One month you may get an excellent massage and then the next month that therapist is no longer there and the new person will not listen to your information about your massage preferences and muscle issues and will just rack on you. I know therapists need a break room however being so close to rooms without good filters is bad. It constantly smells like old food. Sometimes the therapist will come out to greet you and she's still chewing her food. They know the schedule however they don't seem to be able to tell when a client was there last and who the therapist was or anything about the client. Looking for a new place.

The guy at the front desk was also the massage therapist(which is not a bad thing, he was very kind and respectful!!!) The atmosphere was very calming as they could dim the lights and there was faint music playing. My mom had gotten a certificate for this place by one of her customers and didn't have time to get a massage so she gave it to me. I had completely forgotten about it until the day it was about to expire so I had to make an appointment the same day it was going to expire but they were very nice about it and were able to squeeze me in and did not make any fuss about it (which I appreciate because I totally get how annoying that can be). When I got there the guy was very nice and remembered my appointment. The place was very clean, which I definitely appreciate in the current climate, and it smelled like fresh laundry. They made my first experience great and were extremely professional and sweet :)

I have been to the YaYa spa about 4-5 times now. The main treatment that I get is the 60 min…read morereflexology. The treatment is relaxing. They start by having you put your feet in warm water which is very relaxing. You get the reflexology done in a dimly lit room on a small bed next to other beds with clients beside you. They started by massaging my neck, shoulders, arms and hands. They eventually made their way to my feet and calves. They end the massage with hot towels & warm stones. *They accept walks- ins which is nice when you're in the mood for a spontaneous foot massage* Cons: 1.) The towels they use to dry your legs and feet off with are really rough and hurt a bit. 2.) the one time I got a full body massage instead of reflexology was really rushed. It was in a tiny room, the masseuse scratched my back to the point where it bled (it was an elderly lady so maybe she couldn't see?) The massage was terrible. I would only go for reflexology 3.) the reflexology room is shared with many clients so it's very communal. The only downside is some clients are not mindful and not courteous. Yesterday, a man's phone kept going off very loudly. Not to mention he was talking loud and fell asleep and started snoring extra loud. Some people really can't read the room. But the prices are really good! It's a nice treat once in a while. The customer service is always good too.

The spa itself is clean, quiet, and very relaxing. My only complaint is the checkout process. It's uncomfortable having the masseuse stand there watching while you're deciding how much to tip. On top of that, there's a sign suggesting tip amounts up to $50. It feels like unnecessary pressure and takes away from what was otherwise a great experience. Tipping should feel voluntary, not intimidating. Makes me feel like they are not paying the masseuse. If they changed the checkout process to give customers more privacy, the experience would be close to perfect. I'd still return because the massages are that good.
