I prefer to eat Indian cuisine out rather than order it in or have it as a take-away. I like the authenticity of the serving vessels, the decor, and the whole make-up of an Indian restaurant that makes the dining experience complete. Sometimes though, I've had a long day and the benefits of eating in the comfort of my own home outweigh those of venturing out. On these occasions, I reach for the phone and dial Masala Works.
As well as the usual classic variations of baltis, there is a diverse menu of specialties, including my usual order of South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken. A novel touch is that Masala Works have a Healthy Eating menu too, with low-fat dishes including vegetable, chicken and even Quorn options. They are made as healthy as possible by using ingredients like low-fat yoghurt and olive oil.
