We came here a couple of times during our Visit to NY and…read morethe prices and service overall are pretty great. We called in advance the first time and they were able to take two of us within 10 minutes. The second time when there were 3 of us, they were able to take us within 45 minutes. They do basic "bodywork" massages for $45 an hour, plus card fees, which is a very good price. They charge $2.33 extra per massage for using a credit card. What I didn't like is that it can be a hit or miss. One therapist did a very light massage (not getting out knots) and even answered phone calls during my massage. She also started later and ended earlier than others who started earlier than me. They also default to hot stones, so you have to tell them in advance you don't want it. We forgot to do it for our second massage and it was done, but it was like less than a minute. The rooms are separated only by curtains as well. Overall, the price point is good, but the service and the therapist can be random and unpredictable. It seems like some folks who call seem to know who is best and will call in advance to book their session with certain folks.

We were lead to the back and shown to our tables. They are about knee high and pretty plush. After laying down on the table, the massage began. The woman worked me over. Adjusting for what she felt I needed or for what I said. Telling me to relax. The woman was a consummate professional and the time flew by. Before I knew it, the time was up. We got ready and headed towards the front. Feeling relaxed. I like.

First impression: Where have you been all my life? I've lived in this area for about 20 years and…read moream shocked that this is my first time here, but it definitely won't be my last. Our masseuses Abby and Jackie were amazing. They were pleasant, thorough, and attentive. My husband surprised me with a couples massage and booked the "We Will Rock You" package. The couple's suite was super clean. A dimly lit room that had two perfectly laid out heated beds, an electric fireplace, and two elegant boxes to place our clothes inside. I loved the music that was lightly playing in the background. The instrumentals created a warm and relaxing environment. It felt as though our 90-minute session flew by, but really, I don't think we would've ever wanted it to end. It was that good! Rose-scented facial mist, Hot Stone Massage, everything was wonderful. We appreciated being asked "if the pressure and the temperature of the rocks were ok", We held the most tension in our neck & back, so they focused on those areas a lot to work out the knots. Wave-like motions. Long strokes, from the starting point all the way to the extremities. Often, the movement seemed like it was synchronized with the music lol! Both masseuses were skilled and intentional in everything they did. Afterwards, we felt light as rain. Hands On HealthCare Message Therapy is an excellent place to book a massage. We look forward to discussing targeted areas for future sessions and recommending them to our family and friends.

I have visited at various days and times both by myself and with a friend and have had excellent massages from both male and female staff. Their prices are posted clearly right where you walk in so there's no confusion about what you want or what you will be paying. ( I have no idea why this review says that I live in San Francisco. Possibly because I signed in via Facebook. But I live in Huntington Station New York).

My friends got me a Groupon for a prenatal…read moremassage but Maria claimed these are only redeemable between 2-5pm on weekdays - despite this NOT being expressed anywhere in the terms or on her website. She then told me "ask for a refund, I don't need to schedule any appointments" cool, 0 out of 5 on customer service. As if that wasn't enough she kept texting me harassing me. It seems as if she used a text app because despite me blocking her messages kept coming in. It's a shame to want to support small businesses during this time but when they are completely unreasonable, not personable and don't have these terms expressed yet blame the customer - I can't imagine her service being that great.

Prior to my massage Desiree sat down with me to find out if I had any areas I wanted her to focus on the type of pressure I liked. I've seen other reviews mention that they were taking calls while doing massages and that is true however, I feel that description was a little misleading, the calls were taken through air pods in a whisper tone often everyone who works at this place does massages so if it's full, everyone is working.
