Stay far away from this place. They don't care about their customers. I had a scheduled massage, arrived on time, and waited for the masseuse who never came. They offered to reschedule. No compensation, no apology. I pointed out that I had a gift certificate which expired at the end of the month, could I extend it since I was supposed to use it that day. The response... NO. I asked to speak with the manager. No return call. I asked to speak with the owner. No return call. I will be cancelling my membership and staying far way from this place. They are only out to screw you. If you need anything ... they will not help. There are many better places to get a massage that stand behind their brand. This is not one of them. read more

My husband and I did a couples massage. It was very easy to book a couples massage last minute despite this location being a pretty busy place! We were welcomed immediately and filled out our consent forms before we went to our room. Our masseuses did such an amazing job. I felt like I was in another world and completely refreshed and rejuvenated after. I would definitely consider their membership after having that massage! This location was clean with decent parking in front of it read more

I made an appointment for today with the therapist I have been seeing as a member. Her name is Michelle. Excellent person. I am flying overseas tonight so was especially eager for a relaxing session. Instead I arrived and there was no record of my scheduled appointment. There was no other therapist to see me and I was sent packing. No offer to make things right for me. Last visit there was an issue with my membership and being double charged. Very disappointed. Michelle is amazing but the front desk--not so much. read more

If you haven't booked a session with Mia yet, you're seriously missing out. She's hands-down the best therapist at this location--and trust me, I've tried many. While others barely graze you like they're basting a Thanksgiving turkey, Mia gets in there and actually massages your muscles. She knows exactly what she's doing, applying the perfect amount of pressure with real technique. You walk out feeling refreshed, renewed, and like every penny was well spent. She's a total gem, and I won't go to anyone else ever again. I'm officially Team Mia for life! read more

DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM MASSAGE ENVY! My husband gave me a gift card for Mother's Day last year, when I went to redeem it and schedule myself a much needed massage. I was told there's no money in my card. This is very disappointing, because I know for a fact that my husband paid $125 of our hard earned money. Now to find out that it was zeroed out, nothing on the card, with no explanation! I was told that someone must have used the card and I absolutely know that is not correct, because it's been under my possession the whole time! This is very disappointing, but not surprising of these chain massage companies. I would caution you before you spend your hardened money at this business. read more

Convenient monthly massages at a chain spa but nothing spectacular. My experiences with these type of massage places is always mixed. It all depends on who you get or the staff that is working that day. The ladies are a little scatter brained. One time they entered the wrong tip amount and another time, they charged me incorrectly and I didn't realize until I checked my credit card. It was billed for an extra massage appointment for the month, not as my monthly credit. My massage therapist is Eric and he is super sweet. He is considered deep level massage and though he is pretty good, I still feel he doesn't quite get all the knots out like I would like. He is definitely skilled and doesn't just rub lotion on you with the same motions, he does get into my neck and shoulders like I request, just not as intense as Thai or pressure point massages I'm used to. read more

After hearing raving reviews of my friends who visited this location, I was excited to book my first appointment. Due to last minute schedule conflicts and their confusing booking site, I called the location to cancel my appointment. The receptionist, was not helpful at all in helping canceling my appointment and told me I would be charged a fee. After an hour long phone call and requesting to speak to management my appointment was cancelled with no fee. It shouldn't have been a hassle to cancel an appointment when I called to do so within the first 10 mins of booking the appointment. Especially since there is no mention of cancellation fee as I booked my appointment or received a confirmation email. I will definitely not be returning to this location. read more

Awesome massage spot in Boca, I had a perfect sports massage from Danielle! Would recommend this place to anyone in the area!

