Door Systems handled the replacement of a rotted panel in one of our garage doors in a very professional manner from first phone call to payment of the invoice. The job was quickly measured, and priced. The work was done as promised with great care given to matching the panel to remaining ones, then finding and painting with the same Lowes paint. Nice to find a local Framingham business to support and being rewarded with great service. While the cost seemed high, it was comparable to one received from another servicer from a smaller firm Highly recommend! read more

Ronen was a lifesaver tonight! Our garage door opener completely broke down last night and was far too heavy to open manually so our car was outside in the bitter cold AND I have surgery scheduled for tomorrow. Our business involves moving heavy objects from the garage into the car and I would have had to carry them through the house to get the to the car outside. I contacted two companies with excellent reviews and the ability to schedule an appointment online. One of them called me back, completely disregarded the appointment I had scheduled and said the earliest they could see us was 5 days later. The other appointment was with Mass Garage - Ronen said he would see us the same day & kept in touch with us by text and phone to let us know when he was arriving. When he arrived he immediately knew what the problem was, explained what he was going to do and got it working quickly. However he wasn't satisfied and even though it was far past regular working hours he spent some extra time to get it working perfectly, better than it ever has worked since we've lived here. He took the time to explain what he was doing and pointed out several flaws in the way the door was originally installed. Normally this would be an opportunity for a repairman to try to upsell us to a much more expensive bill but he said "You're paying me to get your door working, not to do a big installation." and assured us that the door would work well for the foreseeable future. The only replacement part we had to pay for was minimal (a replacement cable). I don't know what these repairs normally cost but I got the sense that his price wasn't the cheapest but was reasonable. In my opinion it's worth paying a hard working, highly skilled technician what he/she is worth, especially when they are super responsive, arrive ASAP and do good honest quality work. Bonus: I was able to pay completely electronically by Apple Pay or credit card and get an email receipt. It's a small convenience but one I appreciated. read more

A appointment was made on April 8th for April 9th at 8am. I received a text a text at 6:45 am please allow a two hour window for arrival 5 hours later no show no call! Avoid this company if you need expert and timely service. read more

Garage Door Repair: Very communicative about his arrival window, and he arrived on schedule. He came fast and had a very pleasant interaction. read more

Worst customer service ever. I called the company because my garage door was stuck and wouldn't close down freely. The person I talked to told me it would cost me a flat rate labor charge of $129.00 and I had to pre pay them first. So I sent payment and made an appointment. Next day he came and just took a look and said I needed a new door. He didn't even get his hands dirty or even touch a screw driver. So basically I had to pay $129.00 for having someone come for less than 30mins,Just to tell me my current garage door is broken and need replacement? He didn't even do anything at all!!! That should consider a free estimate, and no one should be charge for something like that. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! -Attached a photo below for proof. read more

Mass Garage Doors Expert - Garage Door Services Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

Ronen is very experienced. He responded quickly and did a great job of replacing the springs and weather stripping and was very helpful in explaining what he was doing. read more

What a joke. After telling us that it would $89 to assess, he came over, didn't have the parts, would have to order the rubber strips and it would come to over $500. We called other more professional companies and it was half the cost of this fly-by-night operation. When we discussed it with him, he said, "Yes, that's the way I operate". I predict that he will not win many customers with this arrogant attitude. read more

Booked an appointment for next day using online appointment booking form. Received a callback but couldn't get to the phone. Only info in the VM was to call them, but they closed 10 minutes after the VM was left so I couldn't reach them. I used the online form since my day was meeting heavy at work, but we needed someone to come out and provide an estimate. Turns out they were calling to tell me the estimate wasn't free and would cost $89. Why not post that on your site where it's easy to see and/or on your online appointment booking form? I didn't have anyone show up, but they did call me 13 minutes into my booked appointment time, which I took time off of work to attend. Why not leave those details in the VM and ask someone to leave a message confirming if they still want the appointment? Very simple way to overcome this. Overall, horrible communication to their customers. Won't be using them as first impressions matter and this first impression was pretty shitty and a waste of time on my end. read more

Fast response to initial request for repair should have been my first warning...but came out and left door in worse shape than when he came out. My garage door was partially working, and he correctly identified that spring needed to be replaced, but during repair as garage door was opening, loud crunching sound and second spring ruined, and gentleman telling me that second spring also in bad shape and needs to replaced. I was standing there during entire repair. When I said the second spring did not look like that before you came, he refused to finish the job and just left... and left the garage not functioning... I get accidents happen but to leave a customer in a worse off situation and completely leave the job is unacceptable business. read more

