Compared to the other Thai massage I had in Chinatown, I felt this on was more therapeutic and mindful of my body and range of motion. Some poses did hurt but in a good way and I walked away feeling stretched and ready for the next part of my day! I love the ambience of the room: super comfy cushions and pillows, a beautiful lamp that emits light patterns over the walls, and just a great smelling room. They also played really relaxing soothing music. We were asked to change into their loose Thai clothes which were super comfortable too (a T-shirt and Thai fisherman pants). My friend also enjoyed the massage very much. I would definitely return for their Thai massages again.

King Thai Massage did not mention that they would not be covered by SunLife and when my husband put the claim in through later that night it was rejected as King Thai Massage is a delisted provider. I am now out $60 on something I assumed would be 100% covered. I requested some accommodation by just refunding me the $25 RMT premium and the location refused. Needless to say I will never go back and I hope to warn others ahead of time as well.

I've never had a Thai massage before, but I'll definitely be looking for a local place and coming back here when I visit. I can't begin to tell you how much just one session made a difference with my Fibromyalgia pain. My husband also felt worlds better after his massage too. It was a great experience overall. The staff is super friendly, well trained, gentle when needed, and definitely know what they are doing. I can't wait until our next visit to Toronto so we can make another appointment.

I went during the xmas break and, like everywhere else in Chinatown, it was super busy I suppose with many people off work. I went upstairs to check in, and they led me downstairs, which was quiet and appeared to be an overflow area for when it was too busy upstairs. Lily was ok with English, and quite skilled too. I now know to ask for the pressure at the beginning if they don't ask, and she was good with heavy pressure, although not quite as intense as at XiangXiang. She also seemed to know where to apply pressure that would do the most good for me. I found that a good masseuse will know where the pressure is needed, without having to ask. The pacing was pretty good, although she was interrupted a couple times with admin but given how busy it was, it seemed not overly disruptive. She also seemed to have her eye on a surveillance monitor which was in the room, allowing them to keep watch on several different areas of the business. I haven't seen this anywhere else, but was understandable with how intense this place can get. I see that Yelp lists them as open until 10:30 pm which is at least an hour later than anywhere else, although I didn't confirm the hours during my visit. Overall a great experience and I will consider them in my top tier.

The service is great every visit. The owner is very professional and committed. All the therapist are experienced, and customer oriented. I love the they hear your pain points, before starting the massage, and focus on your pain points rather than just predefined steps. Everything is customizable as per your needs, like the pressure, pain points, area to be covered, kind of massage etc. I am a chronic migraine patient, i have tried many other places and physiotherapists when I have the migraine attack. None of them were helpful in pain relief but now I know where to go for immediate and effective outcome. They work magic in me. I had to take meds triptaines, ibuprofen , anti-inflammatory for days to get rid of pain or to ease it OR I pay them a visit get an hour of focused massage for an hour. Woot woot!!!
