This is the worst daycare I have ever been a part of. We had two children there for a month, an…read moreinfant and a three year old. We are pretty sure that my infant son was placed in a chair from the minute we got there till he was picked up. Kids were always crying when I went in there, and I witnessed one child on his stomach in a swing. We can not prove it, but we are confident that the teacher that ran the three year old room spanked my child. He has never been sparked, or threatened with spanking, and he acted out, and named the teacher that spanned him. He said that she spanked him for having an accident in his pants. The management showed no interest in solving our complaint. Do not send your kids here!

My daughter isn't even four yet and knows all of her letters, can write her name and several other words, and can count to 20. She loves going to school and receives a great mixture of playtime, art time, and learning. They even helped a lot with potty training 1.5-2 year olds. I am much happier here than I was with an in home provider. This place isn't incredibly cheap, but they do accommodate hours from 630-6, so when you break it down for the number of hours of care, it is a much better deal than I had with an in home daycare provider. Plus they provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks. They also give you a week of vacation to use after a year and you don't have to pay vacation for the employees.

If you are looking for a place for your child/children to be neglected, this is the place for you…read more After countless issues with the teachers, directors and most of all the owners of The Early Years, Inc. we have removed our children from this place. I cannot even call it a daycare after the amount of negligence they displayed over the time my children were there. Things started out "okay" with the typical daycare issues but it just continued to get worse and worse. We caught an infant "teacher" laying babies down flat on the floor and forcing the babies to hold their own bottles to feed themselves. My child was one of them, at only 6 months old. I addressed this with the teachers, directors and I called DCFS and reported the incident. They were cited for a violation as per DCFS guidelines, babies are to be held while being fed a bottle. All the teachers had to "sign a waiver" stating they'd hold the babies to feed them.. No accountability for the "teacher" who started this, no communication on how sorry they were this happened nor was it confirmed that all the other parents were made aware that this happened. Most recently my child's diaper went over 6 hours without getting their diaper changed. When we questioned them about it, the director checked back on the cameras and told us that the teachers "missed" changing my child's diaper, not once, not twice, but three times. Their claim was that they had a teacher being trained in the room and my child just somehow got missed during every diaper change... There were countless other issues that occurred... The amount of negligence, unprofessionalism, and lack of accountability displayed by the teachers, directors, and owners (Alexis McNece and her husband) is absolutely disgusting. I can only hope that nothing worse happens to any other children at this place. Be warned and be aware as they WILL NOT communicate anything that happens to your children unless you push for answers.

They had my 2 yr old watching television multiple times throughout the day and they plug all the children in to a tv at like 430-500, so if you work your child will be plugged in for the remainder of the day instead of playing or being engaged. Since there was so little stimulation we started having behavior issues with my son. When we switched him to this daycare there were instant problems with him being aggressive with other kids and not listening, we had no such issues at his previous daycare. Not to mention he was not aggressive like this at home. His teacher in his first classroom was nice and was active with the kids but they change shifts during nap time so the person you drop your child off with isn't the person who you'll see when you pick your child up, they typically don't have a clue how your child's day was- I found this irritating and unnerving. When my son moved into the 2 1/2 class room his behavior became worse, he became more aggressive but the icing on the cake was when one of his teachers told me casually that my son has ADD and that she knew this only bc she has a grandchild that has ADD. The directors apologized to me but my son was now looked at differently bc we reported him and he was already "the bad kid". We finally found a new daycare where the teachers are good and interact with the kids and we haven't had one incident with my son having aggressive behavior. So if you have a normally active toddler I wouldn't recommend this daycare bc they was they do things is terrible and how they interact with children isn't beneficial.
