Not only were her teachers in both classrooms amazing in helping her grow, they were truly instrumental in her transitioning smoothly to a big sister at home. She has learned so much in the classroom but also immensely increased her social skills and having fun with friends! One thing I really love about Dreamers is, the other childcare professionals, not just my child's direct teachers, all know her by name and clearly love and care for her. We are starting new baby in the infant room next year and are not nervous (although bittersweet) in leaving her in the capable hands of Dreamers.

A Wonderful Experience…read more My daughter attended this daycare for 3.5 years, from 6 months old until nearly 4 years old, and we had such a wonderful experience. Every classroom we went through had caring, knowledgeable teachers who truly understood what they were doing. They were attentive to my daughter's individual needs, receptive to my requests, and consistently provided age-appropriate activities that kept the children engaged and happy. The upper administration is professional, responsive, and clearly takes great pride in the school. I especially appreciated that they have their own children attend the center as well--it speaks volumes about the trust they have in their own program. Any concern I ever brought to leadership was addressed quickly and promptly. Most importantly, my daughter absolutely loved going here. We only left because she is now enrolled in private school, otherwise we would have happily continued. I am a very picky parent and have high standards when it comes to my child's care, and this daycare consistently met them. I am incredibly grateful for the care and support they provided my daughter over the past 3.5 years. I highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a safe, nurturing, professional, and well-run center!

Today, my family and I had a very upsetting experience at a daycare center where we hoped to enroll…read moreour three-year-old child. The first time I visited the daycare alone, I noticed what appeared to be reluctance and a lack of warmth from the two ladies working in the administration office. However, I chose not to make assumptions and continued with the enrollment process. I was informed that I needed to bring my child in for an observation. When my wife, my child, and I arrived for the observation, I noticed that there were no Black children in attendance. Again, I did not think much of it and remained positive about the opportunity for my child. After the observation, my wife and I were informed that our child would not be accepted into the program. The explanation given was that she would not fit in because she was coming from a smaller social environment and might have difficulty adjusting to a larger classroom setting. While I understand that schools must assess whether they can meet a child's needs, the way this decision was communicated left us feeling uncomfortable and singled out. I asked directly whether the decision had anything to do with my child's race. Heather, the manager, quickly responded that it did not. However, her response did little to address my concerns, and I felt that my question was dismissed rather than genuinely considered. The entire interaction left my family feeling unwelcome and discriminated against. As parents, we want our child to be evaluated fairly based on her abilities and potential, not on assumptions or biases. Every child deserves an inclusive and welcoming environment where they are given the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. This experience was deeply hurtful and disappointing for our family, and it has left us questioning whether diversity, equity, and inclusion are truly valued at this daycare center.

The teachers are absolutely wonderful, the food is spectacular (my daughter would constantly rave about the food), and the environment itself is VERY clean and child friendly. In addition, the curriculum is great! They provide group instruction that is fun and easy for the children to pick up and they also provide individualized and small group instruction for children who are at a different pace. They attend to each child and take notice of what they know and don't know and provide instruction based on that. Children's Land definitely prepared my daughter for school. She went to kindergarden being able to read, write, and her math skills were certainly more advanced than at the kindergarden level. Other great assets to the childcare is that they teach music, dance, art, Russian, and Spanish! Overall, our experiences at Children's Land have been great!

KAMP is also very involved in the community which is nice. Our teachers, Ms. Kim and Ms. Monika are so amazing; I can't say enough good things about them. They care about the kids like their own. I'm impressed with how quickly she has picked up reading and math and is excited to show me her work each week. I don't have anything negative to say about the communications, as we have always been notified of any and all new developments regarding my daughter's academic and behavioral progress. The new facility is wonderful - playground, gym, large classrooms and even adorable teeny tiny commodes in the toddler room for those potty training! Additionally, I would like to highlight how well Park View has navigated through this unprecedented year with COVID-19. It has not been easy on anyone, but specifically the kids as many community activities came to a halt. However, with the constant updates and communications from Park View and how they handled their selves, we felt fortunate to have them as our day care provider.

We've sent all three of our kids to Busy Bees and couldn't be happier with that decision. The Montessori instruction fosters independence and confidence in kids. Messiah is perfect to a T. When my daughter started school, she had a hard time napping, the teachers rubbed her back, sang her a song, gave a hug. How wonderful! She said she loved how they treated her "with love" and helped transitioning a breeze. Every time I drop her off, I see her excitement and joy to be back there, and that speaks volumes! The teachers provide an "old school" feel, and it was exactly what I was looking for. By old school, I mean it in the best way possible, kind, patient, loving environment; not the sterile robot like environment of many schools nowadays. The activities change throughout the day, kids get to interact with others outside their classroom. I LOVE that they have a huge playground with plenty of safe, fenced area to play and explore.