I called in the morning and left a message. Ronen called me back within a few minutes and walked me through scheduling an appointment via his website. A little clunky to do that instead of doing everything on the phone but maybe it's easier for him that way. This process involved prepaying a standard $129 charge. No free estimate, though I did not ask for that. Ronen was available the same morning. When he arrived, he explained that the garage door lock handle was not being turned completely and thus was causing the door to not open. He inspected the opening mechanism and lubricated the moving parts and lock. While he was there, he offered (for free) to inspect my other three garages and tuned them up as well. If I was able to, I would probably dock half a star for small things: clunky initial administration, lack of an estimate, and having more of an all-business demeanor (vs overly friendly). Still, I found Ronen to be professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would definitely use him again. read more

Ronen helped fix my issue and provided above and beyond service for us, including lubricating the rollers (pulleys?). He also installed new light bulbs. I definitely would recommend anyone to call him for anything related to garage doors. read more

Ronen got back to us right away, and was able to schedule service quickly. He also was incredibly flexible in follow-up. I'm never excited about a broken garage door, but it's good to know that Ronen has us covered.. read more

I had a very good experience with Ronen. Our garage was randomly opening/closing, which turned out to be a 5 minute fix. Instead of just leaving at that point, Ronen proceeded to examine the rest of the garage door. Turns out the door was not closing properly because of some problems with the rubber padding at the side of the garage, and the garage door was not properly aligned due to an issue with how it was installed. He also gave me some advice on the type of light bulb I should be using in the garage opener to prevent damage to the internal electronics. Anyway... I called him for a simple issue, and he fixed it and also all the other issues he saw instead of just turning a blind eye. Great service... would use him again. read more

A great customer service experience! Ronen was super responsive and I was able to book him the same week for an issue with my garage door. He arrived on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem, and the price was very reasonable. In addition, he suggested installing a door handle to use in case I need to manually open the garage, which was a great idea. Glaf we went with him! read more

Fantastic service! Ronen was able to recommend and install the best automatic garage door opener within a few days. He is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. read more

Our garage door broke (days before Christmas) and I called a few local technicians expecting not to get anyone out without paying a premium until the New Year. I was pleasantly surprised that Ronen was able to come out and have my door repaired within 24 hrs. He quoted labor and parts upfront, was very transparent (and fair) on his pricing, and communicated well. He consulted with me as he found issues and advised on what to replace, but wasn't trying to upsell me on stuff that didn't need fixing. Very professional. read more

Quick response, great service! Thank you Ronen for your same-day service

The door showed up in less time than expected and was installed professionally. Couldn't be happier.

Ronen was responsive, even called to say he could arrive early, quickly worked his magic and presto, our keypad was working! I would definitely recommend him. He's our guy! read more

Ronen did a fantastic job replacing the broken Torsion Springs on our automatic garage door opener. On my first call, he answered his phone on the second ring and was able to make an appointment to come repair our garage door 2 days later. On the day of the service, he arrived on time, had all the parts necessary, performed the work expertly and explained what he was doing and why. Ronen was professional yet personable, and I thought the price was very fair. I would highly recommend Ronen and Mass Garage Door Experts for any garage door repair needs. read more

Ronen came over and quickly diagnosed what was wrong with my garage door and jumped into fixing it. It was quick and easy and he even helped me with some issues with the locks on both doors while he was here. Super helpful and answered all my questions. He was also very communicative in terms of letting me know when he'd get here and everything. And the booking process online was really easy and quick for me as well. I would definitely recommend him to someone needing help with their garage door, great overall experience! read more

The torsion spring on my garage door broke, so I couldn't open it. What to do? I turned to Google and found Ronan and his company then went to Yelp. It turns out he has more reviews than the competition and most were really good. I called him, had a short chat, and he encouraged me to book the next available appointment directly from Yelp. I'm glad I did. He came on time the next day, did the work in about 45 minutes, and my garage door works perfectly. I got great service, quickly and for a reasonable price. I will definitely call him again if I need further service, and I will encourage my neighbors to call him as well. read more

Fast, prompt and professional. Ronen communicated throughout the process, was transparent on the cost of the repair job and made sure it was completed to a high level of quality. Will definitely recommend to friends and use again. read more

When a garage door breaks and you live in south Boston with limited street parking, it's a real headache. Luckily Ronan works on Sundays and doesn't even charge extra for weekend service! He was very prompt and had great communication on his arrival time and the work he did. Had the door back up and running in 20 minutes. Money well spent! Also the online scheduler and payment system via his website was very convenient. Definitely a well run operation! read more

Ronen is great. Got an appointment quickly, he tuned up the doors and went the extra mile, changing the bulbs to LED bulbs and programming a remote for me. He also pointed out something else in the garage that needed to be fixed, which I had not noticed. Rates are reasonable. I will definitely use him again! read more

