This local office (Portland, Maine) has proven to be the friendliest and most accessible staffing agency I have worked with since the 1990's! As a person over fifty, negotiating the job market in the 21st century is more challenging than ever, despite my education and long-term work experience. I quickly found that the staff at OT appreciate the value of life experience, and they have been very intuitive in tailoring assignments to my abilities and requirements. I have a disability and the staff has always been considerate about helping me to scope out a work environment to ensure that my health concerns will be addressed. The staff has always been understanding and very patient with all of my concerns, even if an assignment proved not to be the right fit. No one at OT ever made me feel that I would not be contacted again if I refused an assignment. Most important, staff members reached out to me specifically by phone and sometimes with a personal email about possible assignments. This happened even after I hadn't been in touch for months at a time. These days I have found that most agencies looking to fill assignments send one mass email to all those registered and don't take the time to ensure that all applicants are treated as individuals. Office Team is a terrific group of professionals who work hard to place their employees. I have had 3 different placements and all were perfect fits for my skill set. While working every assignment, Office Team has taken the time to call me to see how things were going and if I had any questions. I could not be more pleased with OfficeTeam! Nathan and John were the best at helping me find a job. They were great about checking in with me about my status of my own job research, when they had potential jobs for me and if it sounded like something I wanted to do, and never pressured me into a job I didn't think was a good fit. During my interview I really felt like they were taking my occupational preferences and transportation limitations into account by finding good office jobs in nearby locations for me to work at.