I had an excellent experience at Massage Envy. I booked an appointment online on my phone the day before and picked out a time most convenient for me, and I picked the massage therapist as well. I arrived for my appointment, I did the online check in right before walking in the door. (They send you a text message with a link) I walked in and was greeted immediately and they confirmed my check in. They had me fill out a form on an iPad that took about 5 minutes. Then, I proceeded to do my massage and stretch session. Both were relaxing and excellent. Room lighting is low and dim, there is relaxing low spa music in the background, no noise at all, and love the aroma therapy options. I ended my massage with an exfoliating foot massage as well. I feel relaxed and brand new. Everything is clean and sanitized, and staff wear masks for Covid precautions. I love how easy it is to book an appointment online hassle free and just walk in to get your massage. I also did all the payments online while booking the appointment as well which just leaves room for you to just focus and walk in to your massage on the day of your appointment. Staff was friendly, attentive and professional. I will have to come here more often, I will definitely return. read more

Massage Envy - Massage Near Me - Boca Raton, Florida

I got a massage by Jen and it was the worst massage experience I've ever had. She was so brisk and rough in her actions and maneuvers that I couldn't relax for a second. Her massaging skills are average, but the way she handles your body, the sheets, the pillows etc.. are so rough that it borders on unprofessional. I complained to the manager, but I'm not sure that she cared much. She told me that no one has ever complained about Jennifer before. I find that highly unlikely. read more

My 1st experience at this location and will never return! First of all the "zen" room or whatever it's called is far from relaxing. It's not even a separate room but off in the corner and you can hear the employees chatting and them answering calls...annoying actually. This is when I over heard them complaining that my massage girl Yara hadn't shown up. Well almost 30mns later they had no answers for me or a massage other than come back another day and they would add 30mins to my massage. What made mad was I purposely stayed in Boca late close to rush hour traffic just to get a massage when I could've gone to the one near my house an hour away! No envy here...went to another one that squeezed me in and felt bad for me. read more

I've been coming to this Massage Envy for a while and the staff are always a delight. I've always gotten great service during my couples massages and facials. The esthetician helped me create a facial regimen for all of my skin's needs!! I cannot recommend Junior more as a massage therapist! He really helped ease my pain in my neck after a car accident. The waiting room is very calm, which is the perfect environment to relax before a massage or facial! read more

So, I've been complaining about how I have needed a massage for WEEKS and since my husband is a "member", he recommended that I try the ME that he goes to. Calling and scheduling the appointment with Connie the day before was super easy. Connie was great! She asked about my needs and paired me up with someone she thought would be a perfect match for me. Today, I show up a little earlier than suggested (I got there maybe 20 min prior) and was greeted by two smiling faces. From the minute I sat down, I felt extremely comfortable and catered to. Franciny not only took time to sit with me and go through all of the "first timers" paperwork but she was genuinely friendly, taking an interest in me, as a person, not just a "customer". This kind of customer service goes a LONG way! My massage therapist was Jen and man, was she great! I purchased the 60 min massage and the foot exfoliation add on and I was NOT disappointed! Jen is extremely professional, yet very personable...she gave me one of the best massages that I have had in a LONG time...so good that I also opted for the perks of membership! If you are local to the area and are looking for a great place to pencil in some time for yourself, this is the place to go! read more

I finally found one good masseuse after trying a few and then she left as I hear it is common there. I tried someone else and she messed up my shoulder not long after I had a nerve block and caused a problem with my hip which was fine before I had the massage. I really wanted to cancel my membership but of course they will absolutely never allow that. Also, multiple times they messed up my appointment times, so I was charged for an appointment that I was told I missed. I heard other people complaining of the same thing. Although I am writing this review late, I received a massage from this location back in July of 2021. I specifically booked this massage for relaxation, peace of mind and to release some tension as I was in the fire academy at the time. I booked the massage a couple days before my state test to finish the fire academy. The massage therapist was extremely nice, but he wouldn't stop talking the whole time which was not relaxing to me. I would love to come back to this location, but I do not want that to happen to me again. read more

