse did not introduce herself. Did not take my paperwork. Just stood there holding a clipboard and staring at me like I was an object. I'll never go back there. And by the way, the answer to every one of my questions was , "aging", and "there's nothing I can do about it". I never said I was looking for "a miracle cure for aging". I met with a very young DR (Dr Yousuf Qureshi) at Hunterdon Center for Dermatology in later September 2020. I started my visit with a nurse who rudely cut me off while I was explaining what issues I wanted to discuss with the DR. She asked if I wanted a body scan & I agreed. Dr. Qureshi came in 5 minutes later and quickly completed what I assume was a full body scan. He looked so uncomfortable during the body scan, he made me uncomfortable. (Why would someone become a DR if they are uncomfortable with a partially naked body?) He was unable to answer my questions, gave fancy names with no detail when asked about a growth and did not ask if I had questions. After he finished, he rushed out of the office with the nurse. My whole appointment took 15 minutes. I received NO answers and no treatment suggestions! If you are searching for a dermatologist in the greater Flemington area, find another practice! read more

Our visit with the Physician's assitant was okay, however, the office staff is completely miserable and rude. They act like they are being bothered for doing their jobs. A simple question was met with a rude, curt answer. They were flustered and unproffesional. Really felt unwelcomed there. And it wasn't just me. I've visited this practice on several occasions and the Doctor's treatment is generally competent, however, the front desk customer service is lacking to say the least. I don't understand why people who are easily annoyed choose this type of roles. Those at the front desk are greeters and the face of the business; why allow rude, curt people to occupy these roles and sabotage your customer service reputation. The employee setting up the appts. was curt and, similar to another review I read on Yelp, made me feel as if I was a bother. It's a shame when you are essentially paying to be handled so carelessly. My entire customer experience is now tainted. read more
