    After 20 plus yrs as Farmers clients we had an auto collision claim, the individual that rear ended…read moreme was also a Farmers client. From the onset Farmers has been taking care of Farmers. What appears at this point to be a simple collision has taken 3 months to manage & it is still not done. At the insistence of Farmers I took countless pictures & uploaded them on their app, I spent countless hours chasing the claims staff down & was lied to repeatedly on the status (the second claims adjuster admitted I was lied to). They do not care about the consumer on bit. The other party that rear ended me refused to cooperate so Farmers made it my problem. After finally agreeing to have the vehicle repaired I was told all the time & effort I had dedicated to upload the pictures was a waste of time & I had to spend 1/2 a day at home waiting for a Farmers claims adjuster to duplicate all my efforts. He laughed when he arrived at my home & said "yes it is duplication of work", "not sure why you were told to use the app" and then he came to the same conclusion as my original estimate. We are now 3 months into this hell & I was finally given permission to have the vehicle repaired & was told to pick up my rental vehicle at Enterprise Rent-A-Car which turned into another disaster. We own a high end SUV & they rented the smallest vehicle in the Enterprise Rent-A-Car fleet. Run do not walk away from Farmers, they will gladly take your money but when you need them they won't be there for you.

I added renter insurance last year, but did not need it anymore, so I took it off. My insurance went up very high. That is not the problem. I called in Dec, left a voicemail, but got no call back. I thought, maybe it is the holidays, so I called back 3 weeks later, and left a voicemail, and still no call back, and It has been another week. Go find another agent, and even a different insurance.
