In addition, the wine is delicious, and uniquely and beautifully packaged. However, few people stay at the farm house when they visit and they are really missing out. The house itself has been thoughtfully and masterfully updated and modernized and has many comforts including some of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on in Europe, high thread-count sheets and pillows, super-plush towels, and beautiful bathtubs. Every detail is in good taste, the house is kept immaculately clean, and the staff is lovely from the groundskeepers, to the host, to the cleaning ladies. Breakfast was delicious and offered local products, some of which they produced themselves. There is a beautiful, and very private, pool to take a dip in at any time. And after breakfast we fed the Iberian pigs on the property breakfast scraps which was a lot of fun. Both the location and the woman managing the property, Lory, made our trip to Catalonia and the Costa Brava. We had such a great time hanging out and Lory's recommendations were incredible. The beaches she suggested were the cleanest, least touristy, and most picturesque I've ever been to in the Mediterranean, and I've been to some incredible beaches. She made reservations for us at incredible restaurants, places that were small, used food from their own gardens and local artisans, and off-the-radar spots no visitor could ever find on their own. Again, she made our stay there our most favorite place in our month long trip across Spain and France. Lory alone makes staying at Bell-Lloc more than worth it. The ride was beautiful as we came closer to Montserrat, the basilica was phenomenal, the market was amazing. I ended up purchasing two delicious cheeses - goat and truffle. The walk to the cross was challenging as we had limited time but well worth it. It's an uphill climb. I loved the family history of the winery. The stability of the family to keep the property in the family for 36 generations since 964 was incredible. The vineyards were started in the 1800's. The ambience was perfect with stone cellars and towers. Great place for an event. Loved it! If you go to Barcelona, DON'T miss it!

We started the day with a windsurfing lesson on the Mediterranean Sea. On the drive there, Antoine described the Sitges area--its history and culture. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and pointed out all the major things visitors should know, along with great recommendations for things to do. What really set Antoine apart, though, were the little things he did throughout the day. After our windsurfing lesson, the sand was unbelievably hot! I was stranded, standing on my sail to avoid burning my feet, and Antoine ran over, grabbed my sail, and helped me off the beach. It was such a minor effort, but it perfectly reflected how attentive he is. For lunch, he took us to an amazing local restaurant and patiently walked us through the menu, explaining the dishes. Later, when we decided to relax on the beach, he even arranged towels and an umbrella for us to borrow since we hadn't brought any. Again, it was those thoughtful touches that made the experience so memorable. Antoine was simply fantastic with my 15-year-old son, engaging him with ease and making us feel like he wanted to be there with us throughout the day. If you're looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, personable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your experience unforgettable, I can't recommend Antoine highly enough.