Honestly I'd like to give the masseuse a better rating but the way the front desk and management treated me I can't. There is not a massage in the world that could fix the craziness I received from them. After my massage I went to pay and they refused to take me gift card which was more then the massage. The manager who obviously did not know his company's paperwork refused my gift card because he said it wasn't valid. I told him calmly let's call corporate and work this out he refused. I told him I didn't have any money on me he didn't care to help in this situation. I left saying I would call corporate and figure it out. He texted me that i was a thief and demanded cash by 6:00 at night or he was going to call the police on me for theft of services. When I got home I looked at the emails with the number and called their front desk with it and they accepted it. What horrible customer service just because the manager wasn't familiar with his company's paperwork. There are too many massage places around to go back to this one. They are rude and not caring of their clientele. I would recommend any other massage place but here! read more

Massage Envy - Friends massage - Massage Near Me - Boca Raton, Florida

Good massage therapists are hard to find here, I haven't gone to the same therapist twice. Most are fresh out of school, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but typical of Massage Envy. It's kinda hard to NOT enjoy a massage, that being said, of course I enjoyed it. Was it the best ever, not really. The counter ladies were very friendly and informative. The venue was nice, quiet and relaxing. The massage therapist was friendly and skilled, just some minor issues I had that I can easily overlook. The main question, will I go back? Of course, I have a contract! (And as I said, it's kinda hard not to enjoy a massage) read more

This review/rating isn't about the quality of message (which are just fine), it's about the company's draconian and antiquated policies regarding memberships. My wife and I were talked into a membership. We were there frequently enough that we thought it might be worth it. For the first two months or so it was. Life got a little complicated and we weren't able to go for a while. We were told this wasn't a problem as the monthly messages would "roll over" and accumulate. Great, right? Yeah not so much... Over the course of the next two years (or so) we accumulated like 20 messages each (having paid ~$2,400 in monthly memberships). This is when the problems really started. First; my sister asked if she and her boyfriend could use one (each) of our accumulated messages. Message Envy allows this if they pay an additional $10. Well I never gave my sister permission but she and her boyfriend waltzed in and got their messages (taking one each from my wife's and my accounts) without ANY authorization. A few weeks later my wife decided she didn't want to keep paying for this back-log of messages that were piling up so she canceled her membership. They didn't give any hassle in the cancellation but, also, didn't give any warning of what was to come. If you cancel your membership THEY WILL NOT LET YOU USE THE MESSAGES YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR! That's right... they just steal your money. Unless you continue to pay them you cannot use the messages you have already paid for. THIS IS STEALING. There's no way around it. It's theft, pure and simple. I called them to tell them I needed to cancel my membership as well but that I would not be losing my accrued messages and they said that I would, indeed, lose them. No wiggle room. They simply don't care. Just kept spitting the old, "it's company policy, sir" nonsense. Eventually my bank issued new cards so the account was canceled anyway. I called them to get the situation resolved and I'm told I need to talk to the manager. Fine. She actually called me back a few days later but I missed the call. The her (their) credit she has made a few more attempts to get in touch with me but I've been very busy and she always seems to call when I'm in the car (and I don't use the phone in the car which NOBODY should either). If they make good and let us use the massages we have already paid for we would be happy to reinstate our memberships (if they change their policy) when we've used up the back-logged messages and update this review to be more favorable. As it stands now, I would advise EVERYbody to avoid a membership at this place. TL:DR; Do not pay for a membership. They won't let you use the messages you HAVE PAID FOR if you cancel the membership. read more

I would give zero stars. I purchased a years subscription. Which I had to freeze due to multiple surgeries. I went there 2 months ago and they said I had no massages left. Which they said they would fix because I had 3 left. Called today to schedule a massage and they said my massages expired in October. They said they called the manager and they wont honor them. So they pretty much stole $165 dollars from me. Complete RIP off. Horrible Management and no good faith. Massages aren't all that great either. Recommend you dont fall for their scam membership. They told me my massages were not going to expire. read more

