Honestly what is people's time worth? Do not come here for a workers compensation evaluation. Once…read moreyou come you have to come here for the evaluation every week. It's bullshit! They turn the TVS off after 5p so you have nothing to to keep you occupied while you wait. Can't see where you are in line either. A "perk" what a joke. Mind you not the women behind the counters fault because they don't know. Why do they turn off the T. for people who are waiting? Don't know! After waiting for over an hour and a half I was called to the desk and offered an alternative, a telehealth call on your phone in one of their rooms. Just have to find a doctor to do it and you will be seen that way! Wait what?!? Come on now. I'm frustrated beyond reason due to pain from waiting so long and now this! I was then told, with a smirk by the other "nurse" behind the desk, "you are behind those here for urgent care. You have to wait because your only a follow up and these other people have a medical need". Boom goes my brain! The nurse "dealing" with me states I have no choice but to wait or come back in the morning because I chose them as my WC doctor!! No I came here for urgent care. Convinient MD is for urgent care primarily. They do not have space for follow up care therefore SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR WORK RELATED INJURIES!

Now they don't take care of everything, but just ask and they will let you know and if they don't do a certain thing you may need, they will help you on where to go for your current need. They really are convenient.

My PCP urged me to seek care as they could most likely be able to do some imagining. However, after waiting four hours they told me after not even examining me that imagining would not be useful, unless it was and MRI which they couldn't do,. The PA was dismissive and left me waiting in a room for over an hour an a half. I realize there were allot of people who needed to be seen and cared for and I was in not need of as urgent care as some. However, an exam, and being told, sorry, we can't help you is unacceptable

In fact, I've gone to this location three different times for such issues. All three times I was dismissed and given some ibuprofen. One of the nurses actually told me that "I should try spending more time outside and taking a walk" as a remedy to my health issues. Turns out I had a brain tumor. Pretty sure taking a walk isn't going to cure that. The nursing care I received was apathetic, lackluster and degrading. The same nurse who suggested I "go outside and take a walk" to help with my debilitating migraines also snidely commented on the fact that I was using medical terminology. When describing my symptoms, she scoffed and said, "What are you, healthcare?" I am actually, and I would never treat my patients like you do. Head CT scans are pretty standard when it comes to incessant, debilitating migraines. I finally got a headscan - a whole 30 seconds of everyone's time - and was diagnosed with a meningioma. No thanks to the staff at Brighton Urgent Care. I implore you to go anywhere else.

I was walking home from the bus station one day and saw this place. I figured, why not call? What's to lose? They immediately were so kind, took my insurance, helped me. My PT, Dahne, is absolutely incredible. She has helped me go from barely being able to walk, to being able to climb Katahdin and run seven miles. She has listened to my goals and helped me achieve them- and it's hard work, but she pushes me and teaches me about how strong our bodies can be. I have never met another person that has inspired me so much in my fitness journey. I am so, so grateful for her. I'm still healing- MCL still gets spicy- and I'm so glad I have Dahne to help me. I am kind of stunned to find such a negative review of this doctor here. Dr. Larson was my doctor…read morefor about 2 years when I was a professor living in Portland and I found her medical care to be excellent. I saw her on at least 5 occasions, and each time, I found her staff professional and pleasant. During examinations, she answered all of my questions thoughtfully, and I found her very personable in her interactions with me. Dr. Larson's style of care I would describe as non-interventionist and holistic: she was not eager to prescribe medications for every little thing, and she asked me a lot of questions not just about specific ailments but about my broader health and well-being. I wish I had written a review before I moved away from Portland since I would remember more specific details, but I truly miss her medical care and expertise. I found her superbly professional and knowledgeable. And this is a more minor issue, but I found the fact that her offices are located in the ground floor of a building that was formerly a large home very comforting. The examination rooms were all properly clinical, certainly, but the rooms had real furniture and were warm and comfortable. In some ways this felt like visiting a traditional family doctor. Medical care has become, if anything, too impersonal and clinical. I really appreciated how Dr. Larson took care to create an environment for her patients that felt more like a welcoming space for her practice. I really can't recommend her highly enough.

I know that everyone has their own tastes when it comes to personal care, but do yourself a favor…read moreand don't use this woman as your doctor. I've had a number of bad doctor experiences over the years, but this was by far the worst. Dr. Larson was recommended to me when I first moved to the Portland area and didn't know where to start when it came to finding a doctor. I've been lucky enough to stay pretty healthy over the past few years, so I didn't have to see her often, but I don't think there was ever a time I walked out of her office thinking 'Wow, I'm so glad this woman is my health care provider.' The straw that broke this camel's back was a recent experience over the 4th of July holiday. I called the office on the 4th (which was a Thursday) and left a message, acknowledging the holiday and asking to please be called ASAP. I did not get a call until the following Wednesday, which is an eternity later when you're sick. The other staff her is generally uninterested and slightly unpleasant, and when I signed up for their online services I started getting spam emails and phone calls. In the time that I used Dr. Larson as my physician, she referred me to an incompetent ENT who retired a few weeks after seeing me (so glad I trusted my gut and got out of there before engaging in procedures that would have needed months of follow up). Maybe we're getting too personal now, but my point is that this was the worst doctor I've ever been to, and people shouldn't have to suffer through mediocre health care, especially when there are awesome doctors out there (and it's not like we don't pay for the visits).

Kathy, one of many medical assistant at that practice, is so sweet and professional. The front desk staff as a whole are nice, but there's one receptionist that needs to work on her attitude. Every time I've checked in with her, she's just very snippy. Maybe she's having a bad day, but I've checked in with her more than five times so I'm not so sure. However, don't let that deter you because the care there is exceptional and they'll do whatever they can to facilitate your needs. If you are a Mercy patient, sign up with Follow My Health.
