Greeted with compassion by Natalia at reception, thorough intake and vitals taken by the very kind Hafsa, and a legit full doctors appointment with Dr. Gutmanovich (Dr. G.) this past Saturday. Had a horrible cough and really did not want to go anywhere, especially to the always long wait at the local ER, so gave this new office, WITHIN the CVS in Swampscott a shot. At 3:30 I found them online and put my name in for an appointment at 3:45. Could not believe it. Got right in, and, I needed scripts. Dr G. ordered the scripts as we talked. I walked out of the office, walked over to the Pharmacy, and scripts were waiting for me!!! No traveling to a pharmacy elsewhere, or being sent to another office...this was fantastic. And the staff here, I found out, are THE staff here. So my chances of seeing Natalia, Hansa, and Dr. G. for my next ailment, knock on wood, are pretty great. They have a full facility here. They do x-rays, stitches, pretty much anything that doesn't call for extreme care. Highly recommend!!!

I arrived at 5:15 on a Monday, was in the exam room before 6, and was out the door by 7. I was happy to be greeted by a receptionist to talk to, instead of entering my symptoms into a computer. The waiting room was a bit small and crowded, but I wasn't there too long as the staff was efficient. The nurse was okay, she forgot to ask some basic info like current prescriptions. My doctor was professional, amicable, and answered all my questions. Overall I'd go there again for when I'm feeling under the weather but don't want the hassle of making an appointment with my general practitioner

The doctor spent less then 5 minutes with me, told me it was a blood clot in my lung and that I need lab work. But their lab wasn't open on the weekend and to go to the hospital. What type of urgent care does not have a lab? How do they run any tests? So I went to the hospital and it was a pulled muscle. The hospital did not understand why I was sent there. Then when I filed a complaint they told me I would hear back in 30 days... guess who never heard back from them after multiple calls.

Their appearance alone set the wrong tone--tattoos on full display, scrubs so tight they were inappropriate, and a generally unkempt look. Even more concerning was their attitude: curt, dismissive, and flat-out mean. When you walk into a healthcare setting, you expect professionalism, courtesy, and at the very least, a welcoming demeanor. Instead, I felt judged, rushed, and unwelcome. First impressions matter, and if this is who they have representing the practice at the front desk, it reflects very poorly on the entire operation.

There is plenty of free parking in their parking lot, there is a receptionist on the first floor to give directions where to go or help with any other needs. Beth Israel's's Urgent Care is located on the second floor, there is an elevator a wheelchair if needed. The office suite is clearly marked urgent care, very important. If you are stressed or in a situation you don't want to have to second guess where to go. My doctor examined me thoroughly and had a medical assistant. My exam was quick. This is urgent care and being quick is a good thing. . I did not have to go to an emergency room for which could take hours maybe even days to be seen, especially at a non Beth Israel emergency room. Even then, taking up the space and time in an emergency room makes it difficult for those people that are really in crisis with a high need medical issue. If I needed an emergency room, BI Urgent Care would have sent me or made sure I got there safely. So this was the perfect option for me rather than waiting for an appointment after a minor car accident. Or emergency room. I'm very pleased with Beth Israel, as medical provider in all areas of care including surgeries. Hands down, the best option. Discharge/service note was giving to me at record speed and my medication was called in in the same manner. I've been coming for my primary care to this location for several years. Professional staff at the front desk make my visits run smooth. the doctor examined me, I felt confident in his ability to assess me. Today was pleasant and efficient I was in and out of there quickly. And that's what I want when you have been in an accident or some other life incident.

I trusted Dr. Lobo to repair my broken heel after she assured me I would regain about 90% of my…read morefoot function and return to a normal life. The reality was devastating. After surgery, my foot was left crooked and I developed a large open wound that was never explained to me. She put a cast over it without telling me anything. When I returned to have the cast changed and finally saw the wound, I almost fainted. No one had warned me about it, and at one point it was close to becoming necrotic. I had to stay in bed for two months because of severe swelling and fluid. Instead of receiving support, I was treated as if I was being dramatic while I was clearly in extreme pain and dealing with serious complications. I later learned that a screw had been placed directly through the middle of my joint, and I ultimately needed another surgery to try to correct the damage. To this day I am still suffering the consequences. I have difficulty walking and constant pain that now affects my legs and back. This surgery took away the active life I once had. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Dr. Lobo at all.

I was trying to get COVID tested today and here's what I've learned:…read more - Testings for people without symptoms are done in the afternoon only at this location and you have to paid out of pocket ($160). They will only take you in in the morning if you are experiencing symptoms. - You cannot make an appointment ahead of time, they only take walk-ins. It is first come first serve. - They can only fit in around 12 people before lunch. I was told that lines start forming as early as 2 hours before they open in the morning, around 6am. You will be waiting at the parking lot in open air so bring some essentials to make your experience less brutal. - If you are one of the first ones there then they'll let you register online and call you when they are ready for you. This is just what their protocols are as of today and things would certainly change. Just wanted to put this information out in hope to save someone's time and frustration. I've been to this location several times prior (before COVID). Five stars are for the majority of staffs who have been wonderful! And even if some of them appeared on edge please be kind, after all they must be under a lot of pressure not to mention risking their own health to help others.

I arrived at 9:00 am, happy to see the clear signage on the doors that it's open 7 Days a week 8am - 8pm, as I yanked on the door handle. It didn't budge. So I called the clinic's number where a chipper message announced that they open at 9:00 am on the weekends. I thought maybe they were a bit late in opening so I decided to try and reserve my place on-line. That didn't work either, that service was not available at this location. Finally, I looked at the website carefully and saw that this location was closed on Sundays and Mondays until the end of the month. Ug! Yes, I should have read the website more carefully. But when you're sick and grumpy it's hard to read confusing websites. The phone message could have warned me, the website could have been clearer. Why couldn't someone put a couple of signs on the windows?
