My boyfriend called on my behalf to ask (very politely) if there was any way I could come back in, and she was incredibly kind and accommodating. I know pain medication for many is a critical part of their doctor prescribed treatment plan and I don't fault anyone for making the decision to use it. For me though even after my surgery I've always chosen and had success with other mechanisms to manage my pain including stretching, acupuncture, chiropractic, and massage which has always been my go to solution.
