Lovely decor
Sarretta M.

Lovely decor welcomes you. There is seating for about 30 plus some high stools/chairs around a bar-like counter. We arrived just after 11 am and they really weren't quite ready, but one lady showed us to a table and gave us menus and a carafe of water with glasses. After 10-12 minutes another person arrived (to cook?) and the young man at the host stand immediately grabbed his order book and came to take our order. Everything we ordered was delicious and we look forward to returning

Fish Pakora

I really enjoyed the sauces with the fish pakora. The tomato and green dips were very refreshing with it, and the fish wasn't so heavily fried that it felt like it clogged arteries. I prefer the other interpretations of aloo ghobi, where it's more crispy, but I think that's a more Indo-China style of it. The garlic naan was nice and crispy, but could use a bit more garlic. The tikka masala tasted a bit different from what I'm used to, but I liked the slightly different spices used. Very cute spot close to base.

This was our first time here since they took over the Jamaican restaurant that was there before. I found out they've been open for over a year now and luckily it's only a 10-minute drive from us. It was pretty late but we were craving for some Indian food. We ordered to go on Saturday and there were still a good amount of people in the restaurant. The gentleman that took our order was nice and knowledgeable since we had a few questions on their menu items. We got a few orders of their chicken masala and garlic naans. Everything tasted great. My littles actually loved it, which is surprising because they tend to stick to very simple dishes. We'll definitely be back here to try other things. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by. You won't be disappointed!

Garlic naan and cheese naan in the back

I came by 5 months ago for the first time and have returned 5-6 times since then. I have to admit I have cheated on masala bites but only because I live in Monument and the drive is far. After many disappointments I will be making the drive to Masala Bites every time! The food is always fresh and delicious. The spices are always on point and the service is excellent! It's a nice and quiet restaurant where you can enjoy your meal peacefully. This is the best Indian food you'll find in the springs! Give it a try!

So delicious!!! We ordered through Postmates and unfortunately we were missing four mango lassies (I'm dying to try them after eating this delicious food). We got a little bit of everything, chicken tikka, paneer tikka, mango chicken, chicken samosa, garlic & cheese naan. The food... incredible.. like if I died right now, I'd be happy (except I'd need my mango lassie to seal the deal ). Thank you for providing delicious, fairly priced, QUALITY food

Best new place in town I've found in a long time. Lamb kababs and garlic naan are great, I plan to bring the fam back to try everything on the menu! Service was friendly and attentive!

Definitely not the best Indian food but also have to give two stars due to finding a long hair in my chicken masala. Please do better.

We were excited to discover an Afghan-Indian restaurant and decided to give it a try. We initially…read moreassumed they would offer Afghan and Indian fusion cuisine, but it appears that they offer dishes from both regions separately, giving guests the option to choose from either cuisine. The décor is predominantly Afghan-inspired, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The seating is spacious, comfortable, and clean, and we really enjoyed the open-kitchen concept. We ordered the spicy chicken kabobs, combination kabob platter (chicken and lamb), and lamb rogan josh with naan. The kabob platter came with basmati rice, red cabbage salad, and chickpea masala. Everything was freshly prepared, flavorful, and enjoyable. The host was very pleasant and welcoming, and they even offered us a complimentary dessert to celebrate our son's birthday, which was a thoughtful touch and made our visit extra special. One suggestion from our perspective: Afghan and Indian cuisines each have their own unique characteristics, while also sharing some similarities. It would be wonderful if the restaurant could highlight these similarities and differences and help introduce diners to aspects of both cuisines that they may not be familiar with. Perhaps consider offering an "India & Afghanistan" tasting platter featuring small portions from both cuisines. That way, guests could experience the flavors of both worlds in one meal! We will definitely be back the next time we're in the neighborhood.

What an unexpected find in Colorado Springs!…read more We're visiting from California and originally stopped at another Indian restaurant that's well known for its buffet. After seeing the food, it just didn't look very appetizing to us, so we decided to try Urban Tandoor instead -- and we are SO glad we did. We grew up in Delhi, which is arguably the food capital of India, so when it comes to North Indian food, our taste buds can be a little demanding! From the moment we walked into Urban Tandoor, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful atmosphere and warm hospitality. Then we saw Rumali Roti on the menu -- something that is surprisingly difficult to find at Indian restaurants in the U.S. -- and immediately knew we had to try it. For dinner, we ordered the Seekh Kebab, Rumali Roti, and Dal Makhani, and everything was excellent. The flavors were authentic, well balanced, and genuinely reminded us of food back home in India. Our server, Aaryaa, was incredibly pleasant and made the entire experience even better. We enjoyed the food so much that we actually came back the very next day for lunch! This time we ordered the Tandoori Platter, another Seekh Kebab, and of course, more Rumali Roti. When you're visiting a city for only a short time and choose to eat at the same restaurant twice, that probably says everything! On our second visit, Dev took great care of us. He was welcoming, personable, and genuinely enjoyable to talk to. Thank you, Dev, for the wonderful hospitality. Urban Tandoor gave us something we weren't necessarily expecting to find while traveling through Colorado Springs: authentic Indian flavors that brought back memories of Delhi. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better hospitality. Absolutely worth the visit -- and clearly, for us, worth visiting twice!

She went and asked, returned and said yes however, they would need to charge me for two entrées, the salmon entrée, and the SAAG entrée. What sense does that make?. What Restaurant can't swap out a protein with another, gladly pay a few dollars extra but to pay $25 for each entrée? I ended up ordering the tandoori salmon which came barely warm, the masala sauce on the side and the rice were also barely warm. My companion said her meal was barely warm as well, butter chicken with rice. A waitress takes your order, and then a stupid robot carries it out for the server, Manager in tow, removes the plates from the robot and put it on your table. How long were our entrées sitting inside the robot which is not enclosed before it arrived at table? My friend suggested this place, I remember it being pricey three years ago when I visited last. My go to for Indian cuisine is Pakwan, Turmeric or Shri Ganesh. Next time!