Ronen Sisso and his wife are very hard workers and made me as happy as possible. She handles the office and quotes, he does the site inspections. I have a vintage car and needed my doors ripped out and new doors moved 6" out to fit the car. Ronen came out twice, measured the car and the space. he did great work, and even came back twice more to adjust some issues and the last time to just make it better looking (I didn't even ask). He has a nice personality, left everything cleaned up, and I think really cares about the customer experience. I didn't even get any other quotes. Only one other person returned my call, and then never showed up. IF YOU NEED TO GET IT DONE, choose MGD Expert. The economy is too good now, everyone is busy, but Ronen takes the time to get back to the customers. A+ is something I never experience, he gives that service! PS, I had my old doors repaired a few times by other giant companies, they try to renew and charge for things you don't need. It's always a different guy, and half the time when they get back to you they can't even remember which customer you are. Stick with Ronen and get the same person every time and the same great service. As I can see everyone loves them on yelp. read more

I used Mass Garage Doors Expert when I was having trouble with my garage door. Ronen showed up an hour early so I wasn't at the house to meet him, but he was almost done when I arrived 20 minutes later! He explained what was wrong (broken springs) and what had caused them (cables were installed too tightly). While there, he also replaced a lightbulb in the controller, and showed me how to know if the springs needed to be replaced. When I asked about a new keypad, he said I probably only needed to replace the battery, but if I wanted, he can also install a new keypad. He swapped out the battery and sure enough, the buttons were more responsive. It was easy to book him and pay him, no unexpected charges, and no upsells. I'm super happy with his service! read more

Called Ronen late on a Sunday afternoon after our condo garage door got stuck halfway and we could not move it due to some tangled wires. He arrived within 2 hours, was able to not just fix the obvious issue, but did a very thorough review of the garage door and fixed a few other things to hopefully prevent future issues. The price was very reasonable for the service, and would definitely use him again. read more

Ronen quickly repaired a garage door that I would have otherwise replaced entirely. It is an ancient door that had seen its day, and Ronen came by and had it up and functional in less than an hour. I would have called months ago if I knew that all it needed was a repair. Totally worth every penny. read more

Ronen was very punctual and found the issue quickly. I would definitely recommend. Hopefully I won't run into another problem soon but wouldn't hesitate to call again. read more

Mass Garage Door is a family run business. Essentially Ronan and his wife ran the business. He completed the job according to his schedule and did extra work to raise the old door opener at no cost so it would operate correctly. After I paid him I noticed that he missed small things due to the fact that it took a lot longer to finish and by the time he was done it was too dark. He had no problem when I called him. He returned the next day after his other job and completed it. We are very happy with his workmanship and responsiveness. We will gladly recommend him to our friends and neighbors. read more

Fantastic service! Would give six stars if I could! Ronan met with me and took time to show me why my garage doors had broken. He pointed out where the original installers had set the track parts upside down, why the door pieces were collapsing, and how to do maintenance on my garage door opener sensors. He researched and found the original manufacturer so we could order parts instead of having to replace the entire door. Very pleased. Will definitely use again. read more

Ronen is truly amazing and does a fantastic job with the least amount of money. He will not charge you anything extra or ask you to replace things that dont need replacement. As a matter of fact, when I asked him to replace a part, he fixed it for me for free and saved me money. He is punctual and very honest and is a great person to call in case of a garage door issue. I will most definitely call him again if I have trouble with my garage door again. However, the way he fixed the door, I do not believe I will have to call him for that door for quite some time now. read more

Ronen and his wife are simply great! I called on Sunday and they called me back. First good sign. Ronen's wife was practical about my garage issues and wanted to make sure I didnt overspend or waste money. Second good sign. Ronen was able to come today, Monday, and was in great communication with me. Third good sign. Then he did a great job and fixed the problem at a really reasonable cost. Fourth good sign! Just a really nice, handy, responsible, hardworking man. A five star experience! Jodie Roslindale read more

Ronen doesn't just have a debonair name, he's also extremely professional, communicative, and effective. Our garage door made a terrible racket going down, sometimes to the degree that it would kick back and go back up, so we would have to get out of the car, hold down the button inside the garage, exit through our front door, and then get back in the car. We were fed up. The positive things I experienced with Ronen: - Rapidly replied through Yelp messaging - Offers a free visit for a quote - Has an online booking system set up, with availability at varied times, including weekends, so I could quickly book a time without needing to get him on the phone - Called while on his way to confirm our 8am appointment and to confirm my address - Right off the bat showed me his license and gave me his card, without me asking, so that I would have that info that it's good for me to have but that I wouldn't have even have thought to ask for - Quickly diagnosed the several overlapping problems - Offered to do the necessary work on the spot, and quoted me an amount for labor, and for materials (a new sensor), showing me the price of the sensor on his website, without me even getting around to asking for a quote. The price was reasonable. - Finished in just a half hour - Accepts credit cards, and is clearly well-organized in his customer management and billing through his phone, a side-benefit being that I had an emailed receipt immediately - Showed me how to make sensor adjustments to effectively 'future-proof' his work - The door now runs like its rails are made of butter. We can now actually use the garage without dreading it. Highly recommended. read more
