That was also really good, doesn't like the frozen ones with preservatives but rather really fresh! For dessert we ordered rhubarb crisp! Must try! Delicious sweet and hit home for us! It's very different from all the restaurants in town and gives a taste of Indian curry without going back to Toronto.

If it were in Toronto it would be three stars tops, but for Owen Sound, four for sure.

Perched up in the corner of a wrap around strip, this restaurant has big windows looking out over a corner of downtown Owen Sound. The speciality here is sandwiches, and the special that day was tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich, yumm, comfort food. I opted for a peameal, lettuce and tomato sandwich which came on thin sliced wonder bread. The bacon was on the thin side, a perfect amount for a sandwich, and had several layers of nice fresh tomato sliced thinly piled up about an inch high which gave me a nice juicy bite. The cook worked behind an open window and shouted out to me, 'Do you want mayo on that?', I said yes and went back to perusing the odd assortment of feel-good cute kitsch adorning the walls and nooks of the spacious dining room with a decidedly Christian bent to it.
