Dr. Peden is a competent and polite doctor but it is almost impossible to reach their offices to…read moreschedule or even change an appointment or to ask any questions beforehand. Unfortunately I can't keep calling to try and reach them and will go elsewhere.

I would not return to or recommend this place. I found the practitioners to be under knowledgeable…read morein their field. I came for a replacement of my Kyleena IUD, as it had been about a month short of 5 years which is the effectivity timeframe for Kyleena. At my appointment, the doctor informed me there had been new information presented by the medical community that confirmed the Kyleena IUD is effective for 7 years. I was surprised by this because I research my own healthcare choices pretty thoroughly and this was not what I had seen. However, maybe I made a mistake. So, I went home and researched again, Kyleena is definitely only approved for 5 years of effective use. So, I came back, brought this to light, and the doctor apologized for getting it confused with Mirena. I understand it was a mistake, but I do think that's a pretty pivotal mistake that could drastically affect someone's life, I.e. being told a contraceptive device is still effective when it's not. I find it very frustrating as a patient, to have to over advocate for your own, very standard contraceptive healthcare. The doctor was friendly and so was the staff. Regardless of the appointment, before coming in you were asked to fill out patient paperwork on your mobile device which was fine that makes sense, and it's the typical medical history, appointment purpose etc. However, when you get there you have to fill out the same exact paperwork again on their tablet which I found counterintuitive.

Dr. Springer at Spectra Wellness brought me back to life. I'm 27 and have struggled with autoimmune…read moredisorders, stomach problems, mental health concerns, chronic fatigue, and more for years. I knew I shouldn't be so uncomfortable in my own body at such a young age. I was referred to Dr. Springer by a former colleague and completely entrusted him with my care without the slightest bit of knowledge on muscle testing - it changed my life. The supplementation he programmed for me transformed my body and brain in a matter of 3 months. There's still work to be done, but in just 3 months he fixed my stomach problems, gave me energy again (no caffeine necessary), and lowered the inflammation all over my body. My anxiety has lowered, I'm sleeping better, and I'm not panicked about eating out at restaurants with a fear of pain and discomfort after. The caveat? It's expensive. And it's a real time commitment too. Insurance doesn't view functional medicine and their natural supplementation as traditional and it's not covered. It's an investment to health and personal development. Plus, you have to put in the work and be intentional with the diet regime and supplements. I truly believe it's worth it, but it breaks my heart how inaccessible this care is to the majority of the population. Dr. Springer's focus on root cause rather than masking symptoms and side effects is life changing.

I went to them for diet. They never ordered labwork for me to properly monitor. They never…read moreexplained how to administer the shots nor how I should gradually stop. Forget about calling, you'll be left on hold. Although they have usually five or more behind the desk no one seems to be able to attend incoming patients. I just felt like they were more interested in taking your money than caring for the patients. They defer all questions and communications to the patient portal. I am truly disappointed. And seriously if you go to a medical practice focused on weight and health, shouldn't the staff be representative of that. Most of the staff are overweight and have the worst attitude ever. It's as if they don't want to be there either. Talk about being poorly run and for Godssake turn on the lights in the visitor waiting room. It may help wake people up!