I have been a member for over two years. Every time I walk into Massage Envy I am always treated with a smile. Everyone is extremely friendly and professional and the place is clean and spotless. Michele, (my massage therapist) has been working with me for the better part of the two years. Her hands are magic. I have been a member at Massage Envy of Mission Bay for 4 years now. I have never had a bad experience here. The therapists are all very well trained and professional. The front desk staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Sierra (I believe that is her name) is always friendly, helpful and attentive when I am checking out of my appointment. I would definitely say that Massage Envy of Mission Bay is the best location in Boca Raton. It is conveniently located on Glades and 441 very close to my house. After an extremely stressful day, I decided to stop by Massage Envy in Mission Bay. The front desk associate who was helping me could tell that it was a rough day and was so sweet. She was genuinely concerned that I wasn't feeling well. I do have very bad anxiety so she suggested I use the Aromatherapy called anxiety release & it was amazing! They mix the oil into the lotion and the smell, with the massage, made me feel so much more relaxed & less anxious. Was a plus that I got to take the rest of the oil/lotion mix home. I can't wait to go back again! read more

Love this place. I've been a member for about three and a half years and I usually book for the time spot so I'm not particular about the therapist that I see so I've seen about twenty - literally every one (except one who no longer works there) was wonderful. My wife and I have been members at this location for many years and have been treated well throughout. All the massage therapists have been professional and friendly, as well as management. We have required a good deal of schedule flexibility as we travel constantly and spend summers in NYC, and we have never been disappointed in how were treated. Everyone is professional, accommodating, and qualified, and the location is always spotless! Since the purpose of a massage is to relax and work out stress, the entire process from start to finish is important. We both recommend them highly, and promise you won't be disappointed! read more

this place sucks! (in mission bay plaza) i was given a membership quote of $39/month and many months later found out they were charging my credit card $59/month. when i called to report this the manager said whoever quoted me $39/month no longer works there and the charge is $59/month. so they chrged me for the rest of the year at a rate i never agreed to and never would have agreed to AND they said i wasnt able to get all the massages they owed me. they charge you a monthly membership and will charge your card without fail every month whether you get a massage or not. i was told if you didnt use your massage the credits would "roll over" and you would get 2 the next month etc. but its simply not true because when i went to use them up, i was told "you cant do that, i dont know who told you that but that person no longer works here" they tell me this every time i have a problem. or they say "i dont see that noted in your account file, the last person you spoke with didnt write a note or anything" how convenient. yet they charged me full price for 4 massages i never got!! when i called to complain the front desk girl said they would be "doing me a favor if i got any massages back" (which i didnt get). i asked her "what part of giving me what i paid full price for is a favor?" the front desk girls are very rude and talk down to the customers. they just steall your money. i didnt renew my membership with them because i always came out of there more stressed out than before i went in. also, they end their massages 10 minuted early if youre a member. when i complained about this to the front desk i was told the skipped time was to give me time to change and have quiet time. i can change my clothes in 30 seconds, what do i need the other 8 minuted of quiet time for? i wanted a full massage because i paid a full price. one pro is that the massage therapist vanessa is amazing! i wish i knew where else she worked because i refuse to set foot here ever again. very high turnover and whatever youre promised, they will tel you "the person who promised you that or said that or claimed that or helped you last time no longer works here" I found a much better place called massage circuit in boca raton and i'm much happier. their front desk staff was very professional, courteous and didnt pressure us into their membership at all. (we got ransacked at massage envy to sign up for the membership) the massage i got a massage circuit was the best massage ever! and they are even cheaper than massage envy! i will never go back to massage envy's very poor customer service. read more

Deplorable service. Long time member I have seen constant turnover on the therapist side as well as front desk. There is little to no accountability from the front desk or therapists. Therapy sessions are typically 40 minutes long in an hour session. They no longer tell you check in our check out times. I gifted a massage to my coworker and the therapist stated how unhappy the staff was with there pay and really depended on tips to live. If there is an issue don't bother the manager they don't care. As well big problem with same day cancelations from the therapist!!! Good luck in the Mission Bay Plaza they only true care about signing up new members after the intro for sales numbers. No customer retention due to lack of effort and general enthusiasm for the job. read more
