Initially I was simply looking for a massage to help ease the tightness in all of my muscles - just something to relax all of the armor I had put up throughout the years. What I wasn't expecting, and what has become so much more valuable to me, was Erin's vast knowledge not only in therapeutic sports massage but her dedication to learning about all different scenarios and how to holistically treat the person. Most helpful and impressive to me is Erin's certification in mastectomy massage and therapy. I had a complete mastectomy with several rounds of radiation on my left side. The area has been swollen and rippled since my last round (in early December) and my plastic surgeon wanted me to break down the swollen and scared tissue before my next corrective surgery. After one singular session with Erin my surgeon was blow away at how much better it looked and was confident I would be ready for this next surgery with great results. Erin is truly curious and dedicated to the care of others, she looks beyond the conventional forms of body therapies and I am so fortunate to have found her, and you will be too

The massage itself was definitely on the rougher side because she was working through a lot of tight knots, but it was exactly what my back needed. You could tell she really knew what she was doing and focused on the problem areas instead of just going through the motions. By the time I left, my back felt significantly better--honestly better than I expected going in. If you're dealing with muscle tightness or a stubborn knot and want someone who will actually work it out, I'd definitely recommend R & R Wellness Studio.

I had a very tight shoulder and was feeling the after effects of some yard work I had performed earlier in the week. My lower back was hurting and my leg muscles seemed tighter than normal. I found Lee on Yelp and read the glowing reviews from other clients. I called and was fortunate to have her work me into her schedule on short notice. I met Lee and found her easy going personality made me comfortable and relaxed. I was escorted to a private studio at which point Lee took time to get information as to my condition and reason for being there. She explained her approach and I was then treated to a great massage. Lee does not do a deep muscle massage but the amount of pressure she applies seemed perfect to relax those muscles that were tighter than normal. When Lee was done I felt much better and my tightness was greatly reduced. I highly recommend Lee and will utilize her services in the future when I am in the area.

I don't know the full story, but I was genuinely surprised because this was one of the cleanest and most professional Asian massage establishments I've ever been to--and trust me, I'm a massage queen! So imagine my excitement when I happened to come across them again on Yelp and discovered that they had REOPENED! I immediately made an appointment, and I'm so happy I did. I just had a 90-minute massage with a light facial, both with Yumi, and she was AMAZING! She is officially my new go-to therapist. She was attentive, professional, and the massage was exactly what I needed. I walked out feeling completely relaxed. They've also made some renovations since I was last there. The front area, which used to have massage chairs, now has more of a hair-salon-style setup. They also offer scalp massage therapy, which I am VERY excited to try on my next visit! If you're looking for an amazing massage in a clean, comfortable, and professional environment, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I'm just so happy they're back! ‍ And Yumi... I'll definitely be seeing you again!

I'm not sure what her name was but she was very unfriendly and did not offer great customer service. At the time of the appointment it must've been the same lady I spoke with on the phone as she was also very rude. Onto the massage, the ambience was very nice and clean but the massage therapist were lackluster. They didn't check in on the pressure of the massage and also didn't remain consistent with the pressure throughout. Also they used their elbows when I booked a relaxation massage and this was not very "relaxing". I gave it a few days to think on the quality of massage but I ended up canceling my membership. I'd go somewhere else for a relaxing massage experience.

I deserve this…read more Sorry, had to start with that affirmation because these past 2 massages with Cindy (a whole year apart) have felt so luxurious, I couldn't believe I get to have them. Does this make sense? Like, don't only rich people come out and get these massages? Haha. This review is for all my broke folks who take themselves to the local foot spa that can be hit and miss, in between work hours and picking up kids, and sometimes get the relief they're looking for and sometimes not. This is for my people who know they deserve so much more-- like massages from Cindy. I was referred to her by a friend who lives in Gilroy. I live in San Jose (part of the reason why I don't make it down here as Morgan Hill is a bit of a drive). But this 2nd massage completely convinced me I am missing out on life if I'm not here on a more regular basis (even every 3 months rather than twice a year, lol). So I get the 80 min deep tissue Swedish massage with Cindy. Seeing her this 2nd time, she pulled out her notes and recalled my neck and back pain from a car accident, checked in with how I'm feeling, talked with me through her approach for the day where she would focus on some areas fora good time while making sure to provide full body care. She asked if there was anything else she could do to help me feel at ease and I replied, "your magic is already magic." Her massage table was gently heated beneath the sheets. She offered to increase the heat if I liked, which I agreed to. Helped so much with relaxing my muscles. Her technique is superb. She remembered that while I came in for "deep tissue" massage, I prefer light to medium pressure. Her hands can read where the aches and knots are, and I even become aware of them only at the moment she touches them! Warm. Velvet. Gentle. Firm. Forgiving. Home. That's what her massages feel like. I definitely deserve this. The vibe: thoughtfully themed with butterflies, which personally feels like I'm surrounded by my ancestors. The "tree of life" framed on the wall helps root me. The ambient music she plays calms my nervous system. I wanted to hide this as a secret, but I want the best for her because she always gives me her best. I really appreciate her.

I am a high energy person, and I have often felt the need to try to unwind. I have had several massages through the years, but nothing like the two I have received from Cristal. Cristal offers: Perfect (deep) pressure, applied intuitively. Magical energy healing! A beautiful, quiet, clean, safe private space I have been on the fence about hands-off energy work, often worrying about legitimacy and efficacy. That is beginning to change now, thanks to Cristal. For the majority of each session, I received a deep tissue massage. Toward the end, I received hands-off energy healing. The second time I received this, I had a lucid dream where I was able to fly! The wind was blowing on my face, and my whole body felt like it was tingling. After that, I had several other crazy dreams -- all in the span of 15 minutes. Cristal is truly exceptional!!
