If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I was a past student at this school which is why I felt confident enough to sent my child here. But boy, the times have changed. If you want to waste your money, send your child here. The principal and administrator do not care to address needs of the children and only worried about a paycheck. This school tried to open under nation mandated stay at home orders. The administrator and principal both avoid calls, texts and emails. They are holding out on my sons lesson plans. WHAT A JOKE. My child is now falling behind because of his teachers refusal to respond to me. The teacher/principals exact words to me in regards to teaching my son for the remainder of the school year, "why waste my time if he's not coming back next year?" UPDATE 4/19: My son has now been "removed" from the school due to slow internet connections. His teacher/principal/owner (all one person) will refuse to believe he was kicked out of Zoom due to slow internet speeds and believes he was playing around. He had roughly 6 weeks left of the school year and she refuses to take him back into the school. I just paid tuition for the month so there goes $400. I had to involve an attorney for my son's records since the school is withholding them so I'm unable to enroll him in another school. read more

I know nothing about this school except they did not pay their bill to this contractor. I am the owner of RJ Fire Sprinkler systems. I was called to Mary Law school over eight months ago for an emergency repair on the fire sprinkler riser. It turned out to be quite a big job. The underground piping below the riser had failed and water was pouring out of the floor. This job took my men four days to complete the repair on a time and material basis. I have never been paid. I have made numerous phone calls, left messages, sent letters to no avail. I have still not been paid. My next recourse is a lawsuit. I sent my son to Mary Law Private School about 10 years ago. As the school year went on, I noticed that my child wasn't learning or retaining as much as they should. After inspection of school work and work that I gave my child to do at home so I could assess their progress, I determined that either a teacher or teachers aide was tampering with the work to make it look like my child was learning more than they really were. Our daughter loves this school, and so do we. She's been here since Kindergarten and is now in second grade. She has grown so tremendously in this time in many ways: her writing (including cursive!) is incredible, her math is way ahead of her age, she's good on a keyboard, she's learning music, and she has fantastic self-esteem. And best of all, her imagination is unstoppable thanks to the many ways the teachers here give structured imaginative exercises. They have an excellent curriculum and keep kids safe and well behaved (mostly...kids are still kids). We highly recommend this school. read more

There are things in life that are very important, like your child's education and safety. Mary law private school is an example of teachers that care for your child's education and safety. The teachers have kept us informed and our son loves attending this school. We are amazed wth the new things our son has learned from music to science, history, spelling, etc. our son has attended Mary law since the first grade and he is now getting ready for the fourth grade. I was thankful to have this school and all the teachers and staffs to be part of my child's life. When my daughter was a baby until 3 years old I been having problems looking for a trustable baby sitter, and I keep praying to find someone to take care of her that I can have a peace of mind while I am at work. Then one day I saw a friend with the child like my daughter age and his daughter came home with a paper works from school, so I ask my friend about it and he told me about Mary Law Private school. I didn't waste anytime, I called right away and ask for an appointment and I was so happy of the result, I not only going saved money because I was paying one third more to my baby sitter, and the best thing Is my daughter can learn and be prepared. This school is highly recommended for your kids to have a good start not only in school because of their high academic teaching but believes it or not when my daughter was in kindergarten she all ready learning all the basic Math, spelling writing and reading, but very good foundation of their life. All teachers are nice and caring and they are paying attention to discipline the kids, even my child became so attached to them. Mrs. Fox is the worst teacher I have ever dealt with. She is not only unprofessional, but a great example of what a horrible teacher looks like. She makes children feel that they cannot speak to her and she plays favorites. When given feedback to emphasize with children and understand that not all children are to her standards she got upset!! Explained all students reach milestones at different times, She expects children to be at her level Of learning or else she will not bother on help them. She expects a first grader to be at a 2nd grade mentality. Explained the California curriculum of learning to her for 1st grade she didn't care one bit, just laughed! The Admin/owner of the school and the woman who says she's "in charge" of grade school are both unprofessional and pathetic human beings. So glad we left this school!! The only teachers that were great were Mr. Jay & Mr.Rocha they will be missed!. This place sucks. It's old and rundown. And the location is terrible not to mention the electronic magnetic wires that hanger over the entire school...cancer concern. The owner is very unfriendly and lacks compassion. For a day care provider this is unacceptable. read more

My child has attended this school for 4 yrs and this by far is the worse. Kinder, two thumbs up. Mrs. Niles is excellent. The first grade teacher, Mrs. Reyes, retired but she was as well awesome. The second grade teacher is quick on giving the negative and doesn't give enough positive feedback but she at least talks to parents...Ms. Estrada. The third grade teacher needless to say is not very good and would let a child fail before informing the parent. Of course this does not go for all the students just the males it seems. She puts off communicating with parents until it is literally weeks past or the parent approaches her. It's bad when another teacher is informing you of what's going on with your child because their primary teacher is to busy or just doesn't care enough about your child's welfare to talk with you. And this just isn't my child, I am witnessing it with the other children in the class. I am a parent that doesn't just look to the teacher to do everything, active in my kids lives I want to know when they are falling behind. If you the teacher see this and persistently lets it go on in hopes that the child will miraculously change with no help then you are sadly mistaken, but this is what is happening. And it is being covered under the word "responsibility." There is a limit on that word for a third grader especially when there is no real structure in the class room. Meetings have not worked, as the school director does not care, which in turn the teacher does not care, which in turn my child does not care. Children know when someone cares about them, they can feel it. And when a figure as pivotal as a teacher is showing this behavior for 7 hours of the day it's life changing. I would recommend this school up to first grade and skip the 2nd and 3rd grade. The fourth grade has another awesome teacher but I have such a bad taste that we won't be at Mary Law after this year. If I could remove my child right now I would but i don't want to teach them to just run. We are not going to fail despite what this teacher is showing. read more
