They consistently mess my order up and overcharge me. I usually order shake with protein powder and they forget to add the powder 20% of the time, while still charging me for it. Usually I'm in a hurry and can't go back. Finally I've decided I'll just go somewhere else not worth the hassle.

I've been coming often for the last year and the drinks are always good to me but the last 3 times I've come this month, all of my drinks were never full. The first time it happened, it was ok bc things happen. Then the next day it happened, I was in a rush and just left. & for the 3rd time it happened, I just didn't want to deal with it but I would like what I pay for especially since they have raised their prices. 4 stars bc the manager or owner there is great!

Tried Scooters for the first time & wow, I'm obsessed! I got the peach mango quencher with green tea and it was absolutely delicious! Wasn't super sugary at all, just how a tea should be! Hubs got a pb power smoothie and loved every sip. They even had a pup cup and added a treat on top Will be returning here for sure!!

Here, it did not. The scramble was bland, the seasoning barely perceptible, and the burrito lacked anything resembling a defining flavor. Cholula provided most of the excitement. A single slice of orange arrived alongside it, less a garnish than an afterthought. The dish ultimately tasted like precisely what it appeared to be: tofu dusted with turmeric and wrapped in a tortilla. The service model was equally puzzling. Drinks are collected yourself, dishes are cleared yourself, water is not brought to the table, and my meal arrived with a fork but no knife. None of this is inherently objectionable, but it helps to explain the system, particularly to first-time visitors. A restaurant cannot expect guests to understand its rules when no one bothers to tell them what they are. The coffee was good, though sweeteners required another small scavenger hunt. Perhaps regulars know exactly where everything is, clear their plates without thinking, and return happily for the atmosphere. For a visitor, however, the "vibes" were doing considerably more work than the kitchen.

This has been put on our no list now. When we ordered today, my son asked about Caesar salad and the woman at the counter did not say that they didn't have them. Then when they brought the food out, she said it's not an option. Why not say it when we ordered. Last time my bowl was missing the goat cheese, and I had to ask for it. I also added chicken and mushrooms to my bowl and I literally received about 5-6 mushrooms, which equals more than a dollar a mushroom. This time, my side salad was supposed to have balsamic and had another dressing. My son had the burger and said that the consistency was weird. My other son had the same sandwich he always has and the bread was different, though the menu didn't indicate that it was.

I ordered the Cure cold-pressed juice (pineapple, apple, and spinach), which was light, refreshing, and just what I needed to recharge. For food, I went with the tomato burrata toast topped with ricotta, pesto, fresh tomatoes, basil, burrata, and a drizzle of olive oil--absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and balanced without being too heavy. Service was quick and friendly, and since the restaurant wasn't very busy, it made for a calm, relaxing breakfast spot. I asked (at the time I asked for ice) if they don't put ice in their smoothies. The woman, who was different than the one who made it, said it depends on who makes it. It is named ICED brew smoothie. The name would imply it would be cold. It was also very thin, likely because of the lack of ice. For the $16 I paid: $12, plus the add ins of kale, almond butter and protein powder, this was definitely not worth the $. I could not recommend that you order this. I did try their granola bar which was very good.

As soon as we walked in, the staff welcomed us, making us feel right at home. The staff really knew their stuff and suggested the French toast as a must-try, while my fiancé went with the turkey sandwich. When our food arrived, it looked amazing! The French toast was so fluffy and perfectly cooked I'd give it a solid 10/10, especially with the fresh fruit and maple syrup on top. My fiancé loved his turkey sandwich too; he couldn't stop raving about the freshness of the ingredients. Drinks are going to be drinking, Not that I've gotten that out of the way... I've always heard such great things about Bird Tree Cafe. And I hadn't gone until yesterday! Figured I'd go before the farmers market across the street in Acacia Park. I got the bookworm latte and it was so good. I was worried it would be too sweet (it was a little sweet), but the brown sugar cinnamon syrup they make really balanced it out. It was so good. It was creamy, dreamy, and the caramel was decadent. I didn't get any food--just the coffee unfortunately, but I do plan on coming back! $7.25 (I think) for a latte is a bit pricey, but the drink is really good. So if you're gonna spend a bit extra, go there for a coffee instead of Starbucks. Service was quick for a long line and the hanging plants and lights made for such a great vibe. I cannot wait to come back and try their breakfast and more lattes!

Outside you park along the slanted type of parking that you find downtown in some of these shops. nothing too crazy about $1.50 per hour. From the outside, it's a nice little area if you wanna get out of the house and walk around a little bit typical downtown type of layout the front of the restaurant has its own seating area so I imagine that if you had a small pup, you could probably bring it and chill out in the front there too. As you walk in, it reminds me of the old-school diners that had the counter right at the entrance and some of the old-school diners that you find in LA from my past very welcoming as I walked in, there's a rope area where they walk you to your seat and you can see the rest of the dining area. There are several tables there typically 2 to 4 seats and a couple of boots along the wall. It has a very diner-y feel, which is what you would expect in this joint, and definitely what I was looking forward to. The crowd was very diverse. It was not like some of the places up north where it felt like I might be a little bit out of place. Our host quickly seated us, and our server quickly, came to the table and took our order for drinks. After a couple of minutes, she returned, took our order made some recommendations and we ordered the quarter sized Merle, and I had the full-size breakfast burrito. Now you might be a little bit taken back because the prices are a little bit high, but you get what you pay for. What we got was great quality, food, and plentyful servings. How do we known, we could've shared a half size of a Merle, and realistically one full-size burrito. I'm not mad though, since I was able to bring half of my burrito home and enjoy it this morning. This place has a reputation of having the best breakfast burrito, and I tend to agree at this point their hashbrowns are thinly shredded like the kind that you find in some of those little hole in the wall places the eggs and the sausage were great the sausage being little chopped up perfect size around portions mixed in with the rest of the ingredients. The standout here is their green salsa. Everybody kept raving about it and how you should try it boy, they were not wrong. I had half-and-half gravy and salsa on top of my burrito and I wanna say I tore that salsa side up pretty quickly. They were very accommodating even when I asked for an extra serving, I was not charged for it. All in all, I will come back. I look forward to checking out the rest of their menu, and I will keep in mind that their portions can definitely be shared at full-size.

My friend had the burrito and it was huge! They do ask if you want a full or a half which is considerate. Restroom had one stall and was basic. Overall exactly what I'd expect from a diner and would go back when in the Springs again.
